What I actually like very much about the channel is that it's no talk and only music with a newsbreak every 30 minutes. No boring, longwinded conversations between DJs, no commercial break every 15 minutes, no other interruptions. After 23:00 it's especially great because they'll just play on and on with no newsbreaks anymore either.
Ah, a proper music station - one that cares about the music, rather than the DJ's ego.
Yeah thank God.

I just can't stand listening to those DJs that love to hear themselves talk. When I turn on the radio, I want to hear music and not a load of often unfunny, boring bla bla.

The DJ wasn't only the person to play the music, they had to make you feel like there was someone else there, otherwise you could just play the music yourself - I used to love listening to John Peel overnights on Radio 1, mostly because he got a bit shirty with people that kept requesting Pearl Jam. It made the night shifts go nicely.

Lol WTF? That's just ridiculous. Those things are so outdated and the technology was pretty crappy in general. Maybe they installed it for those few old folks who can't go without their collection of tapes?
I think it was a sales rep car at one point, thus at 3 years old, it had 70,000 miles on the clock. It can't have been a high ranking one, mind.
Ah. I guess that must've reduced the price by quite a bit.

About £4,000. The car itself would have sold for maybe £18,000 from new, IIRC.

Yeah aren't the members of Iron Maiden, Metallica etc. all well past their 60's at this point? It won't be too long before they all kick the bucket, end up in a wheelchair or in need a walking frame. And I haven't really noticed any newer metal bands becoming a bit more mainstream =/
So long as they don't stop - they will go out at the top, like Dio!
Though you can wonder if that's their peak.

Still selling out tours? I think that says a lot about Maiden.

So I take it you wake up at like... 6:30 or something then?
7.00 is when the alarm goes off. Sometimes I wake up earlier, sometimes it takes me a few attempts to wake up properly.
So you do a lot in one morning then. Well if you don't take a shower every morning like I do then I guess you don't need much time to get dressed, brush your teeth and look alright.

A shower takes 10 minutes, if I wash my hair.

Because they saved money on stirring the beer before they bottle it? :p
My theory is, that they buy out the beer from any other brewery that they didn't use (because it didn't meet quality standards) and fill that into their cans.
That, or they gather all the leftover beer from empty beer bottles, throw it in a barrel, steer for a bit and then sell it.

That's a good theory as well.

I dunno, I just can't see living with out taste. I know not all vegan food is bland, but when you cut out meat and milk products it really limits your choices.

Well I wouldn't exactly call vegan food 'bland', because it's just how you spice it and what you use in recipies. But it's different and it definitely takes some time to get used to eating certain things without animal products.

I found that once you get used to it, you'll learn to appreciate vegetarian and vegan food more and I now even find some things better without the meat. Like spaghetti with pasta sauce for example. Last time I ate that with minced meat (like I usually did) I was actually a little disgusted.

Yeah I guess we could use one. I mean, food like burritos and tacos aren't unpopular here and I can't even think of one place where they sell them.
Well there you have it Auz, your calling in life. Start a Tex-Mex food chain in your country and you'll be rich in no time.

Basically, we have lots of experience (we've each voted on 5 submissions per day for the past 5-6 years) and we've also boosted out Blam and Save numbers, by voting on the submissions that are under judgement in the Portal. (The ones in purple)

It takes time, but it's worth it, I feel.

Their latest Album, The Final Frontier was released last year. Checking out their discography, it's their first UK Platinum album since Piece of Mind in 1983 and their most popular album in a US release.

Oh looking at their discography they are still actively writing albums. Looks like Final Frontier has been their best album in Holland yet, followed by Seventh son of a seventh son.

Ah, so you're fairly quick. I usually take 20 minutes or so and then take my sweet time to dry myself. I don't like hurrying in the shower for some reason.
When I play sport, I need to wash quickly and get dressed and on my way - if I wait around, I'll end up having to sweep out the changing room.

Lol, that's how they did it at my sports club too. Wasn't a very good rule when we were kids though. One person always got picked on and they threw his stuff outside the changing room so he was the last one to finish.

Yeah. He does have a primary weapon that shoots needles.

A needle shooter? Awesome!

So is the community any good then or am I better off playing without live chatting?
It depends which server you're on. The worst community I've come across is Bestinclass servers. The map has obstacle courses for all classes except Medic. Some of them are very tricky. If you want to know how hard it is, you have to be in the pitch dark with only Pyro's flamethrower to guide you through.

I'll avoid that one then.

By the way, I'm trying to download TF2 right now, but... (see pic below). I got to 1.1GB pretty fast and for the past hour it's constantly been like this.

I guess their servers must be overloaded or something. My internet connection is fine and generally reaches speeds of about 400kb/s on average (1.4MB/s was the max for this download so far) =/

We germans have a fine sense of humour in general. You just seem to know the wrong kind of people. :P
I think it's because English humour doesn't translate well into German.

I think that's the case with all humour around the world. It just doesn't translate too well into other languages.

You have to go find someone who can draw, then.
Maybe it can be a birthday present?

Maybe, but you'll still need someone who can draw that picture. :P

I don't know many that do that.
Maybe it's just some kind of "blue car phenomenon" for me then.
Blue car? Explain.

Copy & Paste from somewhere else:
Blue car syndrome is the popularized term for a very common phenomenon. It is the experience we all have of having having a specific observation, idea, experience, etc., come into our consciousness and then having it seem that the same observation begins to occur with increased frequency. So, you buy a blue car and then all the sudden your seeing blue cars everywhere. I think the best explanation is that you never paid much notice to the experience until it became personalized. Obviously, there have been blue cars all the time, but until you bought one yourself, they didn't register. Once you owned one, it became, "Hey, there's a car the same colour as MINE."

So, what I meant is: I saw one or two live DVDs/live albums with "destroying Wacken" (or "armageddon") in the title and didn't like it. Now when I see another DVD/live album with a similar name I think: "Oh gosh, can't you be a little more creative?" even though there might be not that many live DVDs/albums out there with such a name.

Newgrounds is gay. :P
The internet is gay. :P
YouTube is gay. :P

Everything is gay. :P

Oh wait, we already had that.
I thought we didn't cover that yet.

I thought we already mentioned that Anal Cunt song.

I need my legs and pelvis to play cricket. Shameful, isn't it?

That's stupid. What next, no jerking off because you need to save your wrist to swing the cricket bat?

I found that once you get used to it, you'll learn to appreciate vegetarian and vegan food more and I now even find some things better without the meat. Like spaghetti with pasta sauce for example. Last time I ate that with minced meat (like I usually did) I was actually a little disgusted.

Spaghetti without meat to me feels empty. Even the best spaghetti sauce needs some enhancement with meat. I'm sure if I could believe that the ends justified the means in that not eating 'self polluting' foods like meat and milk products were beneficial then yeah I might get use to it but for me that isn't going to happen anytime soon.

How exactly do you coexist with someone who is vegan? Is it awkward when you are eating a big juicy steak in front of her?

Damn! I should get some investors on the phone right away.

I'm sure Casualty and other Newgrounders in the region can help out.

I highly recommend it. If you ever got the opportunity of eating there, you won't regret it.

The nearest one to me is about 50 miles away in another state. A little too far to grab something to eat. I really hope they expand some more in my region cause as you say the do make good burgers.
