Guess it's easier for you to get here, though I don't think there's a direct line between The Hague and Germany. In fact, I think the only international trains go from Amsterdam to The Hague to Rotterdam to Brussels, which are all nowhere near Germany. It's possible to travel by bus. I had a quick look and I found a connection for 70 euros (it includes both travels, there and back again) from Hamburg to Den Haag.
Must be one of those special trips. With regular public transport I don't think 70 euros will be enough.

Probably not. It's weird that the Romans didn't use it themselves. Especially in those times it must've been a very effective weapon.Archers are always susceptible to cavalry counter attack. So you'll need an army of infantry anyways to protect them. I guess they figured a line of swords and shield can grind any enemy into submission better than archers.
Could be the reason, but still... having a line of archers behind your infantry to shoot the front rows of your enemy has always seemed like a good way to start a battle in my view. But perhaps the romans hardly ever met enemies that were well organized and thus it wasn't much use showering them with arrows first because they were too scattered.
A bear mace? Never heard of it, but it sounds weird.Yeah bear mace. It's just like any other mace spray except in a bigger can to throw the spray further.
Lol, so it's just some kind of pepper spray for bears? Awesome!
I guess that's easier to use than some rifle.
Oh yeah. I don't know how it is in America, but chickens tend to get diseases around here once every few years. You gotta be careful around those times.I'm not too worried about avian bird flu or any of those exotic diseases, but rather common salmonella which is the most common cause of food poison.
Fish is not really a luxury here because we live close to the sea :)

20,000 B/P!
According to NG Logs I got 152 blams in a little less than 23 hours. Nothing like that many submissions were blammed according to the obituaries and the only way I could possible get 152 is if a very prominent spammer or group of spammers was removed from the site. So I'm confused and very much hoping that it isn't a glitch or something and I lose them all.

Funny to see how famous actors started their careers, often playing in silly commercials.
The best irony is that's how Joey was in Friends as well :P

Well, all last year we were saying "Come the off-season, we'll get Cliff Lee" and we all know how that turned out.So who would be number one on your wish list that has a legit chance of leaving their team?
Tough call. I've heard things about Eric Bedard, but I'm not sure if he'd fit in with the rotation.

What about Barry Zito or Matt Cain?

Only 100 EXP gained from the last update. It'll be reasonably easy to catch up on him. As for me, it's getting awfully slow here but at least there's a few dead accounts who are level 48.

Shuriken almost look like cogs. This will do, until I can get some proper cogs to replace them.

After Colon's performance last night, we're nto desparate enough for Zito. Cain could be useful, though.
Here's a picture of some early Worcester pressure, bearing down on the Cornish Pirates (Yellow) We scored a try about 2 minutes later, but cheering, waving and generally having a good time meant no time for the cameras :P

Parks are fine to play some football.
Karaoke... I don't know, I'm not interested in that. XDMe neither, but I guess it could be fun once everybody had a few drinks.
I never have been so drunk that I could see the fun in singing karaoke. ^^
Well that's what I thought too at first and at second, but then I got a little too enthusiastic one night with a certain kind of cake 0.oI'm sure plenty of people will be interested.I guess so. But I would stick to beer, nevertheless. I'm a non-smoker, and smoking weed does nothing for me, except for sending me into a coughing fit. ^^
And here am I, always thinking the cake was a lie. :/
Must be one of those special trips. With regular public transport I don't think 70 euros will be enough.Guess it's easier for you to get here, though I don't think there's a direct line between The Hague and Germany.
I guess those bus lines can be compared to Greyhound busses in the USA.
Oh yeah, Ryan Air is one of the cheapest airlines if I remember correctly.I suppose he takes the plane to Manchester?Yes, there are some very cheap connections via Ryan Air. Sometimes he has to fly from Bremen, though.
And they try to become even cheaper by charing you a small fee when you have to use the toilet. They are even thinking about introducing stances to planes... o_O

And because they live long?I'd like to hear why. Why? Because they are turtles!

And because they are turtles.
Also, wouldn't it be great to get a young turtle today and then pass it on to your kids when you are too old and your kids can pass it on to your grandchildren...
Happy now? >:(Very happy! I needed to defeat you and I knew the funniest joke in the world would be the key.
So, the only way to defeat me is to kill me.... I have to build up a resistance to funny jokes. :/

When I signed up I think there were around... 15 and people like gfox, ramagi and fixit were holding the top spots.
Becoming Sup Commander is now more like the point where it begins. We'll soon get 200 Supreme Commanders and at that point I should start consider expanding the list. :P
I think 300 users is enough already, but building it up to 400 or 500 is fine with me as well. I'm sure most people within those regions will love it.
I think 20.00 VP would be a nice maximum. It might also create some nice shifts in the VP rankings list. At least we will see less semi-retired EGSCs who haven't been around for years at the top. They can make way for some more active regulars who've done much more blamming and protecting in their careers.Heh, that would put me in the top 20 VP. Crazy shit that is. That reminds me, we could do with another VP update soon.
I guess I will somewhere around there as well.
Didn't Wylo tell us to contact him if we wanted an update?
Oh right. You all become 1,000 years old at the very least. Unless some knight comes to slay you.You think we're afraid of them?

I'd rather come up to them with a bow than with a sword to be honest :pHannibal did a great job with elephants for the first fight with them, since they had no clue what they were. Of course the Romans figured to just let the elephants pass through since they naturally don't want to stomp on anybody.
Apparently elephants don't work too well for war purposes. The riders of elephants always carried a mace with spikes with them so they could kill the elephant in case it charged at their own people.
I think one problem elephants have is that they don't realise how big they are :p Also, they're pretty compassionate animals, so I suppose it's hard to train them in hurting people.
You'd be very unlucky if you assaulted someone who carries that stuff around :pYeah but being assaulted with a taser would be much worse in my view. Pepper spray annoys the senses but a taser paralyzes you.
I don't know, I think pepper spray has a longer lasting effect. But tasers do have some potential to kill you if you're unlucky, so perhaps pepper spray is better.
It usually goes the same in Europe, but with so many different countries packed together it's sometimes a little difficult to regulate. I don't think they all use the same rules and regulations so sometimes some infected chickens slip passed the borders. You would think that the EU would have just one standard when it comes to something like food safety and inter-country transport of food.
Maybe they have, but as you might know the EU is still a bit of mess.
A few months ago we had a problem with bad eggs coming in from Germany.

Well at least he didn't turn out to be one of those actors who can really only play one role, or are casted for only one kind of role, right?

If they have a decently sized grass field, then yes they are. Preferably with two goals and no water around.
Me neither, but I guess it could be fun once everybody had a few drinks.I never have been so drunk that I could see the fun in singing karaoke. ^^
Well there are certain songs that are just fun to sing along with. Like:
DUUUUHUUUUUUUHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU UUU!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know though. Hearing 80% of the songs getting raped by people who can't sing for shit might not be THAT much fun.

Probably. There are some companies like Eurolines who have busses going from major city to major city. They'll drop you off in the early morning and can pick you up that evening (or the next morning, or a week later etc.). I think that's the kinda bus you have to go with.

Oh yes I've heard of the standing places. Sounds pretty ridiculous but I guess it might work for very short trips. They shouldn't let people stand for any longer than an hour though.
