Yep, I quite like the new character. Moving away from the Final Fantasy stigma is good. I just feel put off by the series considering their modern bullshit. I don't hate it by all means but I'm not as proud of the series as I once was.

You're right there. Cleese was the star on Fawlty Towers as well so I feel I see him a lot around.

Never liked Fawlty Towers. Maybe it was because of the shitty advertising the TV station had. It really put me off and made me not want to watch the series.

You just gotta try it sometime and make some daring moves. I'll see how things go with this new girl that I have my eye on. Yep, the general agreement with everyone I've spoken to about it is to not rush it but go for it when the time's right. It's simple, really but the real question is when to make the move. Considering her studies I'll see sometime in the Summer holidays.

It can be difficult to entirely forget about her. I think you can understand why it'll be a long time until there's a day when not once do I think of her. Hopefully life turns around soon enough and I'll have new things to keep me occupied. You know, like working full-time or finding a new partner. Not to worry, I can never rush into a new relationship considering what I've told you here. I'm really not the guy who could easily jump from one to another like she did. Again, I know so few girls who aren't taken. However, I am seeing about reaching out somewhere on the internet.

Try telling me that - I had almost 5 years with Bex and she is still a part of my life. She tried to invite herself to my 30th birthday party and only stopped when I said "you're not invited because my best friend hates you." I'd never planned to ask her to it anyway, as we're not friends like that any more.

It's not even been a year since I knew my ex. I first heard her name around this time last year but it wasn't until August when I actually met her. As time progressed she became one of my best friends and eventually, the relationship but now it's all staying away from each other. At least it wasn't a few years down the drain for me since the last thing I need in my life is wasting even more time.

The whole thing about Bex inviting herself to your 30th kinda reminds me of the one who I was trying to date back in 2009. She did invite herself to my 19th birthday party but she couldn't make it in the end. A week later she expressed her love to me but that all went within six weeks. Also, generally I wouldn't give out the names of my ex like how Bex has been established here. Although, if you were on Facebook you could easily find out her name but you could also find out the name of my parents and such. Infact, anyone who has me friended on there can do just that...

I still get some "We are sorry" responses from jobs I applied to in January... my wife heard back from a job A YEAR later. They wanted to hire her... what do those guys think? That you just sent one application and then sit at home and wait for them to reply?

*I went for a run this morning and on the way, I was treated to Poison, by Alice Cooper. The very next song was Poison, albeit live at Donnington. Now, that can happen, so I allowed it to play and continued my torture. This afternoon, I headed into town, to various tunes. Heading out of Halfords, I was playing Powerslave, from Live After Death. When that finishes, the iPod lurches straight into Powerslave from the album of the same name. Stunned, I recall the run and skip a track, to get something slightly different. Lo and behold, I ended up with powerslave from Flight 666.

Being a sad nutcase, I had to work out the probability of this happening. Apparently, with the amount of tunes I have on my iPod, the chances are 1 in about 7,500, which equates to roughly 0.013%. I feel special.

True, I've not gone CV sending sprees like that and I'd like to do it some more soon. For now some job opportunities have appeared so while I'm going to hear out from them, I'll still keep applying to other places. Just gotta keep all those options open.

Heh, for me they're all "There's still plenty of fish in the sea." Well guess what, there's no fucking fish in the sea around here. It's a fucking dump and I've got no future sitting around here for the rest of my life. Maybe I'll find someone within the north west region but I have this feeling that to find my true partner I'm gonna need to take a further distance. Maybe I could find someone in Manchester but this county? Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffft. If I'm wrong, I won't be angry but after seeing my life here for almost 23 years now, I know where I stand with my local area.

Yeah, you have a point there, although one could still find the name of my ex. At least I don't wave around the name of family and friends on the internet.
