I didn't feel it since I was asleep and it was 90 miles northeast of me, but it did cause a stir since they are rare.
What a coincidence, we had an earthquake of 4.2 two days ago. It would be great if we had more of those small quakes in California, because they would delay "The Big One" that geologists say it will happen someday. Or even better, the more energy the earth releases, the weaker the earthquake will be. It's very scary seeing how actually the energy released, follows the San Andreas fault AND most of it, goes to the north :/ I have family living in Bakersfield. I hope they could manage that disaster...
Water heater was busted so I couldn't shower here today. There's almost no water pressure at all. I guess the new one is $700 installed, plus I got fined $530 today for a ticket I had. Basically they ticketed me for driving with a suspended license even though they never notified me that they suspended it. Shitty. I'm still waiting for things to start looking up. I'm hoping that's the day I get approved for student loans.

Yeah, I know. I don't play too often as well (and I also forget to check for updates) so often I think: "Hey, let's play XYZ!" and then I have to update first. ^^
lol yeah but it isn't like that on 360. that's the only reason I brought it up because it's like "ughhhhhh...really?" *stares at tv for half an hour* *sigh*
Well, that's why it's called an "opinion" because it's biased. :P
I was just trying to say that you have 13 year old kids who think they are "cool" on both systems, so you have lame gamertags on both systems. That's six of one and half a dozen of another.
True. Idk it was just that EVERY game I played on WaW on ps3...I swear...they were the worst gamertags I had ever seen. Maybe I was playin the wrong game, lol. ::dunno:: I guess the first thing that turned me against ps3 was the price tag on release, because before that I had never played xbox and I was a huge ps2 player. When I heard how expensive they were, I just bought a 360 instead.
I still think the 360 is better, at least for online gaming anyway. Plus, I don't think ps3's come with a headset. Neither of my buddy's have one and I barely ever heard anybody talk, where as with xbox you get a free shitty headset with every accessory, lol. I suppose it's all just opinion anyway, I just figured I'd share my experiences and things I have noticed. No offense to any ps3 owners intended.

Oh no not you too :( But there are two reasons for this happening. The stuff that should be blammed such as many of the Spam movies made to either piss off the masses as well as win the TOTW award get protected by people who vote for the point instead of fairly which lowers the amount of Blam points people can get.
The other reason which is a good one is that people are making better flash due to the updates in flash and are submitting less crap to blam. Though I won't be part of the breed that has more protects then blams even if I must retire when I get the final rank which I should have gotten years ago.

Yeah I also noticed that too. There is WAY more quality flash out there than there used to be, the funny thing is too, if you look in the obituaries ever, you'll notice we have way less submissions per day than there was in previous years like 04 and 05. I saw days with 200 flashes blammed, I bet that hasn't happened once all this year.

The reason this thread exists is so people can post their NG gains and get praised for them. Such as leveling up on NG in B/P rank, or level rank (But you need to be at level 10 before Level up counts for anything) or if you get a special number of EXP points, posts or metals. Special numbers would be number that are the same that are in the hundreds such as 888, 777 1337 etc.
This thread was also made so that people don't consistantly make level up threads in other places.

I often find that if there are small earthquakes they tend to make everything more unstable and would trigger a bigger earthquake. Not saying I except a huge one here since the fault lines are small but in somewhere in Cali.

God of War is a pretty good game, but I still have to buy it. They released a God of War Collection, where all three games are included. Part I and II (originally released for PS2) are ported for the PS3, so they look a bit better.
Yeah, I know. Hey, you can always watch TV while the thing updates. ^^
I guess the first thing that turned me against ps3 was the price tag on release, because before that I had never played xbox and I was a huge ps2 player. When I heard how expensive they were, I just bought a 360 instead.
That's why you wait until the prices drop. :P
I bought the PS2 for about 400Euro (I think it was 799DM, but we got a new currency ^^) and about 2 weeks after I bought it the price dropped...
Also, I bought the PS3 together with my gf, so it wasn't so expensive since we could just split the price. XD
I still think the 360 is better, at least for online gaming anyway.
I don't like the idea to pay extra for being able to play online. I pay for my internet connection anyway, as well as for the games, so why do I have to pay for the online service?
That's the reason I don't have PSN+.
Plus, I don't think ps3's come with a headset. Neither of my buddy's have one and I barely ever heard anybody talk, where as with xbox you get a free shitty headset with every accessory, lol.

The activity of the San Andreas fault is very unexpected. It has gotten more these days often since part of the west coast of the US and the Baja peninsula in Mexico, has already started to separate from the American continent. I can't imagine the city of Los Angeles as a part of San Francisco, lol. Not to mention the new island it will start to float in the Pacific Ocean in million of years :P

I thought you had a job 0.0Yes but I have other shit to get and there's stuff I'll need to pay for.
Don't tell you work for nothing, cause in that case you're doing it wrong.
Ask your boss for a raise. After six weeks of loyal service you deserve one ;)
Oh well, these are hard times for everyone and things will probably get better in a few years, when the majority of the people realize what a jackass they've chosen to lead the country. It doesn't help when they're going to take until 2015 to "recover" from recession. At this rate and considering the tory bastards, it may as well be 2020.
Lol, exactly the same here. They want to get all the saving done before 2015. I guess it's another one of those European guidelines that nobody is going to get even close to in the end.
Personally I think they better aim for 2020. It's going alright with the economy again at this moment and if you're gonna take a lot of money away from the people you're only gonna halt the economic growth. That's what I think at least.

Lol. Italians and Eastern Europeans are the worst aren't they? :p
At least I know that the square root of -1 is i.At 10/12/10 12:34 PM, Haggard wrote:Ah yes imaginary numbers. I've had calculus, linear algebra and other math courses in which imaginary numbers were being treated. At 10/12/10 05:49 AM, Auz wrote:
That's all you need to know :p
I also had courses in vibration analysis in which imaginary numbers occurred, but that's about the only practical application I have had so far. That's one practical application more than I ever had. ^^
You might get to learn one in the future. Apparently it's used in signal processing and other things similar as well, which sounds like something you might learn about.
Lol, I don't buy books anymore at all. Too expensive and most of them I only consult like... once or twice over the entire period I need them.Yeah, I just have the feeling that I have to buy the book (except for when it's too expensive. Then I think: "Wth? I can do without...") and usually I read it. But I don't think it affected my results too much yet. XD
Nah there's too much information in them which is really not important for you at all.

Ah I see, but I suppose that's not what those loans are for are they? I guess a laptop is useful for your studies, but here you're supposed to pay your college money and books with it.
But my parents pay that for me and I'm glad our first three years of student loans will be a gift if we graduate within ten years :p
Anyway, 4 years of hitting the books isn't so bad. You'll probably find that your college time is the best time of your life.I certainly hope so. If I can't make it and drop out I'm gonna off myself (not serious) (okay, kinda serious) ;)
Well that would definitely suck for you and put you in a pretty bad financial situation for ... maybe the rest of your life.
It works different here than in America.I can see that. I do not understand your foreign govt speak lol Hopefully it works out for the better though.
Well I think the biggest difference is that we have 15+ parties while you only have 2 (or 3) and we usually have 3 or 4 parties who cooperate with each other while you only have 1 party who's in charge for a 4 year period. To be honest, I think something closer to the American system will work better since our governments split up from time to time due to arguments over a certain case. In the worst cases we have to do re-elections (which is what happened earlier this year).

I think a friend of mine, who's into Iron Maiden, once told me about that.Yeah, he's kept himself active and it's just for the love of music that he keeps going back to the studios. The same can be said for Alice Cooper, who has 25 studio albums to his name, though that is over a 41 year career.
Even though he has a 41 year career, that's still impressive. You see most musicians produce a couple of albums fast and then, as they get less popular and older, they slow down and only bring out something new every once a while.
Also, 25 albums from one artist is about the most I've ever heard of.
Then be a little more pressing with the matter. I am :PA few days ago I was trying to give a broad explanation to a user why he should put more thought into his topic. Then some other mod locked it with a lame one-liner. Ugh...At 10/11/10 02:26 PM, Auz wrote:At 10/11/10 04:00 AM, Coop83 wrote:

Just this much closer to my goal of Level 31.
My GTA and Sonic quizzes are no more. I'm glad the admins took them down quickly after renaming them to deletebaXX as I don't want any flashes that make me look like a trolling piece of shit.

I know it's a demo but sometimes I'd rather play the full experience until I get the full version.
You might want to keep that crate for the time being. Let's see how rare they become as new crate series come in.Yeah, should do I suppose :P
I have a series one crate now so if they happen to become rare, I have something good to trade in the future, Speaking of trades, I opened a series two crate and got some Australium Gold. I asked in one server if anyone was after one and after some negotiations, I traded my gold paint and Old Guad for one kid's Vintage Sergeant's Drill Hat. I'm very happy since I now have the best Soldier hat.

Be sure to mention it when the time comes!
Two albums I've yet to hear. I only have The Bends, OK Computer and Kid A.I still need to buy The Bends. But shops don't seem to have it in stock. :/
Amazon?
Trust me, that's not a good idea at all.I still have my Mega Flare proof shelter.
That's not going to help you!

I've actually earned a lot of money but I need to be committed to changing my laptop around with a new OS.

In 2015, there'll be another UK election so the tory bastards better not stay in power then. If they do and I know anyone who voted for them, I'll make sure to not speak to them again.
