Could be that NG slowly shifts its focus. I got a feeling that the Flash Portal is already becoming a less and less important part of the site. Hopefully this shift won't lead to less activity on the site all round.I think we get more audio submissions than flash submissions these days.
Art Portal is doing pretty good as well I think. Though making a piece of art obviously doesn't take as long as making a decent flash.
Ten years sounds like a reasonable estimate to me. About every website will die out eventually and I do have the feeling NG is a bit past its peak already (peak being around 2006). But I hope the redesign will turn things around.Hopefully NG can live long enough. It deserves to outlive deviantART and YouTube, that's for sure. Those two sites need to be fucking destroyed.
I personally don't give a rats ass about deviantART. That site can rot for all I care. Youtube on the other hand needs cleansing though.
I should have known those alien maggots booby-trapped the sub.Hail to the king, baby!
You're an inspiration for birth control.
I've also seen people getting their accounts deleted for less... hmmm...Yeah, I'm guessing it was account compromised. Still, any accounts that fall to that better be extremely secure.
Kinda their fault if their account security was lacking. I personally don't find "someone else was using my account" an excuse. Though in the case of child porn... it is relevant to find out who WAS posting it.

I only lasted 6 months at University and yet, it wasn't one of the worst decisions of my life. I wasted money, wasted time, but I did meet a damned good couple of friends and broadened my horizons. Not everyone could easily move out and fend for themselves at 18. I know that I still live at home with my parents, but if I moved out, I could live comfortably - even moreso than back then.

I really don't know, is it real life achievement? Or is it an achievement at all?
Ah-ha! I like the logic working here - you're spot on, in that it's none of the above statistical achievements.

I think there were also plenty of times when they were happily dancing and singing. Even Aragorn. Good thing they cut out all of that. The films are long enough already.
I liked it!

Heh, I might be able to tolerate it in that case. Well, if it's weaker than Rivalry then maybe not. By that album you could tell Running Wild were running out of ideas. But how is the music itself? Both albums don't even have many reviews on Metal-Archives. The Brotherhood has two while Rogues en Vogue only has one."The War" is a pretty good song, despite the low sound quality. The rest is "Running Wild standard".
If you mean "Rolf" by "Running Wild", then he ran out of ideas after "Under Jolly Roger". I don't think the other band members where really involved in the song writing.
It's amazing how the band always sounds the same, even though it had so many different band members.
So should police forces but the government made cuts on them. If my house gets fucking burgled, I know who to blame. If anything, with less police to help out with crime, I should have the right to beat any intruders to death.I'm pretty sure any job is hard to get right now.I guess jobs in health care are pretty crisis-proof.
Only in America.
You can always say it was an act of selfe defence. I'm not really sure if "Mega Flare" falls under "selfe defence", though. ^^
Good thing I don't speak German in that case. You can try it again but it won't be as funny.Only because in english the joke isn'T half as funny.
But you are missing out on a great joke!
I think that episode was genuinely bad but there's much worse from that season. The recent Moe episode I thought was good was Eeny Teeny Maya Moe. Considering the idea of the episode, I thought it was going to suck but it was executed quite well. The worst part of the episode was the awful side plot.Remind me.The episode "Moe'N'a Lisa", season 18.

I thought the side plot was decent.

Nah, only the manager who blew the money.

I suppose it's doing fine. It may not get hundreds of thousands of views but it really should be seen as a smaller department than the flash portal. At least it's a better place to upload art than on deviantART, even if NG aren't open to all sorts of crap. It's better that way.The art portal community does appear to be a bit elitist though, which is a shame.
It may ask for high standards but at least they keep all the MSPaint crap off the portal.
I think YouTube needs to go back to square one. It's the only way to recover from their mess.I'm afraid it will only get refilled with crap again though :(
Or they could ask for some standards.

There's a problem with self defence in this country. Someone actually got arrested for beating up a burglar who invaded his home.

That is true. They do often have hilarious commercials, like their latest one. It's a Dutch one, but I'm sure you'll understand :pVery clever. The part where they are blowing into the bottles playing that one track from Kill Bill, nice touch.
That part cracked us up the first time we saw the commercial.
I didn't link it to Kill Bill yet, despite the fact that I've seen the film multiple times now. It sounded very familiar though, it's probably a pretty famous music piece.
I don't think we have Washinton, but we do have Fuji. I think they're pretty good indeed, but we now buy Kanzi as they appear to be the only apples in season right now.Washington isn't a variety just a state where they are most grown. The common variety that most people eat here is "Red Delicious". And there are baking apples like "Granny Smith."
I see.
Yeah we also have Granny Smith, which we indeed mostly use for apple pies. Not sure about Red Delicious. I think most people buy Jonagold and Elstar here since they're often the cheapest.

Now that was a pretty awesome film in my opinion. I don't get why there were still (relatively) so many complaints about it. From what I've heard everything from the book was basically in there, they could've hardly adapted it any better.
Might be because it's Zack Snyder directing, but come on... I know the guy overuses that slowmo effect in action scenes, but at least give him some credit when he delivers a good film.
I still wanna get that book someday by the way. Been on my list of things to read for years now.

Yeah that's a good thing. Still, it's a shame they make newcomers feel so unwelcome.

Good idea. I suggest:
-No more claiming stolen videos are your own work
-No more misleading videos that try to direct you to other websites (to watch this and this)
-No more whoring out your own videos to get a higher viewcount.
-No more Youtube poop
-And for the love of God get rid of the comment system. The dumbness there is just unbearable sometimes.
That should be a good start for a new Youtube website.
