Yeah sure, it'll probably be worth a zero so that's what I'll vote.
If you plan on throwing a 0 at them out of spite, so be it.
I've missed out on points for the same reasons you mentioned. I do not "go with the flow" on Fun Stuff crap, Star Syndicate garbage, etc. If it sucks, it gets a 0, even if I know people are going to be sheep and get it to pass. I've said it before, I'd rather make my point on a submission than earn a point off one.

Congrats to Dogma for the wonderfull new badge, well done old bean, well done indeed.
Thanks much.
As for j00bies movie, due to reading the posts in here before i actually watch it, i think it will be shitty, thanks for the warning though guys :)
~shrug~ He claimed he would be updating them over time. When submitted, the recent one at submission had no bgm, but now people are talking about there being music. I take back my above "bonus" as he's bulked the file size up from 250k to 1mb with music. Eventually it will be viewable, but not today.

Supreme Dogma will do. *tsk tsk* Leaving without kissing my ring? For shame.

Congrats to D0gma on now having no need to vote on anything under judgement ever again.
I at least need to finish out the week ... have to keep up my gold pace ;)

Despite the fact that about 20 people have mentioned it, I just realised: well done D0GMA on getting EGSC. Very well done indeed.
Thanks =)
The level system needs to be static as well. D0GMA would lose his level 14 eventually if he didn't deposit. We need more levels, and a new, static level system. Please.
Everyone is used to the static-scaling system in place now. There's been rumours of either an entirely new system (for both ranks and levels), or just more ranks and levels, being implemented at some unknown future date. Just wait for it.

I voted that we not even have an election. Like I said, I don't believe it's warranted at this point.
I completely agree with you, but I didn't think raising the issue would result in the election being cancelled. Maybe I should have spoken up after all.
I doubt my "vote-no-vote" will have any affect, but I cast it ... same as my giving j00bie's flash what it deserved :-P~~ spancker is back, sort of, and trying to get back into the swing of things. The obvious and most effective way to prove he's back is to run an election. I just think people need more time to either chill out, get more known, get more familiar with the answers they are misquoting, etc.
If I ever get Flash and submit something here I'd be looking for a 3.00 at the least. I couldn't bring myself to submit absolute trash and get an equally trashy Batting Average.
~nod~ I'm my biggest critic. Even once I get "good" at putting a flash together, I'll never qualify for a Time Trial. I'll spend weeks tweaking a scene to get it just where I want it.

To all of you who tossed passing scores at it, fuck off.
Damn D0GMA. You said exactly what I was thinking. I actually sat through that quiz atrocity and couldn't bring myself to watch that stupid Handbook, especially after reading the negative opinions here and the review on the very same page. Being a smartass is all well and good, but that quiz was just damn stupid.
Baaaaaaa! Vote Fifen! Baaaaa!

Level 30 is almost impossible to get, especially for a level 9 like me. Let me do some calculations...
<snip out math>
Work it out however you like, the fact remains that it's a good system as it is representative of the fact that you are constantly increasing both your experience and your proporionate experience. I've used this example a number of times:
Your parents are 20 when you are born.
When you are 5, you are 20% of their age.
When you are 10 you are 33.33% of their age.
When you are 20, you are 50% of their age.
When you are 40, you are 66.67% of their age.
When you are 60, you are 75% of their age.
At no time are you ever any closer than 20 years younger than your parents, but your percentage constantly goes up. In the experience system, this is reflected by the fact that your base voting power is constantly increasing.
The fact that there are "levels" arbitrarily placed along the way causes people to think that more levels would actually mean something. They are simply there as a courtesy to let people have shorter range goals to attempt to achieve, as well as having predefined BBS icons.
