Not bad at all. It's a good thing that it only increases from 1000/badge to 15000. First we get a multiple of 1000, then 500 points later a badge, then 500 points later we get 10, 000 (sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet).
BTW, the race to the next badge is almost over. Unless you can get 500 points over the next 3 days (since I am busy during those days), I will win for certain.
