That is a good strategy to earning it. You also have to be careful in the future, because you can lose it.

Seems that's what he did too. :) You're right of course, though I remember in the... decade (?!) I was stuck on gold it was kinda frustrating not knowing how close you were to the top, or even if you were getting closer or no, flagging things correctly or not. If anything it'd be good to know if you flag something wrong so you can learn from your mistakes. And possibly stop doing wrong before you hit rock bottom and have to start that long climb again. A lot of people seem to be stuck with garbage whistles, and who knows if they're still flagging; still don't know they're not flagging the right way.

Ah, that's nice! Don't think I've ever received a message like that, so maybe I was never doing too much wrong there... curious if there's any 'formula' to when a message like that is sent out, manual or no? If it still works that way?

In that case: automated messages with some guideline-checking advice if you flag a certain number of reviews/certain number within a certain time wrong would be a pretty useful feature! Good to know though, and yeah asking around's definitely the way to go, though lower age usually entails: higher confidence/naivety/lack of forethought. Don't think I questioned if I was flagging things right or no from the start, only when I realized I wasn't.
