I admit, I do watch stuff online. It's become a bad habit and I would like to buy DVDs. Well, sometimes they don't release it over here or they are ridiculously late (e.g. Futurama volume 6 DVD/blu-ray in March 2013) so I resort to watching online. I've watched too much Simpsons lately because of that but I will get the DVD box sets someday. I promise that!Well, I don't use TV itself to watch TV shows. I would if Futurama wouldn't take a fucking eternity for new episodes to be aired over here. At least Red Dwarf X is only a few months away.I know the problem. It's nearly impossible to watch any US series, since the TV stations decide to butcher the whole season and show the episodes whenever they feel like it. But hey, I just buy the DVDs now and I can enjoy the series's (is that the correct plural of "series"?) in english and don't have to resort to badly translated dubs.
Sometimes I do watch stuff online as well. I was watching nearly the first half of the first Futurama season when I was bored a few months ago (all in one sitting). But sometimes it's hard to find decent stuff to watch online. When I'm extremly lazy, I watch some Columbo online, even though I have all the seaons on DVD. But to watch those, I would've to go upstairs to get them, lol.

Too many footballers complain to the referee. In rugby, the ref just moves it 10 yards further up the pitch for dissent. That would shut most of the pricks up.

Yikes. Maybe trying some different/crazy/extreme tactics might help. Like letting your shitty bowlers or the Wicketkeeper bowl a couple of overs, lull those batsmen into a false sense of security or some whacko tactics like that. Even get your pace bowlers, bowling spin and your spinners bowling pace. You have to try crazy things when things aren't going your way. Anything is better than nothing. You can't keep losing big like that it will eventually become so demoralizing no-one will want to play.

We did - I came on to bowl and my pies were dispatched over the fence, just the same. I felt more sorry for poor Jasper - he's only 12 and he was being tonked as well. His figures were better than mine, just showing how good a bit of left arm spin can be.

Ugh, that reminds me of the LITERAL translation of the name "Dungeons & Dragons" on that one Simpsons episode (the one where Homer is back in College). That's even worse than those incidences where they translated "to swear" in the meaning of "to swear an oath" and not in the meaning of "swear words". Most DVD players should have the option to set them to Region 0. But most of the time, this option is not explained in the manual. You could try to google a solution.
Also, region codes are just lame. They where invented because cinema owners started whining about how people might import DVDs before the cinemas even got a chance to show the movie... but in reality, not too many people import DVDs anyway. And because of high shipping costs (and long waiting times) it might actually be cheaper to just go to the cinema anyway.
And I think Sony wants to bring back region codes for newer games and/or the PS4. Lame, I say.

Don't even think the stupid government will actually help the economy. But helping the construction business to actually build some things (and thus employing more construction workes) does help the economy.
Don't worry, you'll see how our government will be a complete fuckup again for the nth time.
Or get a region 0 DVD Player. Problems solved for all. My friend had to get a region 0 DVD Player due to all the stuff he was getting that wasn't available in region 2. Meh, the region locking bullshit never made sense to begin with and Nintendo should be ashamed of themselves for being more tight on it. Sony on the other hand, region free for most games! Most DVD players should have the option to set them to Region 0. But most of the time, this option is not explained in the manual. You could try to google a solution.
So how about a PS3? I mostly use that for DVD/blu-ray purposes.
Well, the shipping of a single DVD in a case can still be fairly cheap. I'm sure the difference between a CD and a DVD isn't a whole lot.
And I think Sony wants to bring back region codes for newer games and/or the PS4. Lame, I say.
They do that, I will not pick up a PS4. Oh who am I kidding, I probably will get one anyway. With the WiiU's lackluster game line-up so far and whatever the hell Sony and Microsoft do, it looks like I'll be moving more and more to PC gaming for good.
Do you have my username in your checking list for the next 2x10k list Bahamut? Because I've just passed 9000 medals.
Meme not included.
The Review Request club, the Blammers List (update every 15th), and the Protectors List (Update every 1st). My sig has it all.

I said I'd drop by again. HEY AGAIN
As soon as I posted that, the strike ended. And I actually beat Half Life. Winner!

Long enough indeed. Things have been pretty good - I now have a driving license and my own car. I'm in university studying International Relations. And I want to volunteer for the World Cup in 2014. Stuff stuff stuff
How are you peoplez? Was Clock Day a huge disappointment again?I'm well thanks. Hoping to put the cricket team back to the top of the table today. We'll see how that pans out, though :)
Worcester Warriors? :P

Hello Mr. Haggard! How's life up there in Germany?

btw, is gfox still alive?
My life has been a bit slow right now. I did have the Manchester meet to look forward to next week but enthusiasm is starting to die out completely. You just can't organise an event without official support.
Messy organisation? I guess if everyone gathers in the same place at the same time is already a decent start.
As for Clock Day, I was hanging out with my friends instead of staying home for it so I missed out on most of it. No saves were claimed that day either.
I guess I was trying out the Co-Op mode in TF2. Pretty fun, but forgetting Clock Day was shameful!
As for jobs and such, any news?

A Twist In The Myth. It isn't bad, although it's pretty weak.

It's not the covers, but the songs they chose and how they play it. Out of the whole discography I'd probably rate the cover album the worst. But it's still better than any Manowar album. :P

As long as it doesn't effect me, I don't care too much. :P
But I'm surprised about the lack of "lost CDs with sensitve data" in the near past.

If the DVD has a region code that doesn't match: Tough luck. The BluRay standard supports a region code, but most of the time it's not implemented. Time Warner for example, doesn't implement a region code on their BluRay releases.

But it still can be a hassle to buy DVDs overseas.

PC gaming is DEAD! :P

Cold and rainy, what did you think? :P
Actually, it has been pretty hot last week (30°C and above), but now it's a bit colder.
