Aww yes that guy lol

I guess he had passed me over the years when I was missing a year here or there, games do take a bit more especially if it has medals I like to take time with those, but its on my things to do list at some point.
Onlything any of us can do is grind away.

If I did not leave newgrounds somany times in the past 15 years and was active all those times I probably would be much higher I supose there were times where I didnt come to the grounds for months and even a year here and there, so alot of time has been missed.

But Im pretty proud that I have maintained a better activness over the past year or so,

Yeah that might've been why he focused on them, it was the one category the competition really required some dedication; others weren't as likely to get into. :) Feel the same way about games, and though I don't think I'll be climbing past him in reviews there it would be nice to get back to medals...

Yeah me too. If I'd been as active as I am now when you weren't the ranks might've been different. ;) Seems the site is really livening up recently though.

In other news I noticed that I lost 68 reviews today. Apparently an account got cleared or something... that hurts.. I've lost several hundred reviews in the last year or so and it's enough to where I don't think I'll review anything else anymore. That or I'll stop putting so much effort into it. I usually spend a good 30 minutes writing a review on a submission. I think I'll go more for the few sentences approach from here on out.

Yeah after the latest purge I felt similarly. Still end up putting unjustified amounts of words in response to particular content but for the most part... when you know it might just up and disappear it really doesn't seem worth it. Wish there was a system in place to let users really preserve their content, regardless of what it's posted in response too. I'm all for users being able to remove their stuff if they want to, but on post or review archives: unlink, don't remove. That'd be the ideal way IMO. The current system rewards those who don't care so much; don't pour a serious amount of time into any one thing, as they don't lose as much, but even then it's unnecessary.

Yeah, it would be nice if they sat there even if a submission went away, but it is what it is. I got hit back then as well for a couple hundred reviews and now again for almost another 100 reviews. That's really only a 50 year set back on my current pace.. no biggie..
