Yeah, I understand. I hope you guys win though - I hate Man City almost as much as Man Utd!

Also - on a totaly unrelated sidenote - I still think it's hilarious how "Worcester" is pronounced "Wuuster". It's like writing "ghoti" and saying "It's pronounced 'fish'".
ENGLISH LANGUAGE! Y U MAKE NO SENSE!

Have you not met my friend, Mr. Cholmondly-Warner? It's pronounced "Chum-lee", but it doesn't look like it :P

I love heading particularly American tourists asking for directions to "Lee-ah-ming-ton Spar", as opposed to "Lemm-ing-ton Spar" Leamington is a lovely place. Worcester is just pronounced as that by the locals. Your could probably get away with pronouncing it as "Worster", but our accent changes it to Wusster.

When you have three episodes running with at least one Monty Python clip thrown in (as great as it is), that's when you should start freshening up your show a bit. At this point there shouldn't even be anything for his NC videos to review.
I didn't watch Suburban Knights, no. I was interested, but I just never got to watching it and forgot about it.

Yeah, it may have Spoony in it but he doesn't save the film that much. I will say that some of the better parts of the film were actually from his appearances but then you had the idiotic writers overdoing the jokes which ended up ruining them.

Anyway, I remember most of his older videos were pretty good and well watchable. He had decent opinions on things and occasionally he had some good jokes.

By old, you could mean his sketches from 2006 or before. :P Now that's old school TGWTG. Even when considering his main videos, NC and Bum Reviews were at their best in 2008. 2009 still had plenty of moments but 2010 had many forgettable videos. Both of these characters are drawn out at this point.

Oh, and when Doug has to make a reference to My Little Pony, you know he jumped the fucking shark.

He was meant to get something else out according to his Twitter. He seems to do fine with the vlogs but I don't watch them since I don't need him to go on for an hour about one film. That's another reason why I stopped watching NC and Linkara since they couldn't justify 30 minutes of reviewing one thing.
Well he did a one and a half hour review of Twilight: Breaking Down recently (together with Linkara and JewWario live in video chat), which was waaaay too long in my opinion. I did actually sit through the whole thing (not in one sit though) because it was pretty funny. But I really hope he isn't going to make this standard, because in that amount of the time I'd rather go watch the film myself instead.

I thought 50 minutes of trash talking Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was enough. I went through that but there was a lot of time spent on "Is movie X better or worse than Transformers?" More and more I focus on other video makers for genuine reviews. A lot I've seen are straight to the point and don't drag for 30 minutes.

He's a review editor for Destructoid and does weekly videos for his Jimquisition series. It's like my gaming rants but better. His videos are usually around 5 minutes so it's all within decent timing. Well, he can't have them for long considering he has a lot to do on Destructoid as well.
Oh I see. Well if it's only 5 minutes I might as well watch a few. Any recommendations?

I'll throw in some videos. Boycotting and the current state of Square Enix are good examples of what he does on a weekly basis.

It was a little more than that. :P
An additional 15 endings? :p

Well I haven't seen the match because I don't care much for the friendlies to be honest (matches are usually boring as hell).
Yeah, haven't watched it either, just some parts every now and then.

I couldn't even find a summary on Youtube.

But from what I heard Germany fully deserved the victory. Holland has really been playing crap lately. Lost to Sweden, tied to Switzerland, lost to Germany... if they play like this at the EC I doubt they'll make it through the group phase.
I was surprised how weak the holland team was. I mean, they just CAN'T be happy with losing 3:0 against one of their biggest rivals, even if it was just a friendly match.
But don't worry about the EC. I think Holland is a lot like Germany: Playing like crap just prior to a tournament, starting very weak into the tournament but performing "better than expected" later on. ^^

Well for one thing, our defense is fucking terrible. We have an amazing offense as you might know, but we lack solid defenders.

And yeah, I do think a lot of people in our country would've loved it if we beat Germany. I did read some letters in the paper the next day in which people were complaining about how bad we played.

AIM is shit. Also, they had that annoying ad back in the early 00's with that yellow man making noises...

I'm surprised that Blair didn't go for the title "Grand Vizier"

But yeah, a lot of politicians are opportunistic scumbags. However, surely they can't be any worse than the Italians. Heck, at least they threat women respectfully in the UK (last time I checked).
Well, if they've done all of the housework, we respect them.

Yeah, I understand. I hope you guys win though - I hate Man City almost as much as Man Utd!
I will sit between ManCity fans, though, most likely with a City strip on. My brother is a City fan (and he was before the Sheik came and bought the club). ^^

Are you not-so-secretly cheering on Bayern Munchen?

I love heading particularly American tourists asking for directions to "Lee-ah-ming-ton Spar", as opposed to "Lemm-ing-ton Spar" Leamington is a lovely place. Worcester is just pronounced as that by the locals. Your could probably get away with pronouncing it as "Worster", but our accent changes it to Wusster.
Last week I was browsing through the english football pyriamid and found a small town called "Ucking". Me and my friends wondered how that should be pronunced. "Ucking" with a "u" as in "university" or like "Fucking" without the "F"? ^^

If one was being posh, then the suggestion of You-king seems appropriate. However, the pronunciation of Uh-king would be my first guess.

That sounds like Xmas - we usually give thanks when either we leave or the family leaves us for another year :P

In all seriousness though, I might have reasons to be very thankful, or very sombre this Xmas. I might have to get the old black tie and white shirt combo out twice before the festive season and that's not something nice to look forward to.

He was a lot better than John Major. That much is a given. Then, he started getting greedy for more power and should probably have relinquished the reigns to Gordon Brown earlier... then the situation would have been better and perhaps a new leader for the Labour Party might have been David Miliband and he'd have been in charge.

Of course, this is a massive what if scenario and seems unlikely to ever happen now.

Too bad. I think the biggest shock would be to meet each other in Liverpool and it all succeeds. Providing no interviews are in my way, 2:30 at Lime Street would be excellent.

By the looks of it by tomorrow morning I shall have finally reached the rank of Private First Class. It's not a particularly high rank at all, however this kinda stands out to me as the first intentional rank up I have experienced since 2009, when I reached Police Captain and after 475 or so more BP disregarded the UJ section until a spammer had their account deleted, adding blams to my account for the fourty or so flashes of theirs that I had downvoted and getting me out of the Police ranks, thus ending my time with the NGPD, after I had effectively given up on B/Ping. After a few days of moderate voting, I once again became inactive, however in the past two days I have accumulated around 90 points, proving that just checking back occasionally is all that's necessary to begin rising through the ranks again, as I intend to do. :D

Wow, someone that wants the Level 49 icon. You hear that, Bahamut?

Supreme Commander is reachable. Just keep voting and you'll get it. Don't forget everyone on this site starts with 0. The Level comes with deposits, so voting for the flahs will get you there and Level 18 is just down the road for you.

the bat should be lvl 7 cause the whip is better then it

Nah, I prefer the bat. It's more traditional.

Oh come on, 4chan must go first, silly. Besides, I'm still here.

What, not even the nurse one? :P
Doesn't quite work in this case.

Oh well.

Yeah, you should be the second to reach 4x30k or maybe it'll be Gagsy. She's at least halfway for 30k blams.
I'll have to start posting more. Mr. Gilbert, prepare the SS Spam - we are about to launch!
Wait, SS? That could mean ANYTHING!

Starship, of course. I'm not taking the Third Reich version of the SS, that would be insane.

Now we have another convert to the cause. The more people like you that join us, the more chance we have of actually getting rid of some of the shit that happens on the portal these days!

I hate to burst your bubble but the staff will be removing the bow and arrow for the redesign. It's clear that it's hated by too many for it to stay.

I look forward to his disappointment.

The /x/ board is amusing but that's about it. Surely you haven't forgotten everything that's wrong with deviantART.

Too bad, SS could have referred to my site.
