More than likely that's due to the fact that you have a higher VP bonus from all of your rank-ups so faralthough your base may only go up ... say every 3 days, the VP bonus is at a point where it's typically closer to 2 days between +.01s. The increased base VP since you were climbing through 6.XX also gives you more like .12 at a rank-up, rather than the .10 and .11 you had previously.

It's a Wednesday ... it's usually the busiest, at least for good entries, as this is the start of the NG week. This is more like a submission pace from late December/early January.

I forget the link (and the FAQ's list is wrong), but you'll rank up when you hit 1,000 points, and then steps of 500 until you reach 3,000. Unless you wanted to know something else, of course :-)

It's in the FAQ now. As JT and I pointed out when they posted the new FAQ, the values are wrong for LtG and higher, and have still not been corrected. Odds are they posted that information based upon either an earlier intention of how the ranks were going to break down (that particular scheme makes more sense than the one in use) or upon Newgrundling's first post of rank splits.
