I had a good B/P day too, bumped up 2 places in the overall list.

The 200 votes judgement is going to raise blam numbers, now more people(at least 150) can get their blam in on a submission before it's gone.

I got like 50 saves and blam points when the protal started working, but I had been up for like 24 hours so I went to bed, and when I woke up I was shocked to see the huge list was no more! >:( I was hopping to score another 50, damn it!

But yeah, I've been trying to do a lot of voting on Under Judgement submissions lately. Mostly trying to hang on to that #25 spot on that Top Saviors/Blammers list. It's pretty hard when you don't have nearly as much free time as you used to. And I haven't even mentioned the fact that _lightning_ is still on my tail. Got to shake him off somehow. Either way, I'm pretty happy that I finally made that rank. Sure as hell looks better than the last one too. But yeah, totally wearing the new badge with pride right now. Check it out.

It really wasn't that excellent of an event... I know everyone got excited when they saw how many points were streaming in, but you have to consider two harsh realities:

The only reason there were so many points yesterday is that there were hardly ANY points to be had on Sunday, due to the portal shutdown (viewing/voting/reviewing).

And secondly, much worse, is that a lot of movies weren't submitted that would have been under normal circumstances. Presumably mostly GOOD movies. So that cut out some of the total available points for the 2 day period, PLUS it heavily cut down on protects.

But, either way, I'll be ranking up today, so I'm happy.

Still, too many blams these past few days. Oh well. Hopefully... the new Saviour Animation will herald a new dawn for the portal. PROTECT CITY, HERE WE COME. I hope. #;-}>

Whenever I had a three hour break at university, I either went home, drank or played pool. Although home was never more than 40 minutes away. Yes it was. Considering I only get 20 - 30 points a day, yesterday more than made up for the day before. I mean, it was a whole days worth of points right in front of you, which nulled the complaint that you have to spend all day on the Portal to get a days worth of points.

I was speaking from the perspective of someone who was spending both sunday and monday in front of the computer.

For about half a year, I've been by myself or with 1 or 2 other people at most ranks, man. I've been in no danger of getting lost in a crowd. Heck, the most lost in a crowd I'm ever going to be on the top 50 list is when I become the 6th EGSC and there are thus 6 of us. That'll be the largest group of same-rank-people I'll have been in for like 8 ranks. O_o

anyway, I really gotta leave now before my gf kills me.

It's not THAT exclusive a club, me being the 32nd member pales in comparison to me being the 6th ever EG General, IMO (much more exclusive!), but it's still fun to get past the 10 VP mark.

10.01 for now, but once HT deposits, it'll be back to 10 even for one more day. Which is just fine by me, I love that my rankup made me hit the amount just PERFECTLY.

Well, I was EXPECTING to be like 9.95-9.99ish. I didn't want to spoil the actual surprise by calculating my total VP after the rankup by multiplying my base of 6.45 times 1.55 instead of by 1.48, but...

I figured that I usually get 0.12 added to my VP every 2% bonus rankup (i.e. all of them up to the last two, which are 7% and 5%), and that I'd thus get at least 0.36 for this one, and probably closer to 0.40-0.42, which would have bumped me from 9.55 to 9.95-9.97, but I never anticipated that 7% was going to amount to a full 0.45 bonus to bump me RIGHT to 10.00 exactly.

If I'd ranked up a few days earlier, it would have been 9.99, and if I'd ranked up a couple days later, it would have been 10.01.

Somehow, I timed it just right, by accident, and got 10.00 on the nose.

I figured I'd have to exp deposit to get up to it, and it'd probably take until early February. So, you can imagine, it was a pleasant surprise to find out I could get it yesterday along with the 2nd highest rankup you can get. Sweet.
