OK, let's remember that for when we CAN have a game of cricket.
Cricket ball or tennis ball?

Sky is showing some of the races, but I don't get that. I watch the BBC coverage, when it's live. Just got to wait for Monaco.
Don't have Sky either. RTL covers the races for I think over 20 years now.
We've had the BBC do it since the 1950s / 60s and then ITV took over for about a decade in the late 90s, before the BBC got it back 2 years ago. Now F1 has sold out to Sky and the Beeb only gets about 10 races of live coverage.
RTL is a free TV station and they cover the whole race (except for the commercial breaks). I even can watch the HD broadcast for free. But in a few weeks my cable network is going to change that. They want me to pay 4,99 Euros per month so I can watch a few TV stations in HD. Totally not worth it...
It's only worth it if you're going to watch everything in HD, so sport, movies and documentaries that need HD.

And for all this I don't need the "HD basic" packet they are offering, because they rarely show it on the stations in said package (well, except for movies, but I rather watch movies on DVD or BluRay anyway). However, I still have other tv channels in HD, where they show sports and documentaries.

At 3/24/12 01:22 PM, Auz wrote: So, how was Singapore? A place worth going to?

Definitely yes! Especially the food is nice, except for the Shark Fin Soup that I saw at one point, of course. But you have to be carefuly, sometimes the food is so damn spicy that you can't even imagine it. I like to eat spicy food, but once I couldn't finish my meal... should've bought something to drink as well, haha.

Maybe next year we are going to Canada. But this would have to be a much longer holiday than just 10 days. We would need 3 weeks at least.
I imagine a lot is needed to be done in Canada, even a Newgrounds meetup!

Yeah, if we go to Canada we would like to travel from the east coast to the west coast. Something that can hardly be done in 10 days.

To be honest, I think he's stuck there.
His claws aren't stuck (you cannot see them on the picture, but they are there).

YAY!
Hey, we're sorted then.

Now we just need a time and a place.

Because the auras now define who you are.
And before that they defined our voting disposition, which nobody really cared about as well.
But now the aura terms are more meaningful.

That's true. But it won't stop me from changing my aura every time I level up! :P

I'm not intentionally trying to be an asshole when I ask this, but why do people strive for arbitrary online statistics? Literally nobody but the user themselves even cares to take notice and it accomplishes nothing. Time would be better served elsewhere, wouldn't you agree?

I realize my level and whistle level etc I use to strive for these things and have long since stopped caring, although I do still deposit exp, because why not.

The same reason that we strive for statistics elsewhere. Human endeavour is largely pointless, after all.

Literally nobody but the user themselves even cares to take notice and it accomplishes nothing.

No-one's asking you to take any notice. If you don't want to be here, there are hundreds of thousands of other threads for you to waste your existence in.

Time would be better served elsewhere, wouldn't you agree?

Why should it? Sure, one could use a cricket bat to hurt someone but that's not your intention. Just explaining "We're playing some cricket" is good enough, right?
Yeah, but I just have one of those looks about me.

So I've shared my input on the tank awards 2011 nominations so far. Had to be critical here.

Listening to:

Well, there's other places I could go as well. They're only after boring places for the most part.
Yeah, I know what you mean. Why is it that parents always vacation on the most boring places?

Ages ago they had chosen Florida. To be fair, it is an expensive place to have a holiday for but why not go with places that are actually exciting?

Maybe I could have reasoned with him better.
You might have a point there.

As a dragon, they can understand others alike, although I'm not the one having a flat face on the ground which anyone can walk on.

It's actually really really small in comparison to other countries.
But still too big to just say: "Hey, let's meet up in England!" without specifying it any further.

London? Manchester? Liverpool?

I have mod aura all the time but you don't see me complaining.
But you simply don't have a choice.

Oh but I do. *resigns*

From what I read about it, it was a good cryptographic system in theory, but as so often, the flaws where the users. The only real flaw Enigma had and that I can think of was, that it never mapped a character to the same character (ie, it would never map the unencrypted "a" to an encrypted "a" and so on). Why is this a flaw? If you know the word "Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" is hidden in the encrypted text, then you can rule out any combinations where a single character would be mapped to the same character, making it easier to decrypt the whole text.

Mistakes the users made? Well, of course working the Enigma wasn't really simple, and users are lazy by default. So they used very simple keys to encrypt their messages. Also, being law-abiding germans in the military, man messages contained the words "Oberkommando der Wehrmacht" or closed with the words "Heil Hitler".

Good for us that they wheren't smarter with their encription methods. ^^

But if a man is fluent in so many languages, you should give him the ability to speak them!

And I think he can speak most of them really well. At least his german is REALLY good. He has a slight accent, but if I would just listen to him speaking german, not knowing who he was, I would never guess that it's not his first language.

HARD AS IRON! COLD AS STEEEL!

The only Iron and Steel reference I can come up with is summed up by song lyrics:

"Sunlight, falling on your steel,
Death in life is your ideal.
Life is like a wheel!"

Listening to:

Darkthrone - Under a Funeral Moon. Despite the minimalism of the artworks for their earlier albums, they actually fit with black metal music.
