My time is still free but maybe I could dedicate myself more to that game shop with Magic and other stuff. However, with travel expenses being a fucking ripoff, my trips to Liverpool are rather limited. With a job, I'd actually be fine with this but that obviously isn't the case.

Yeah, but then you wouldn't have time, would you?

Yes, but you are playing the B/P game longer than me.

I've been B/Ping longer than you, or I spend more time per day B/Ping than you?

But what reason should I have to look at the menue, if I've already ordered? It's a) not going to change anything and b) you might get the idea: "Oh, if only I had chosen THIS!"
I like the idea of saying "I like what I ordered, but I can appreciate the culinary delight, the mouth watering anticipation and the presentation of this particular dish here."
Yes, I think I can relate to this.
Even the best chefs can appreciate another chef's work :P At least that's how I think this particular euphemism will work...
I'm not sure about this one. At least I don't know who the chef should be, and what his work should be...

Exactly. I think the metaphor falls apart, because it gets a little incestuous...

Even though the attendance will be minimal, I've booked my nights to stay in Manchester for the mini meet next month.

Regarding all these laptop issues, mine isn't as good as it used to be. Hard to even play most of my Steam games but after using it excessively for four years, I would have expected a lot worse at this point. My friend who got his laptop last year has had to take it in a few times already. I think he has Acer while mine's Toshiba.

I live far away from London and even with my frequent visits, I don't ever check for jobs. My sister's flat is manageable for just a few days.

Turns out I have to send my laptop as well, I'm not trusting Acer to fix my laptop, I'm expecting a few weeks(maybe more) without it and when I get it back, I'll find that they haven't even fixed it, this is what I think anyway, I haven't sent anything off to Acer before so I don't know what they're like.

I think that Samsung did a good job with mine. I'd recommend that people buy a computer from them, as this has been great for years now.

They're alright but the album I have does feel a little bloated and the sound production is as raw as it gets for traditional metal.

Well, thanks for reminding me, I was looking for Walk of Life yesterday and now I've got it to listen to :)
Well, I'm listening to Money for Nothing right now. :P
Next song on the album is "Walk of Life", btw. ;)
It's a good album. I really should get a copy at some stage.

It's not exactly what I could listen to every day, but it sure does have it's great moments.

I gave up looking for CDs in big stores. First of all, the only thing that comes close to HMV is the Saturn store. But second: This store just sucks and always charges high prices (and yet their slogan is something like "being stingy is cool"). I only have a look around if I have some time to waste.
I always wonder why they even bother with charging CDs for high prices. They should know people will mostly get it from Amazon instead for cheaper. At least they are doing a lot with offers so it's better than nothing.

It's hard to be cheaper than Amazon (at least sometimes), but most of the time CDs in stores are so damn overpriced that you really wonder who buys that shit. Sorry, but 20 Euros for just one album is too much.

Chicks for free? Everyone always says getting a girlfriend is free but why is it so hard for me to get one? :P
Maybe most girls are afraid of dragons?
So what about dragonesses? ;)

I don't know any.

So Haggard, the other day you were listening to Dire Straits. That's another band I've been considering getting into.

Listening to:

Inspell - Arcadian Tales: The Egregore

I could understand if it's vinyl but this is CD we're talking about; something that's so damn easy to copy. I really should ask for Amazon vouchers over HMV gift cards for future birthday/Christmas present ideas.

And my furry friend only knows a handful of them. This can't be good.

I live happily ever after?
No, Dresden killed the loup-garou, his lover returned to her pack and the FBI agents, who had been Hexenwulfen all along killed one another, with the boss getting shot in the head by the head of Special Investigations
So I don't live happily ever after. D:

I didn't say that - I've just not been reading your autobiography, on account that it's not been written yet. The Dresden Files, by Jim Butcher is keeping me occupied at the moment :P

I blame the government.
Yes, we've been over this before. I think the best thing that you can do is volunteer work, in the interim.
I'd rather rely on these agencies to give me a job at random, even if it's temporary. I've done enough voluntary work in the past. I expect to be paid for what I do and I'll no longer do anything for others for free.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the problem with the country today. If I said that, I'd not have a cricket team to play for, because no-one would get 11 players out for the team every Sunday. If my dad and the other three blokes who make the pitch up for us said that, we wouldn't have a pitch to play on. If our youth coaches said that, we wouldn't have a promising group of kids coming through to play for us, giving our club a future. We're having fun, yet we're giving something back

I know what you mean - it's the same with me and Pink Floyd. I can't stomach it all the time, but I'm getting into some of their lesser known stuff, along with the classics.

Well, I only have the "Brothers in Arms" album and a few songs here and there from other albums (like "Sultans of Swing"). But I'm not really interested in getting more from them in the near future. Even though you have to give credit to Mark Knopfler for his guitar playing.

Sadly I don't have a way to play back vinyl, so that's why I have to buy CDs. ^^
But yeah, it's not like it takes forever to produce a CD and it's not like it would cost very much to produce a CD. So why are they so damn expensive? Especially when you think about what you actually get: A CD with the music on it, and IF you are lucky the lyrics in the booklet. Speaking of the booklet: Sometimes it's just a simple booklet with the cover on it and maybe the lyrics. But nothing else. At least in the metal genre, most bands have some nicely styled booklets...

I guess it's easier to be a straight male human being in this world.

Oh my god, why do I have to think about "I AM FED UP WITH THIS WORLD!" right now? >_>

Speaking of Pink Floyd: I actually don't have any album from them yet (just the stuff I downloaded years ago, including Wish You Were Here and Another Brick In The Wall).
