That's a nice achievement. It would be cool if you shoot for 10k, but I can imagine that's a tough voyage.
Thanks. And yeah I know, I'm just going to do one here and there and hopefully it will build up though. Still, the only people with 10,000 Reviews total have been here a LOT longer than me.
Well we'll see where you end up then. I guess we shouldn't expect to see you reach 10k anytime soon.

Top 10 Protector
I'm not sure for how long this will last, but it is going to be fun attempting to consolidate my position.
Awesome!
I've been stuck at number 17 for as long as I can remember.

Yeah 2 is like a 5 mirrored in two axis. I'd say 2 is a special number though, if you consider its role in mathematics.
What, as the second prime number?
For example, and it has many unique properties.
Remember what Ricky Bobby said - If you ain't first, you're last!
We always say you're the winner among the losers :p

Wasn't that only if you make money out of it? I thought that copyright law was always a little vague.
Copyright is a very complex field. Also, laws differ from country to country, so I cannot give a definite answer to that. ^^
But no, basically you don't have to make money off the stuff you copied to get sued for infringement.
Makes sense I guess. But due to the fact that it's different per country and a lot of reports and papers and such are distributed internationally, I can imagine it's indeed complex.
I don't know, sometimes I got the feeling that controlling and checking whether people are violating copyright laws often causes more trouble than it prevents.
It certainly is, and it's common in all layers of society.
I always have to think of that one quote: "Why don't we just get rid of all caution notes and let the problem solve itself?"
Lol!
Which reminds me of the Darwin awards and Murphy's laws.
Oh yeah, true. Math formulas can be used freely, and of course people tend to use the same formulas to get to a solution.
And of course there's always that one guy who's a math genius and solves all problems within 30 minutes and all other students just copy the solution. ^^
Of course there's always those kind of guys. Although that sounds more like something for high school homework assignments, which I don't really have anymore.

Yeah. Well it might have been very demotivating at this point considering how large the gaps would be, but back then I thought I might as well deposit every day to get to higher levels.
Heh, Level 12! A day later, back to Level 11. The next day back to Level 12 again.
Oh yeah! Those were the days. You always got these posts here where people celebrated their level up and then everybody was like: "Lol level down again" the next day. And I remember there was this one guy here who celebrated leveling down (was once a level 18 or something, but leveled down to 15 eventually).
But yeah, the level gap between 9 and 10 is way to high for new users and I can imagine that their would be a ton of Level 9 users on the site if it still existed.
I think the gap might be around 2,000 points by now. I should update my blog with the level requirements... =/
