I've deleted my own posts a couple times, but mostly for double posting or a screwed up formatted list. I hate how my postcount is off for a few hours when I do that, so I try to refrain from it whenever possible.

Yeah.. pretty much. In one of the posts, someone had a bart simpson gif, and he said something like "OMG ThATS A KEWL PIC WEHRE DID YOU GET IT???" In a pico 2 topic, he said something like "me too, I want to know!!" silenteye was posting the double post error in a lot of topics, and gunman said in a few of them "STOP COPYING THAT TEXT OVER AND OVER" and accused him of spamming. (Coming from the guy that just bumped 30 topics from 2 years ago...)

If these topics were a week or 2 old.. then I could understand if he didn't mean to do it and accidently clicked on a different page and thought they were all new posts not looking at the dates... But getting to page 64 takes a bit more effort than accidently clicking on page 3 or 4 or something. And based on one of his previous posts asking about someone that got banned for bumping old topics, this was obviously intentional.

Had to wait for the list to update and time to do the screen shoot. I almost stoped at 35K but I messed up and voted 1 too many times, so I kept going.

Well, given enough time with the portal and the b/p system remaining more or less as it is now, anybody who keeps coming to NG and watching new submissions technically has the potential to get there. Now, burnout being what it is and lack of more ranks to strive for past 30,000 make it unlikely, but... Personally, while I may slow down at certain points, and hell, I can even see myself going back to a "coming to NG every couple weeks instead of every day/every couple days" mode, I don't think I'd ever stop getting b/ps cold as long as I was still coming here and going to the portal. Soo... we shall see.

As for fixit...

It's times like these that I wish NG had some sort of wagerable/tradable stat... an actual gold or money number, say. We could put bets on where/when fixit will stop. Like I've said before, I think he's programmed to shut off when he gets to a 10,000 mark no one else has gotten to. IOW, 40,000 for now.

Timewise, though... I'm going with January 31st, 2004, but I can't be positive. He may slow down now that he's in the lead, we don't know how his algorithm works exactly.

Well, if I'd be around and you'd replied to gunman in all 35 topics, I might consider it, since that would be creating a lot of unnecessary extra work. Joe already had to individually delete the bumping posts in all those topics, you see, and then to have to delete all the replies TO the bumps... it just magnifies the problem.

My review count is at a nice number as well, I've just hit 3,000 b/p points, I'll hit 3,000 exp next week (well, 3,002 actually, but you get the point) and in about 18 posts time I'll complete the quadfecta (or whatever one more than a trifecta is) of 1,000 in the four main categories. I think a few people have already done that, in fact pretty much everyone in the upper echelons of the review list has.

He definately wasn't going to read anything... He was busy bumping old topics pointlessly. If you look at the pics I took of it, about 30 or so of his spam replies were made within 30 minutes. (4 or 5 of them were made in the morning.) He was busy looking on page 64 and hitting reply on all of those topics to read anything made by anyone else after him. All I know is if he does it again after this 3 weeks off... He won't be posting for at least 2 months.

i heard that the thread was just posting about posting so why care that it's locked? btw it was a really old thread so none of the mods could have locked it only the admins could have.
