How big a bald patch are we talking here? A small hamlet?

It was about the size of a thumb. Right on the downside of my chin. So it was clearly visible, when I didn't shave for about a week.

Man, that's why nice guys always finish last, man!
Seriously? The time it took, I could have gone downstairs, cooked a meal, had a cup of tea, washed up and headed back up for round two and I'd have still have lapped the girl :P

I want to butt in this,

Feel free to

I've been buying the series up until now, I'm wondering to just stop now because it is already going downhill from series 11. So I'm just wondering, when did it get to the point when you had to stop watching the new episodes of the Simpsons? I haven't seen a new episode since around the 350 episode.

I kind of grew bored with it, when I completed my Futurama collection (their first hiatus). I have the first seven seasons and I never seem to be able to sit down and watch the lot back to back.

Are we talking on the neck (i.e. below the jawline), or actually on the curve of your jawbone? If it's the former, I'd suggest that you just shave your neck, leaving a decent beard behind...

That's lame. I used to watch them all the time on MTV. Back in the days, when MTV still was cool.

I keep meaning to watch the show but I never get myself to watch them. Surely there's a DVD boxset out there for Beavis and Butthead.

He should be set for life anyway but that's not to say I won't be getting those DVDs at all. Maybe in a couple of years I'll go ahead and buy them all. That should keep the episodes fresh.

I'd say season 11 was the beginning of the end. While seasons 9 and 10 had some bad episodes, season 11 was where it got really bad from a certain point. I'd say you shouldn't get further DVDs beyond season 11 and even then you are really pushing it.

There was a time when I was really into Futurama, like watching all the series every year, but it has been a long time since I have watched them back to back. Until like the Simpsons, I will be watching them back to back from series 2 to series 10 sometime soon. I don't know what is it, but for me The Simpsons just doesn't age (old series anyway).

You shouldn't overplay anything so give the Futurama DVDs a rest. I may end up watching through them all again once the second half of season 6 is finally released over here. It was meant to be in September but some fucker delayed it to March. Whoever did that needs their eye sockets torn out. As for The Simpsons, you are right that the older episodes never age. You can watch them even now and they'll probably be funnier than when you watched it a few years back.

I don't have any bald spot anymore. It was when I was younger. I don't know when it disappeared, but I know for sure that I still had it, when I was 23.

Also, if you look at this picture, then it was located a bit above the point, where the "anterior belly of digastricus" is pointed out.

Shaving the neck would have worked well - those beards make people look slightly thinner, as well, if that helps...
Oh, so you think I'm looking fat?! :'(

I never said that, I've never seen you before. I was merely suggesting a benefit of it. I'm thin, yet I would always shave my neck, in the event of growing a beard.

No, there are much better places for it, but there are also worse places.
I'm trying to think of the worst place, but I can't think of anything I would consider "the worst". Apart from obvious places like in a septic tank or something like that.
Well, I was thinking the back seat of a car, when a police officer taps on the window and says "Sir, is this your car?" :P
So, what if you answer: "No, and I don't know whose car this is."

I was thinking more along the lines of Beverly Hills Cop - "This is not my bedroom!"

Wow, childhood flashback. I had to chant that during a production of the Flood, when I was in the school choir :P Yes, I was an angel, once.
LOL! Good thing I never went to church, nor was I ever a "member" of this "club".
I can't help my parents, nor their way of bringing me up. I wouldn't change it, as it's opened my eyes and I've made my own mind up.
And I have to thank my parents for never having me baptized. I think you actually have to pay to get out of church... but on the other hand, you can save some money, because you don't have to pay church taxes anymore.

I think it was a good excuse for a family piss up, with my lot.

I still need to buy the new series, but I hate that they're doing two parts for it. It reminds me of Anime DVDs, its like 6 boxsets for one series.

Just see the second half of it as another season. ;)

The commented on Wendy O. Williams and The Plasmatics - The Damned. They liked the video, because... well, it features a nearly naked chick and lots of explosions.

I also remember them commenting on Priest - Breaking the Law. It's just not a good video, heh.

Most metal music videos are indeed bad but then there are some that are so bad it's good. Voivod made a hilarious video with this song.

Uhh what? I'm getting Rush's new album on CD. Strong exceptions of non-CD would be download exclusive or there's an album that's definitely worth having on vinyl.

The CD itself is out next week so no more magazine exclusive bullshit for it. Although, I could have asked for some Flotsam and Jetsam as well.

Yeah, beards tend to be the last thing that develops fully. When my father grew his first beard, the hairs had a different colour in some spots.
If it's any consolation, when I have a crew cut, the hairs on the back of my head do go all mottled, having more than three individual colours and plenty of shades mixed in there.

My hair starts to become gray already. :(

Also, if you look at this picture, then it was located a bit above the point, where the "anterior belly of digastricus" is pointed out.

Well, some people I know started going grey at 17-18, which is really weird. Plus one of the guys I went to school with was completely bald by the time he was 20. You've got it easy.

It's bollocks, basically. I made my own mind up and to be fair, my mum has stood by me and allowed me to make my own decisions, for the most part. Saying I wished to abstain from RE lessons at school didn't go down well, neither did me getting caught reading during them, nor skipping the lessons, to finish my A-Level Physics coursework.
