OMG! Street View started in Germany today. Some kind of hysteria and/or paranoia led to some pretty silly actions. Now some houses aren't visible because some jerk complained to google.
My house is visible, the house next to mine isn't... this looks just stupid.

I guess I should visit another tutorial before I start to write my diploma thesis. ^^
I never knew those kind of sites were dealing with copyright infringement issues as well. I agree with you it's a little bit silly. It's not like anyone is gonna pay money to look up a song text.Yeah with the rise of the internet so that everybody has access to anything at all times... It's just getting in the way nowadays. For example I never got why websites are sued for displaying song texts. Nothing else, just the song text. Many (if not all) sites hosted on a german server where sued for compensation. Compensation for what? That's so ridiculous...
Basically what those sites where sued for is called "Schadensersatz" in german. It means that you sue someone for a loss you suffered because of some actions those person did (wiki about "damages").
It would mean that record companies suffered a loss because of those sites. So, by their logic people looked up a song text on the internet and decided NOT to buy a song.
I wonder how people can come up with such a twisted logic and I wonder why courts say the record companies are right. :/

Maybe a bit late, but as some of you may know I was in Scotland this year. I also had a small meet up with Bezman, BlackOps and Lazypint there.
Well, here's a picture of me and Bez in Pollock Park. :)
