that's from a thread a few pages back so if that's true level 16 makes it 3.5 points harder every day to level up.

So somewhere between 19 and 20 you start to lose more experience than you deposit. Ugly. I bet that's the time when a lot of users simply log on long enough to dump their experience and split.

More like somewhere between 19 and 20 you lose more than HALF of the exp you deposit, effectively.

And more accurately, you could probably say "you lose more than half of the GROUND you gained when you deposit at level 20 once HT deposits, each day." But that's longwinded and unnecessarily complex.

Let's just say that you don't want to be Pimp, unless you like your 10 exp effectively being yanked away each day as HT deposits. All 10. (sniff)

I track both my points and votes. For the two days I have tracked so far, I have only voted 86,5% correctly. That's not as good as I would like it to be. I hope that tracking this can give me a better view of how to vote right. I go for a 95% average. Then I will be satisfied. And I did wonder "where my points went" because some days I vote A LOT and get only about 30-40 points. Then I'm unhappy.. as it looks now, my perception of how much I vote is just bad.. hehe.

Profile views as far as I know never gave a user experience.

However, profile views (from unique user IPs) used to raise and lower a ranking known as "Popularity". There's no more Popularity rankings on NG, however. People used to pull stupid stunts just for the purpose of raising their popularity. The most common of these was pretending to be female. Others would make intentionaly stupid BBS threads or reviews.

that was not exp that was for popularity points when some one viewed your profile you got a point. with that you could see if a lot of people viewed your profile you could see how you where ranked at people viewing every ones profile. they deleted it all becouse people started spamming and doing other stupid stuff to get people you view there profiles.
