I think, at least over here, food poisoning is more prevalent in chicken since it's common place and is slightly difficult to tell when done compared to beef. Fish is more of a luxury when compared to beef, chicken, and pork to Americans so it's not really common in dishes unless you live near the coast.

Well, what else IS there to do at a NG meet up? ^^
Playing a game of football sounds nice to me. Also, I don't know if there are any karaoke bars, arcade halls or bowling alleys. I thought singing karaoke was an NG meet-up tradition by now.

To play a game of football all you need is some grassland. You should have some of that in Delft. ^^
Karaoke... I don't know, I'm not interested in that. XD

Oh wait... we could visit the local coffee shop >.> <.<
Oh right, getting totally wasted sounds like a good idea.
I'm sure plenty of people will be interested.

I guess so. But I would stick to beer, nevertheless. I'm a non-smoker, and smoking weed does nothing for me, except for sending me into a coughing fit. ^^

Would you attend a meeting at The Hague? If so, well I might bother to go downtown and see what you guys are up to.
Let me put it this way: It's more likely I can attend a meet up in Den Haag than a meet up in London or Manchester.
But on the other hand... my brother is a fan of Man City and he sometimes visits their home games. So maybe a meet up in Manchester would be the most likely, but Den Haag would be close after that. ^^
Guess it's easier for you to get here, though I don't think there's a direct line between The Hague and Germany. In fact, I think the only international trains go from Amsterdam to The Hague to Rotterdam to Brussels, which are all nowhere near Germany.

It's possible to travel by bus. I had a quick look and I found a connection for 70 euros (it includes both travels, there and back again) from Hamburg to Den Haag.

I suppose he takes the plane to Manchester?

Yes, there are some very cheap connections via Ryan Air. Sometimes he has to fly from Bremen, though.

It's weird that the Romans didn't use it themselves. Especially in those times it must've been a very effective weapon.

Archers are always susceptible to cavalry counter attack. So you'll need an army of infantry anyways to protect them. I guess they figured a line of swords and shield can grind any enemy into submission better than archers.

With one quick google search I find 40,000 years back or 15,000 years back, but they only became powerful at about 1,500 B.C. when it was made of a composite material.

Could be the reason, but still... having a line of archers behind your infantry to shoot the front rows of your enemy has always seemed like a good way to start a battle in my view. But perhaps the romans hardly ever met enemies that were well organized and thus it wasn't much use showering them with arrows first because they were too scattered.

A bear mace? Never heard of it, but it sounds weird.
Yeah bear mace. It's just like any other mace spray except in a bigger can to throw the spray further.

I guess they could scale that up nicely. Four new ranks, 10,000 extra BP required for each and a 10% bonus to your VP with each level up. That'd give you a nice 100% bonus to your voting power at the end.

20,000 B/P!
According to NG Logs I got 152 blams in a little less than 23 hours. Nothing like that many submissions were blammed according to the obituaries and the only way I could possible get 152 is if a very prominent spammer or group of spammers was removed from the site. So I'm confused and very much hoping that it isn't a glitch or something and I lose them all.

I noticed this as well. My guess is that the Admins got around to deleted some of the stuff that got marked for review as I saw this gain as well. It goes to show you that even if it takes a while you will get the blams points from 0ing abusive flash along with Flagging it.

It seems I gained 133 Blams. Sweet!
My B/P ratio went from 2.32 to 2.29; pretty dramatic change.

Nope, the list says 280 for each one since you obtained level 39.

Ok that's good news. I think it was just a NGLog that I missed then.

Well there you go. If you can impale someone at a distance then that will be an advantage.

Most likely. Probably the only race that actually lined up and face the Romans line to line were the Carthaginians and each other during their many civil wars.

Lol, so it's just some kind of pepper spray for bears? Awesome!

I guess that's easier to use than some rifle.

Yeah it's just a larger can of pepper spay. I guess you can carry it around in a purse as well for personal protection.

Yeah, I'm mostly worried about salmonella. I haven't heard of any of such cases in a while though.

The US is pretty to at recalls when a pathogens like salmonella is found in meat or vegetables. So the likelihood of getting actually sick from is low unless you enjoy eating raw chicken that been sitting out on the counter for hours.

I think we've pretty much exhausted the script for this one now...

Well, all last year we were saying "Come the off-season, we'll get Cliff Lee" and we all know how that turned out.

Oh well, maybe he learned another word or two then. But if you listen to their Tokyo Tales album you hear what I mean.

I don't listen to live albums very often but when I listen to it again, I'll see what you were trying to say.

I'd like to hear why.
Why? Because they are turtles!

And because they live long?

I think 100 days is still pretty long, and also, I think it will be kinda lame when we have dozens of people with level 60.

It's pretty lame to have around 190 Supreme Commanders. :P

Again, it wouldn't be convenient for me. I think 70,000 would be good. ;)
I guess they could scale that up nicely. Four new ranks, 10,000 extra BP required for each and a 10% bonus to your VP with each level up. That'd give you a nice 100% bonus to your voting power at the end.

Now that would be awesome. I'd have over 17.50 VP if that was the case.

Well, it can be hard to avoid but generally they're better looking than humans.

Beats a sword or any other melee weapon in a one on one fight I'd say.

Looks like they were also the guys who used elephants as frontal troops. I'd rather come up to them with a bow than with a sword to be honest :p

Lol, so it's just some kind of pepper spray for bears? Awesome!

You'd be very unlucky if you assaulted someone who carries that stuff around :p

It usually goes the same in Europe, but with so many different countries packed together it's sometimes a little difficult to regulate. I don't think they all use the same rules and regulations so sometimes some infected chickens slip passed the borders.

Funny to see how famous actors started their careers, often playing in silly commercials.

Exactly! I thought it was pretty lame to be the 115th Sup Commander, but for those who reach it now it's only getting lamer and less impressive.

Becoming Sup Commander is now more like the point where it begins.

I think 20.00 VP would be a nice maximum. It might also create some nice shifts in the VP rankings list. At least we will see less semi-retired EGSCs who haven't been around for years at the top. They can make way for some more active regulars who've done much more blamming and protecting in their careers.

As long as they're not only old dragons.

Oh right. You all become 1,000 years old at the very least. Unless some knight comes to slay you.
