The last level went by faster then I thought, other then the last few days.
Level ups usually feel better then new Badges, though you get a bigger point boost from a new badge, the amount of time it takes to get to a new level is much more!

I am surprised to say that I have just recently fallen into the top 2000 in Experience. I also just received more that 9000 Blam/Protect points. I think that is pretty good, even with work, classes, and girls.

They are xp. watch it though. You get 1 point per vote and can deposit any time up to and including 10 points. If you vote on 11 or 15 or whatever and haven't depositted ... no soup for you

~shrug~ it's new and you can get in on the ground floor is about all it has going for it at the moment. What really sucks at this point is that UJ lasts for ... count em ... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, SIX votes. I throw a 2 at one of the top flashes that's at 3.4 or whatever and the thing drops to 3.37 or lower. Things like that are why NG bumped base up to 200 votes ... less effect of any one vote.

Splitting (and dynamic ranking of them) of "curbs" and "keeps" are features I'd like to see here, but flip only is dealing with 600 users to rank. I can't imagine him doing dynamic ranking if/when he hits 5k users

I'll be really interested to see if I "rank up" over there at some point. With the splitting ... it's most likely going to occur separately for each if at all ... or maybe like you need a minimum of 50 in each to get to the first "rank". There doesn't appear to be any VP per se and the lack of vote volume required to pass judgment is going to be a real problem in short order.

That's why I stayed at Retrogade after joining it. Their current lvl 30 user (DaFreak_B_ or summat) is only on 4,660 xp last time I checked. Plus, you can get 20 xp per day (10 for clicking a free 'DEPOSIT XP' link in your user menu, and another 10 for voting on 5 entries in the Photoshop Portal) so things are moving a lot faster. I've begun my first big level over there now. It's nice to see a fresh set of level icons.

Ha ha, congrats to him. I have been wanting to get into that top 100 for a while, but I don't do nearly enough blamming or protecting. In fact, I have reached a stagnant point... I'm at that rank (around 250) where a lot of people in my ranking blam and save a lot, so if I don't do it for even one day my ranking drops. I remember the good old days when I could jump nearly 5-10 places in the b/p rankings daily, and now I'm just hovering. Today marks the first day I've actually slipped, and it sucks >{
