Good luck with that.
And as per usual, we suffered a loss. 10 wicket defeat, we just couldn't get them out. I don't expect you to understand, that's mostly for gamejunkie.
Criket reminds me a bit of Quizzlestick, but Quizzlestick isn't as confusing. So, why don't you just bowl the secret "points swap around bowl" when you are about to lose?
I wish that we had the chance to do that, but being English, we just don't come up with rules as insane as that.

Sorry, but I believe otherwise. After all, you drive on the wrong side of the road!

But you know what they say - That's Numberwang!

Shit just got real.

Yeah, but for ManCity is new. Even in Germany we know what "Fergie time" means. ;)
Fergie time, isn't that when David Beckham gets hit in the face with a football boot that Fergie has just kicked across the dressing room at him?
Not quite, even though that must have looked hilarious.
Well, we only saw Beckham with a couple of sterrastrips across his eyebrow and The Sun went ape about how Fergie was a terrible cunt and so forth.

What I meant was: Must have been interesting to watch that in the changing room. Also, I thought Fergie IS a terrible cunt?

Worst of all, when the whole team gathers around the ref. This is what Fergie complained about. Funny, because if you do a little research on google images then you can find pictures of United players doing the exact same thing. Even though Alex said that United players wouldn't do something like it.

Also: Everton 1-0 United. LOL!
I was around at a Utd fan's home on Monday night. not a fun atmosphere... not until we cracked out the D&D.

Ugh, that reminds me of the LITERAL translation of the name "Dungeons & Dragons" on that one Simpsons episode (the one where Homer is back in College). That's even worse than those incidences where they translated "to swear" in the meaning of "to swear an oath" and not in the meaning of "swear words". Yes, "I never swear" CAN mean "I never swear an oath", but it doesn't make too much sense...

So, how long until the next summer games? Oh right, 4 years...
Yeah, we need to focus on Sochi 2014 now ;)
Well, at least "Sochi" is easier to pronounce than "Pyeongchang".
"Puh-yong-chang" Simple, right?

And now do it in a voice like this.
"Pyeongggggg Channggggg!"

Don't even think the stupid government will actually help the economy.

But helping the construction business to actually build some things (and thus employing more construction workes) does help the economy.

Well, I will resort to it if shit does get really stupid. For some odd reason, Metalocalypse season 3 DVD has gone out of stock entirely for region 2. That really makes no sense at all.
Only solution is to set your DVD player to Region 0.
Or get a region 0 DVD Player. Problems solved for all. My friend had to get a region 0 DVD Player due to all the stuff he was getting that wasn't available in region 2. Meh, the region locking bullshit never made sense to begin with and Nintendo should be ashamed of themselves for being more tight on it. Sony on the other hand, region free for most games!

Most DVD players should have the option to set them to Region 0. But most of the time, this option is not explained in the manual. You could try to google a solution.
Also, region codes are just lame. They where invented because cinema owners started whining about how people might import DVDs before the cinemas even got a chance to show the movie... but in reality, not too many people import DVDs anyway. And because of high shipping costs (and long waiting times) it might actually be cheaper to just go to the cinema anyway.
And I think Sony wants to bring back region codes for newer games and/or the PS4. Lame, I say.

My life has been a bit slow right now. I did have the Manchester meet to look forward to next week but enthusiasm is starting to die out completely. You just can't organise an event without official support.

Messy organisation? I guess if everyone gathers in the same place at the same time is already a decent start.

As for Clock Day, I was hanging out with my friends instead of staying home for it so I missed out on most of it. No saves were claimed that day either.

I guess I was trying out the Co-Op mode in TF2. Pretty fun, but forgetting Clock Day was shameful!

If the DVD has a region code that doesn't match: Tough luck. The BluRay standard supports a region code, but most of the time it's not implemented. Time Warner for example, doesn't implement a region code on their BluRay releases.

What I meant was: Must have been interesting to watch that in the changing room. Also, I thought Fergie IS a terrible cunt?
I wouldn't know - I've never met the guy.

Whenever I see him I think "Oh wow, what a cunt!" so he probably is one.

?!?!

Was listening to: Mötley Crüe - Dr. Feelgood

It's funny how I've never really got into Mötley before, despite knowing them for a pretty long time. Also, ÃoeMLÃ"ÃoeTS.

Cold and rainy, what did you think? :P

I don't know, maybe sunny and warm for summer's standards? D:

Actually, it has been pretty hot last week (30Ã'°C and above), but now it's a bit colder.

That's borderline hot.

Here we are without a single raindrop for about 60 days. Nothing unusual, though the dryness starts to crack the land. And my lips as well.

Back to normal for you?

I guess. I hope, at least. Who knows how much university will demand from me in these following weeks.

I assume he doesn't even care about this place anymore.

We should have something similar to a bat-signal to call him whenever... we feel like :P

There's been a flu outbreak in Texas, I hope he's alright.

Messy organisation? I guess if everyone gathers in the same place at the same time is already a decent start.
Not messy, just not enough interest. Luis said that he'll probably run another meet in January in London. Keyword being probably...

Hmm, if about 10 other people show up, it should be worth it. Smaller crowds aren't bad at all.

As for jobs and such, any news?
Never really is. The country is full of bastards.

Time to start your own business. Video-game reviewer, perhaps?

A Twist In The Myth. It isn't bad, although it's pretty weak.
And yet I'd still give it 8/10.

I'd say 7/10. "Different" from what we'd expect from Blind Guardian. Also, they played here in Brazil a couple of months ago with Grave Digger as the supporting act. Nowhere nearby, dammit!

Well, you'll pass if you say "The English are just being cunts to most of South America" ;) What with the Falklands, or Las Malvinas and Julian Assange and anything else that can be thrown at us. Something will stick.

Ah, nowadays' subjects... Always good to have a discussion on. I guess the general agreement on the Malvinas thing is that Argentina is making an enormous unnecessary fuzz about it that should have never started whatsoever. Nationalist politics. The bastards!

And Assange should suffer some kind of "accident" soon enough.

Worcester Warriors? :P
No, the Warriors are my Rugby Union team, that I support. Cookley Cricket Club is my local village team, that I play for and do a hell of a lot for, besides.

Aside from only playing? Such as administrative stuff?

Eh? I could swear that the NG forums supported umlauts. Anyway, that was "Motley Crue", and the following one was "umlauts" with an umlaut whenever it fit (everywhere).

Thanks to Neil Armstrong. You were an inspiration, whether or not it's true, I really don't care, you gave me a dream and it's shaped my existence a little. RIP.

I can't stand Mirrodin or any of the other Phyrexia etc decks. Ruined afternoons for me, that did...
I can see why you don't like the Phyrexia engine Magic was using but at least that's going to be rotated out. The most you have to worry about Innistrad's engines is transformation cards. I don't use any transformation creatures myself but I like how they work.

I might have liked that, had I been around enough to get the cards when they were available and in vogue. I'm spending all of my money on cricket atm, so not exactly rolling in it...

I'm sure he would, if he would just leave the embassy ;)

Yeah, I do the scoring for the Saturday league second team (though I did it for the first team today - rained out) and arrange meetings, talk to the representatives of the playing fields association, whom we rent the pitch off of, that sort of thing.
