It made the night shifts go nicely.
I just can't stand listening to those DJs that love to hear themselves talk. When I turn on the radio, I want to hear music and not a load of often unfunny, boring bla bla.
I don't think I get it all that often, to be honest. Anyway, if you don't like it, just skip a track.
£4,000 is a fortune to me, but I guess for a fairly new car it's a nice price. Keep it in a good condition and you won't even lose that much when you sell it.Ah. I guess that must've reduced the price by quite a bit.About £4,000. The car itself would have sold for maybe £18,000 from new, IIRC.
Um yeah... about that. I've got some repair work outstanding and I've got to discuss it with the insurers - new rear quarter panel and bumper -.-
Yeah that's quite impressive, but isn't the 80's like the time when they were really at their best? They aren't writing any new albums either, are they?Though you can wonder if that's their peak.Still selling out tours? I think that says a lot about Maiden.
Their latest Album, The Final Frontier was released last year. Checking out their discography, it's their first UK Platinum album since Piece of Mind in 1983 and their most popular album in a US release.
Ah, so you're fairly quick. I usually take 20 minutes or so and then take my sweet time to dry myself. I don't like hurrying in the shower for some reason. So you do a lot in one morning then. Well if you don't take a shower every morning like I do then I guess you don't need much time to get dressed, brush your teeth and look alright.A shower takes 10 minutes, if I wash my hair.
When I play sport, I need to wash quickly and get dressed and on my way - if I wait around, I'll end up having to sweep out the changing room.

Basically, we have lots of experience (we've each voted on 5 submissions per day for the past 5-6 years) and we've also boosted out Blam and Save numbers, by voting on the submissions that are under judgement in the Portal. (The ones in purple)

Blue car? Explain.I don't know many that do that.Maybe it's just some kind of "blue car phenomenon" for me then.
Copy & Paste from somewhere else:
Blue car syndrome is the popularized term for a very common phenomenon. It is the experience we all have of having having a specific observation, idea, experience, etc., come into our consciousness and then having it seem that the same observation begins to occur with increased frequency. So, you buy a blue car and then all the sudden your seeing blue cars everywhere. I think the best explanation is that you never paid much notice to the experience until it became personalized. Obviously, there have been blue cars all the time, but until you bought one yourself, they didn't register. Once you owned one, it became, "Hey, there's a car the same colour as MINE."
So, what I meant is: I saw one or two live DVDs/live albums with "destroying Wacken" (or "armageddon") in the title and didn't like it. Now when I see another DVD/live album with a similar name I think: "Oh gosh, can't you be a little more creative?" even though there might be not that many live DVDs/albums out there with such a name.

I found that once you get used to it, you'll learn to appreciate vegetarian and vegan food more and I now even find some things better without the meat. Like spaghetti with pasta sauce for example. Last time I ate that with minced meat (like I usually did) I was actually a little disgusted.
Spaghetti without meat to me feels empty. Even the best spaghetti sauce needs some enhancement with meat. I'm sure if I could believe that the ends justified the means in that not eating 'self polluting' foods like meat and milk products were beneficial then yeah I might get use to it but for me that isn't going to happen anytime soon.
How exactly do you coexist with someone who is vegan? Is it awkward when you are eating a big juicy steak in front of her?
Damn! I should get some investors on the phone right away.

But it's different and it definitely takes some time to get used to eating certain things without animal products.Spaghetti without meat to me feels empty. Even the best spaghetti sauce needs some enhancement with meat. I'm sure if I could believe that the ends justified the means in that not eating 'self polluting' foods like meat and milk products were beneficial then yeah I might get use to it but for me that isn't going to happen anytime soon.
I found that once you get used to it, you'll learn to appreciate vegetarian and vegan food more and I now even find some things better without the meat. Like spaghetti with pasta sauce for example. Last time I ate that with minced meat (like I usually did) I was actually a little disgusted.
Well again it really depends on how you prepare it and what you put in it I think. We usually start with baking garlic and onion, then pour in the chopped tomatoes, then add some veggies and then finish it off with some herbs like basil, oregano and thyme.
How exactly do you coexist with someone who is vegan? Is it awkward when you are eating a big juicy steak in front of her?
The only time I might eat a big juicy steak is when we're at a restaurant, but we don't go there often. And she's alright with me eating meat. The last thing she wants is be an annoyance to other people with her diet so she'll let me have my steak if I want it.
Damn! I should get some investors on the phone right away.I'm sure Casualty and other Newgrounders in the region can help out.
No I need Luis to come down. He's Mexican so he should be an expert on setting up a burrito business.

I managed to complete the download this morning.
I also had some trouble with the game not starting up. Then I found one solution online that helped at first (out of dozens other people posted (apparently it's a very common problem with no standard solution)). So I played it for a couple of hours this afternoon, but I'd like to play it again now and I'm getting the same shit + errors that the game is inavailable =/
I guess their servers must be overloaded or something. My internet connection is fine and generally reaches speeds of about 400kb/s on average (1.4MB/s was the max for this download so far) =/I'm guessing Steam's servers are still overloaded by the amount of players who are wanting to download the game. Valve never really prepare for major traffic.
Yeah I think they're getting a huge amount of traffic around this hour, when it's early evening for the UK'ers and the Americans have been out of bed for a while. I think that game inavailable error I mentioned above is caused by their servers overloading.
Best time I can play it seems to be around late morning - early afternoon...

But I don't know, I'm fine with listening to that radio station and hear a nice variety of music that I don't really feel like having on my iPod.Well, each person has a different setup for how they play their music in the car. I think this system works well and I'll continue to do so until I get a new car that allows me to connect the iPod straight in :P
Oh but for the car I would love to have a system with which I can connect my iPod though, because as I said I can only receive shitty channels in there.
Besides, I got a few good car driving songs, like:
She Sells Sanctuary
Drivers Seat
Riders on the Storm
Is that from the accident you were involved a couple of months back? The one of which you posted pictures? No, that one wasn't my fault - I was driving to cricket last Saturday and met a car coming the other way on a tight, twisty country lane. I backed up and reversed into a brick wall. That's ridiculous, I know, but I'll have to live with it.
So you backed up without looking or what? :P
Or was it one of those small, nasty ones that you can't see when you're up close?
Oh looking at their discography they are still actively writing albums. Looks like Final Frontier has been their best album in Holland yet, followed by Seventh son of a seventh son.I'll let you know how well it's received when I go to see them in Birmingham, come the 31st of July!
Apparently they were here last month. Odd that I haven't heard any of my friends mention it. They drove all the way from Holland to Wacken to Sziget last year to see them twice live. If they bought tickets then I would've certainly gone too.
Lol, that's how they did it at my sports club too. Wasn't a very good rule when we were kids though. One person always got picked on and they threw his stuff outside the changing room so he was the last one to finish. When we were at school, we were teenagers left to run amok. I used to grab a quick shower and the lads all took the piss for that, so I just pulled my trousers on over my shorts, just like everyone else and grabbed a "shower in a can".
We still shower in a can at some cricket grounds these days. We would go in the shower cleaner than how we came out :P
So that's like... not showering at all and just put some deodorant on or what?
I myself just went showering at home eventually. Well until later when people weren't so childish anymore.

Bees had his posts wiped. TehSlapHappy lost over 420 posts and I lost over 60, so you're not the only one to lose posts.
