You could have been ahead of him from the LAST update of the blam/save rank in the profiles (It doesn't change every time someone gets more points than someone else) Then he got those extra few points that put him ahead of you and it just still hasn't gotten to the daily update point yet. If it stays with you having less points but ranked ahead for more than a day, then yes there is a glitch. But if at the daily update point it is sorted out, then that was the problem.

Since it's such a small amount away, it's most likely that he just got more than you since the last update, if it was 200 or so difference, THEN it would be a glitch.

Yeah, no kidding. It won't be too much longer before the spread between levels goes up past 700 and approaches 800. When it gets that far, 9 to 10's gonna be around 3 months. And just imagine the hell people at our current levels will have getting to the next one. For example, 14->15 is probably going to take as long as 17->18 does now.

thisisasignin is moving, yes, but he makes snails look fast lately. Ever since he and Crono ranked up around the same time, while Crono was passing him, he hasn't moved much. And basically Crono's moved up over 2000 above him while he's gained 100 or 200 or so... and I've moved up from 3000 behind him to only 1000 behind him soon.

I didn't think I'd catch him before the end of the year. And it still looks like I probably won't, especially since I'll probably be away for a few days around Christmas... but it won't be too far into January before I catch him, most likely.

Well, I think his point was that WIHT Level Up! Lounge isn't very brief, and level up! is. But anywho...

the main thing to consider, IMO, is that there are two types of people coming into WIHT:

1) relatively new people who see level up! and don't know what the heck it is. Most just check it out and move on, some post their own level up posts or ask how to deposit exp or something... fairly harmless but still better to not have it going on in our topic as it just spams it up some... and SOME flame spancker for his original post without reading the rest of the thread, or even just the last/latest page.

2) the people who hang out here/drop by from time to time. The discussions in here would be the same as they are now if we changed the name to BRRRRRAPATOWA or something, so the name of the thread shouldn't matter much in this case.

Plus, if anyone's ever talking about this thread in another thread, like "look at my post in level up! to see what I mean," it's not like they have to call it the full name. Referring to this topic as level up! will always happen, I'm sure, and in fact just shows that you've been around for awhile. Ahhh, history. #;-}>

Anyway, it sounds like perhaps it's time to ask liljim if the namechange can be done. That's not a sure thing, after all, there's not much of a precedent for this. Anywho, shall I ask him?
