We should reflect that in the song titles as well. For example, the first track is called "noisy", the second one "even noisier" the third "the noisiest" and so on. We could go up to "extremly fucking loud noise!"
How can you get nosier than "the nosiest"? :P

We are ARTISTS! WE can do that!

Yeah, I guess. It looks like a green area to me, which usually means it's one of the better places to live in.

Conclusion: Hamburg is one of the better places to live in. :P

but in that picture you can see it's the typical, crappy, 1960's architecture kind of neighbourhood :p
Actually, it was build from 1970 to 79. :P
Close enough. It's tons of crappy apartments made in some era in which it was probably cheap to build them there.

At least the buildings aren't as cheap as the ones that have been build in the 50s, when the only goal was to build houses quickly for people to live in (Hamburg was largely destroyed in WW2, so housing spaces where quite rare). Obviously, most of those houses where in bad shape and most of them still are in bad shape.

Hardly anybody I know takes notes during the lectures :p
But in this lecture you HAD to take notes! So there should be somebody of who you can copy the slides you missed.
Yeah in that case it probably won't be hard to find someone. But it would've been easier for everyone if the prof recorded his lectures, like they sometimes do here.

Some profs do this "e-learning" stuff, but tbh: Who on earth watches those videos anyway? >_>

I'm sure there was some meaning to it but me, the whole of The Truth was pretentious.

Fair enough - I really enjoyed that part of the game, it just gave people the sense that there was something more to this game than just the killing and a personal agenda.

Yeah but when I view your Steam profile, I only get your account number. Go to your settings (Right click Steam icon -> Settings -> Change avatar) and there you'll give your Steam profile its own ID name.

Yeah, that can work. It'll be like how Tomb Raider improved its storyline with the remake. It was mostly vague in the original game but the remake explained things better.
Exactly. I thought there were plenty of vague dialogues and scenes in the original game, so they could improve on that.

If there's one Final Fantasy game that could do with improving storyline, it's FFIX. Freya and Amarant only had a short amount of time to tell their backstory.

Yeah, I hear all the COD campaigns last 8 hours or less. I find 8-10 hours reasonable but obviously others want more.
I guess it also focusses a lot on multiplayer.

Yeah, most of these big titles heavily rely on multiplayer these days. Sure, it provides great replay value but at least give campaign a chance. These companies may as well forget about campaign mode.

I just never felt the need to learn how to swim. Most people float when they are in the water; I don't. I'm like a rock when I'm in the deep end of the pool.

Oh well, at your age it's probably not too difficult to learn. The motion you have to do to keep your head above the water is quite easy. Although maybe it's one of those things that you learn best when you're a kid...

Yeah WW2 is mostly responsible for the rapid building of cheap apartments. The centre of Rotterdam was bombed as well and that's why it has completely lost it's nice and cultural buildings. After the war, the centre was filled with asphalt and tall, 'modern' buildings to get the city back on its feet, but as a result the city now has no athosphere whatsoever. Indeed. It was kinda vague why Amarant joined you in the first place. He wanted to go with you because he wanted to know what made you so strong or something... I don't think it was ever explained where he really came from and why he became a mercenary.

As for Freya, well you got her story with Sir Lancelot, but it was kinda odd how Lancelot just disappeared for the rest of the game and Freya never brought him back up again.

Beside Quina, the other characters got much more time in which their stories were explained.

I guess it also focusses a lot on multiplayer.

I think the overwhelming fear of drowning is a really major hurdle as well. I rather tackle heights like in a plane or roller coaster, than go into water where I can't touch bottom.

To be honest I don't know any other large forums other than NG and I guess 4chan.

Now that you mention, maybe they don't... :p Well then they will definitely not pay us if we go ask them for a job.

Oh well, at your age it's probably not too difficult to learn. The motion you have to do to keep your head above the water is quite easy. Although maybe it's one of those things that you learn best when you're a kid...
I think the overwhelming fear of drowning is a really major hurdle as well. I rather tackle heights like in a plane or roller coaster, than go into water where I can't touch bottom.

I can understand that, but you could practice in undeep water. It's really not that difficult, just shift your body forward and make circles with your hands and feet. Should be enough to keep you afloat.

These are the higher ranks we're in and it's not getting any easier. I entered the Top 200 when I was level 43. That isn't too bad, however.

So it has already increased by two levels in the mean time. Indeed, it's gonna get really tough and there are still so many people actively depositing, even though they're technically not even around anymore.

GOOOOOOOD NO!

He looks as if his parents were a bulldog and a dragon or something. The older Spyro looked waaaay better. At least then he looked like a clever fellow. Now he looks plain dumb and incapable of talking properly.

Same here then, except a few months after. I wonder if I'll be in the top 10 experience by then.
I highly doubt it. I bet most of the Top 50 users are very persistent with their ranks and will continue to deposit, even well after level 60.

Yeah, see my comment above. Top 50 might be reachable at that point though.

Beside Quina, the other characters got much more time in which their stories were explained.
There really isn't much you can say about Quina.

In my eyes he was always a silly comic relief character which nobody cared about. I liked his blue mage abilities, but they should've picked a different character for that class. One who is actually involved in the story.

Alas, blue mages always seem to be neglected in final fantasy. In my opinion it's one of the more interesting classes.

I agree. Personally I tend to get bored with multiplayer fairly quickly and I can't imagine I'm really going to like playing against douchy kids who take the game a little bit too seriously. So I do want a satisfying campaign mode at the very least.
PC gaming seems more calmer than what you find on PS3 and 360.

Well, as an inhabitant of Hamburg, you must be a little bit biased.

It's crowded, noisy and everything is grey.
Which just proves once more that mankind is pretty stupid in general. :(
At least the city center of Hamburg is pretty nice, even though it's quite a posh area.

I suppose you guys are better at rebuilding cities than we are. Fortunately it was only Rotterdam that was bombed.

Some students do here. It's quite nice that you can just grab a bag of crisps, lean back in your chair and follow the lecture. If you need to go somewhere, just pause it.
This reminds me. We always wanted to order a pizza during one of our lectures and have it delivered into the lecture hall. ^^
I tried watching some e-learning videos, but it was too boring...

Haha, actually I had that plan recently as well, since they scheduled lectures from 15:45 to 19:45. I thought I could go make a point by ordering a pizza during the lecture :p

Going by other shows, all episodes will be shown in American first, then UK, then DVD. Also, series 6 hasn't even finished yet so we have a long wait.

If they haven't even finished the first half of season 6, there really is no hope for us. Let's see if they get it out before my 21st birthday which is in July.

Yep, Aqualung and Trine are some good abilities for earlier points. However, I tend to stop using it after a while since it doesn't become very useful for the later part of the game.

I'd say games shouldn't involve so much reading but most Final Fantasy games apply to that. I'll just say games with mostly action and very little text doesn't do the pacing well.
