Nice, is it a gaming PC? Graphic card is a bit lacking if it is but if it isn't, that's totally fine. Good choice in CPU, even though my CPU is newer than yours, you can actually overclock higher than me, don't know enough about the mobo however, I'll have to read up about it but overall, very cool build.
I didn't build it with any thoughts of gaming, I just wanted a fast general use PC. Not sure if I mentioned before, but this was my first build. I just got the idea in my head one day, took my rudimentary knowledge of PCs and went for it. :P I must say it is cool having a PC you built from the ground up, not to mention I learned quite a bit.

I was wondering: Why is it, that in some countries you get the presents on 25th? I mean, Jesus was born on 24th, and to celebrate his birth, we bring each other presents. That makes sense. But presents on the 25th? Doesn't make too much sense... or is it because Jesus recieved his presents on the 25th?

If they had anything more to say in this country, than every newborn child would get a weapon in their hands. Their logic is just so silly... it's like, if there are too many robberies, people should rob the stores themselves, so no robber can steal anything anymore.
Also, the statement: "If there where more guns, someone could've shot him!" or "Those people drive into towns/states where the guns are forbidden, so they can cause more damage" are just disgusting. Guess what? If guns where forbidden everywhere, then he couldn't cause any damage.
Also, there's one major flaw in their logic: That guy got the guns from his mother. So, his mother already owned guns. And did it help her? No.

No. On 24th I was at my in-laws. Two parents-in-law, two sisters-in-law and one husband of my sister-in-law. The first sil with two kids (13 and 8), the second with one kid (2).
On 25th, I was at my mother's. Plus her common-law spouse. Plus my grandma and one of my uncles and his wife. Also, my brother, his gf and his two kids (4 and 1 1/2).
On 26th, I was at my father's. Plus his common-law spouse. Plus my aunt. Also, my brother, his gf and his two kids (4 and 1 1/2).
My family is getting too big for things like christmas. And worst of all: I had to go to work today. UGH!

Oh yeah, but these occurrences are generally unavoidable, since we are only human, after all. Come to think of it, if we were attacking the second ammendment, we would be saying that no-one should have guns at all, because someone in the class is misbehaving with them, thus they should all be confiscated...

I have family staying today so I have a very busy day ahead of myself. Life has been up and down for me as of lately, but its finally looking up! I've gone through divorce, living on the street, losing my job, to getting into a relationship, finding a job at the bottom of a business to only be promoted three times in less than a year to a great stable job! I'm next in line for management too! I have my own apartment, it may be small, but I'm making rent each month so that's all that matters to me. :P
There's ton more going on and that went down. A lot of it is personal, but I'd be willing to share the stories privately for now. All in all I'm in the right spot of my life now.

Congratulations - always nice to hear when someone makes it. I never liked the idea of paying rent, so someday I hope to get a place of my own, that belongs to me personally, rather than somewhere that I need to remove the shelves from when I get kicked out of and even though it was not my choice to move, I still have to make good.
I haven't quite made it yet, but with yearly raises and chance for performance bonuses I'm in a position where if I don't move up to management in the next few years I'm not stuck between a rock and a hard place. I can't quite afford a house yet so I have to pay rent. I guess if I could fine a house where I could make small payments for the next 30 years I could swing it, but then I have all these taxes and interest to worry about. I'm not ready for that.
I have a nice one bedroom, one bath apartment, and a little car that if it holds up for a few years I may just make it.
That bookshelf is awesome by the way. I can't do anything to change the apartment like that because I'll lose my security deposit.

Is not happy with how some members of my family treat me over certain thoughts. I had the misfortune to see the former headteacher of the terrible high school I went to and when my dad was speaking to me about that witch, I said that I'd rather not remember who she was and he was trying to shove his thoughts down my throat by saying "She wasn't a bad person". Does he not remember that I was bullied in that shithole and no-one was even willing to help me out?! The fact that they insist I should respect them in any way is sickening. It didn't help me that night when earlier before my dad was wanting me to have my hair short. These reasons alone killed my mood for the night and it was really too bad since I wanted to enjoy myself for my nan's 75th birthday. You're not going to win me over if you start mocking my life throughout the night as well.
Thankfully I am invited to a new year party in Liverpool so I can stay the fuck away from my family. After last time they are the last people that I want to celebrate new year with.

...Nothing, actually. The USB cable for the external hard drive packed it in so I now have to wait for a replacement. I only got the new power cable for it yesterday. I suppose after five years the cables have moved about a lot and they have been used well. External hard drive still works well which is amazing considering how many bad stories you might come across about them. Thankfully the iPod is still usable so it's a matter of using that for the time being.

I was looking through my profile just now and I happened to notice that little "Other Favorites" box down that's down at the bottom of your favorites page. It dawned on me that it was the same shit I wrote over 8 years ago when I first made this account, thus making it the only part of my profile to remain completely unchanged since its creation. I have no problems with the Broncos, but I'm not a big Peyton Manning fan, or Eli for that matter. (I live in New England -shouldn't be too hard to figure out why.) :P

You'll get there - you have a decent showing of having some sort of long-term game plan.
I have a nice one bedroom, one bath apartment, and a little car that if it holds up for a few years I may just make it.
I might need to get a new car, as the one I have is slightly thirsty - 50 mpg, when I know of cars out there that can do 80. To put it in refuelling terms, one tank a week becomes almost a tank a fortnight.
That bookshelf is awesome by the way. I can't do anything to change the apartment like that because I'll lose my security deposit.
Yeah, but that's what my friends like about their landlady - they speak to her and she lets me do shit like that to her house - they like being long term tenants and she likes having long-term tenants. Keep everyone happy.

Adding furniture helps to tone down the colour somewhat. Hence the canvas on the otherwise bare wall on the right of shot...
I'm satisfied with a 32" flatscreen for the bedroom. Given that I'm hoping to move out soon, I'll have to get a bigger one for the living room :P

I think some people just can't understand what it means to be bullied. They think there are some people who talk bad about you or push you in the hallway and that we all had to deal with such people. While this is true, I think being bullied is something much worse. I can gladly say that, while there where some people who treated me like shit (we all know those persons), I have never been bullied. And I really hope that I never bullied anyone.
I also will never understand why parents care so much about the haircut of their children. Especially when they are in their 20's already. >_>

There is never anything good that comes out of bullying. If it's left ignored, things will only get much worse. That was the cause of some school shootings in the past and while this may not be the case for every country, it only just shows.
