That's right, my flash has two other medals to find. Thanks for the inspiration! Now find the other two medals.O.o
I've found 2 of the 3, now I'm stumped with the other one.
Alright then. I look forward to it.True that. Say, will you be making a recap for the meet?Yes - this virus has laid me low, plus I'm trying to work through it (silly boy!), but I hope to get something sorted at some stage, as with the photos.

I came across a fair amount of good stuff. I'll have to check back on the highlights from Clock Day.Well I'm just glad a lot of Clock Day related submission were listed in the top 10 of 15/08. I believe that was different last year.
Yeah, the top 10 for Clock Day were all relevant submissions. Thankfully mine didn't win but it is high up on the collection page right now. So undeserving, though.
And is it even worth improving the technology for 3D effects?I don't know. I suppose it could be cool if you could see holograms and stuff without glasses, but I don't think it will do the films that much good.
It'll probably hurt your eyes that way, lol.
Hell, try thinking of five films worth watching from this year and five more for next year. Well, 2012 does have a few things to offer such as The Dark Knight Rises, The Hobbit (Part 1) and Pixar's Brave is looking good. I'm not quite sure about the Spider-Man reboot just yet but I'll at least give it a shot. The Avengers is another maybe so that makes it... FIVE!Are they all in 3D?
Who cares if they are?
I thought Christopher Nolan prefered to stick to 2D so I would expect that The Dark Knight Rises will be in old fashioned 2D.
2D is the way to go.
Ah well, save it for leftovers then. Actually, the offer for the free games might be too late for you now.I think it is, yes. Stores here have already anticipated on the price cuts, of course pretending that it's "A UNIQUE OFFER".
Hahahaha, obviously it's not.
I actually liked the Sphere Grid system. It combined the skill learning with stat increasing in one shot. Sure, navigation could be better but it was the best way to max your stats. Some games like FFVII and FFVIII made stat maxing tedious. Sure, getting 255 for luck in FFX is tedious as hell but at least the others are easy to reach.Oh well, the luck stat was never that big of a deal to begin with.
In FFX, it actually meant something. It added to the accuracy, evasion and critical hits so it was vital for the dark aeons.
In FFVII I remember it was quite tedious to morph all those enemies in that sunken... ga.... something, but it seemed to be the only way to max your stats.
Yeah, that was the only way to max stat. You only needed to focus on power source and maybe the odd stuff from the others.

I better look into that. HMV does free shipping for CDs so I could do with pre-ordering Anthrax's new album and I might get something from Sepultura, Deicide or Cannibal Corpse (first album only).
You may not be lucky next time.On the other hand, if you want to crash my party with Manowar, this would mean, you'd be AT my party. You know, if you ever make it to my birthday party, I'd listen to a whole Manowar album with you.

Verliesen und Drachen?Kerker und Drachen. Also, the plural of Verlies would be Verliese.
Oh I see, I see. I looked it up and it did say Verliese, but plural with an N seemed more logical to me (cause in Dutch it's also usually an extra 'en' or 'n' for the plural).
Yeah, the literal meaning is correct I suppose. However, it's a very uncommon, perhaps a bit old-fashioned insult. I'm sure if you seriously insulted someone with 'geitenbreier' you'd be laughed at :pSounds a bit like "Geiermeier" (I hope "The Little Vampire" is known in the Netherlands...)
The Little Vampire? Doesn't ring any bells here.
Hair Metal? Makes me think of bands like Van Halen and Kiss.Right on!
But isn't that genre called "Glamour Rock"?
Not only that, any small backpack can carry up to at least 20 items. No matter how big or heavy they are."Wait, where did I leave my bazooka..."
"Oh there it is, in the front pocket, next to the med kit, C4 explosives, machine guns and my trustworthy swiss knife."
Well it's mostly about a bunch of presentors going to France or some place to talk with Dutch people on vacation there and check out the area and the camping site and stuff. Not exactly top class television. But they do show a lot of caravans, right? :P
Oh yeah I do think they do that. Like... rate caravans and all. Kinda like how they rate cars ("this one is modestly priced and is very child friendly.")
Well here they are usually on the 4th, 5th and 7th channel so I suppose it makes sense. SBS6 is of course the 6th channel on most TVs.Much like Pro7 is on the 7th channel here.
But I was more aiming for the names of the stations. If we have RTL and RTL 2 and you have RTL 4, where the hell is RTL 3?
I have no idea. Maybe it went bankrupt?
Of course laughing without twitching a single muscle in his face :pYeah, I wonder how he does that.
Well he IS an ex-CIA agent of course, and martial arts expert, and his old partner betrayed him, and they kidnapped his wife and his daughter, and he has to deal with his past...
Really? Seems odd to me, because again, the laughter pretty much always sounds similar. But if someone else says so...Maybe it was always the same audience?
Hehe, you think they could get them to watch hundreds of episodes live?
Heh, I would definitely watch it without the laughing track if given the option.Yeah, that's what we did. Most of the time I know where to laugh without a laughing track. ^^
Yeah. But they still add pauses then? Or do they cut those out?
Lol, yeah Al always gets the most applaus. Christina Applegate gets a good deal of yelling and whistling too when she comes on.Well yeah, she looks pretty nice. ^^
Indeed, she does :p
Me neither.*artificial laughter from an imaginary audience*
I don't think I ever watched his show.Me neither.
*even more artificial laughter*
Alright, if you say so.*artificial laughter*
All right, all right! Can someone PLEASE get rid of this laughing box?
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*
No I guess it doesn't, but at least it would make a bit more sense that they need a translator. That's just the kind of stuff you have to live with if you watch dubbed films. Advantage subtitles, I guess.
Yep.
Oh, so there were only two then.Yes, two kaisers named Wilhelm. But there where also two Kings in the Kingdom of Württemberg who where also named Wilhelm I. and Wilhelm II.

I don't blame you. They never pushed themselves hard with their musical capabilities. If anything, they're more repetitive than DragonForce. Well he IS an ex-CIA agent of course, and martial arts expert, and his old partner betrayed him, and they kidnapped his wife and his daughter, and he has to deal with his past...Of course laughing without twitching a single muscle in his face :pYeah, I wonder how he does that.
Sound totally plausible to me.
Hehe, you think they could get them to watch hundreds of episodes live?Really? Seems odd to me, because again, the laughter pretty much always sounds similar. But if someone else says so...Maybe it was always the same audience?
Well, if they where inmates in a prison...
Yeah. But they still add pauses then? Or do they cut those out?Heh, I would definitely watch it without the laughing track if given the option.Yeah, that's what we did. Most of the time I know where to laugh without a laughing track. ^^
It was never taped in front of a live audience, so no need to stop there.
Indeed, she does :pLol, yeah Al always gets the most applaus. Christina Applegate gets a good deal of yelling and whistling too when she comes on.Well yeah, she looks pretty nice. ^^
But I always liked Peg better. XD
*BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!*Me neither.*artificial laughter from an imaginary audience*
I don't think I ever watched his show.Me neither.
*even more artificial laughter*
Alright, if you say so.*artificial laughter*
All right, all right! Can someone PLEASE get rid of this laughing box?
*pulls plug*
That should take care of it.
At the time when Germany still consisted of hundreds of little kingdoms?Oh, so there were only two then.Yes, two kaisers named Wilhelm. But there where also two Kings in the Kingdom of Württemberg who where also named Wilhelm I. and Wilhelm II.
Confusing.
Well, the Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation existed until 1871, then the German Reich was founded. Wilhelm II. of Würtemberg was King from 1891 to 1918.
But my historical knowledge of Germany starts with 1933 and ends with 1945. 13 years in school and all I ever learned about Germany was how the Third Reich was founded and how it ended (and everything in between). It's a real shame.
Huh? Next time I should include everything into one post and not leave one tab open even though the replies are all ready...

In my opinion they earn they are the worst band ever (except for Manowar who are non-competitive :P )
But... I'm making you listen to Manowar.Wait, what is this? It's an invitation to all of my future birthday parties. :P
It's the price I would gladly pay if you'd ever make it to my birthday party. :P
He really should, you know. That guy is a complete and utter douchebag.Sure is. If he just could quit newgrounds (like he did with the BBS so long ago) I could finally pass him in Exp.
And so should Ultor.
I think I'll cuddle a Dratini now. Then cuddle Bub and Bob even more.Okay, that sounds good.
I'm not into Pokemon.
thought i'd ask, did anyone else make an unexpectedly huge gain in rank between a couple of days ago and now?

I knew something was odd about Odyssic making quite a jump in EXP ranks today. After seeing you getting a jump in EXP ranks as well, I checked up the EXP list and it turns out a bunch of alts from Afro_Stud (including some accounts by others he was depositing for) have an EXP rank of 0 meaning the accounts have been deactivated. The only real problem I have with this is that if the accounts are locked out, some of them were actually legitimate accounts.

i was just now looking through your EXP users list, as i remembered a few minutes after making my initial post that Afro_Stud had a bunch of high-leveled alts, so i went to several of those profiles and noticed that.
well, at least now i have an answer, but why would those accounts get deactivated? as far as i know, they weren't breaking any rules.

That doesn't say you're not allowed to have let other people deposit for you. (assuming you're implying Afro_Stud does) It says you cannot be on somebodies account without their permission.

It's not against the rules, but honestly it's really not fair for other people to have that many high level alts.
The first time I met newgrounds was just a year after I had "discovered" neopets, and my brother introduced me to it (He was 11 at the time). Coincidentally, he had "discovered" flash at round about the same time, and ever since I found out that I could submit flash to newgrounds, I started learning it and signed up instantly to make sure I didn't miss out on anything.
I started reviewing a lot back then, but my reviews were also a bit immature, but they were the majority -- I didn't have more than 30 reviews the whole of this year.
The real time when I actually started "learning" flash was when he was making a small beat-em-up and was stuck at a problem; I suggested something -- I didn't know anything about it at the time -- and magically, it worked.
Soon after, I found out AS2 was very easy to learn (self explaining code) and so I started creating flash. I occasionally tried to draw, around very early 2009 (I was still 10 at the time) and guess what? No surprise, I failed. People didn't want to see my userpage, and they didn't know who I was either. I got PMs from people stating that some of them hated me and that I should leave, but as the person I was and is, I just continued.
Later on, in late 2010, I faced an issue : I was level 9, I didn't feel like going on Newgrounds at all, and I felt like plain quitting; I had submitted good flash, and then got some good scores....as well as PMs from users who liked my flash. Of course, my flash skill had improved since 2008. I wouldn't actually want to quit, so I just didn't log on....for 6 months.
That, was the time I realized the BBS. I had logged on to the BBS before, but at that time, I was highly discouraged from posting , and I didn't feel the need to actually go there; I was considered a noob, pond scum, whatever you wanted to call me. Later, I just decided to use the BBS again, because there was nothing else to do, and I was truly bored -- remember, this time I considered newgrounds as every normal site -- so I thought, "hey, since there's nothing to do, why not just browse through the BBS? It's been 2 years!" and since that, my life on NG changed.
I got a tip from some users about apparent "post counts", and so I was suddenly, out of the blue, from nowhere, known by little, to a mass-poster on the BBS. (Specifically, I think Narcissy was the one)
After the first 1000 posts, my posts per day decreased, and I heard of the 10k forum. I then felt like shooting for it, and so I started to post again, this time my interest for Newgrounds increasing cumulatively, but at the same time taking post quality into account.
Over time, I became known to Newgrounds. Of course, I recieved my fair share of bans as well, and I think it amounted to 25 days in the whole of 2011 (for now), and not all so-called "publicity" I recieved was good -- every flash that I submitted now on was zero bombed, bringing the score from 3x to 2x, but I'm fine with it, as long as they're around 2.7.
3 years on Newgrounds!

This is one reason why I want to stop depositing on all my alts eventually. I'll put them at certain levels and leave them at that.

He has at least 30 and then some accounts that others relied on him to deposit for them. A few other accounts have been shot down as well since I gained two ranks unexpectedly. I'm hoping they will recover their accounts since it is their accounts and what I gained just now aren't official.
