Unless they are actually deluded into thinking they'll get a better score, it's probably just to get as much attention with their bad jokes as possible.

A few times there have been borderline-quality flashes that squeaked by on attempt 2.

heh, so much for the planning. There was a change in plans and a different cruise got booked. Its around the Mediterranean Sea, starting in Venice then to Dubrovnik, Piraeus, Santorini, Naples, Civitavecchia, Livorno, Villefranche, and then to Barcelona. I believe Barcelona was a host to the Olympic games once before. In either case its gona be great! But I cant get too excited, its 4 months from now :-P

On an NG related topic, I am very close to getting to level 14. I am sure gfox knows about the awful emotional and physical pain I am about to endure during this process ;)

What the heck is the daily increment to get to level 17? It seems like everytime I deposit I slide back 4 or 5 points. Are you finding the climb to level 17 a little tougher than usual _lightning_?

Yes it sucks and to think it will only get harder on the next levels.

You gain just over 6 points per day.

No, it's just the equivalence of depositing 4 points, instead of 10. You don't LOSE any, you just don't go up by much.

Well.. I was bored, so I added on to my Experience Level Image link in my sig. Now it has the Whistle Icons/names, The blam/protect ranks/names/points needed/percentage, and The Images/Downloads needed Information of the Audio portal. I'm going to come up with some pictures that have to do with each of them later that are going to replace the text-links on the main page.

And yes, Barcelona had the summer olympics in 1992.

I've visited the olympic park in Seoul, South Korea (in around 1990, and they had the olympics in 1988, so not too long afterwards).

More like somewhere between 19 and 20 you lose more than HALF of the exp you deposit, effectively.

And more accurately, you could probably say "you lose more than half of the GROUND you gained when you deposit at level 20 once HT deposits, each day." But that's longwinded and unnecessarily complex.

Let's just say that you don't want to be Pimp, unless you like your 10 exp effectively being yanked away each day as HT deposits. All 10. (sniff)

I've been thinking about doing the same thing but just with the most frequently asked questions like "how do I gain experience?" or "how do I get blam/protect points?"
