Oh well, since you don't live on your own yet I'm sure you'll have plenty of money soon to buy everything you want.
Lol, exactly the same here. They want to get all the saving done before 2015. I guess it's another one of those European guidelines that nobody is going to get even close to in the end.In 2015, there'll be another UK election so the tory bastards better not stay in power then. If they do and I know anyone who voted for them, I'll make sure to not speak to them again.

They are indeed helpful. Also to get through some boring lecture hours :p
But my parents pay that for me and I'm glad our first three years of student loans will be a gift if we graduate within ten years :pMe too, if I show my grandma a college degree she said she will pay for it. I sure hope so :/
No, I meant our government is actually giving people money for the first three years to pay for their studies. The amount depends on whether you still live with your parents or not. I do so I only get about 1200 euros per year but you can get about 3000 euros if you live elsewhere.
You gotta finish within 10 years though, but right now they're thinking about changing that to 4 years. I sure hope I'm safe from those new rules once they're established though.
Well that would definitely suck for you and put you in a pretty bad financial situation for ... maybe the rest of your life.Yeah, I know. It honestly scares me a lot and I'm trying not to think about that :(
Yeah you better not, but perhaps it will be a good motivation to pull through it.
Well I think the biggest difference is that we have 15+ parties while you only have 2 (or 3) and we usually have 3 or 4 parties who cooperate with each other while you only have 1 party who's in charge for a 4 year period. To be honest, I think something closer to the American system will work better since our governments split up from time to time due to arguments over a certain case. In the worst cases we have to do re-elections (which is what happened earlier this year).15+ parties good god lol. Yeah most people cling to one or the other here. Of course, I think there's some obscure parties as well that never win, but I don't follow much of that.
Most people stick with either the more socialist side or the liberal side here. There are several parties on both those sides and some center parties.
Fifteen parties is a lot, but there are usually only three that really compete for the election victory so... it would be fine with me if all the other 12 are disbanded and join the three major parties, and then have only one party ruling our country like in America. I think the government could get a lot more done that way.

I've never seen true snow in my life, by the way. It would be cool if we had snow days so schools will be closed and we could also enjoy playing with the cold and white snow.
Tornadoes are random and more or less hit and miss even if strikes your block. Unless of course it's a rare EF5 tornado which will level everything. They are so rare I'm not even worried about it.

I actually got into a big conversation with my TF2 playing friend in college about what could be done to the Medic in future updates. I mean the Polycount update seemed to be very much about trying to make some classes play very differently, but we couldn't see how Medic could be changed much other than perhaps a new primary weapon with a view to improving Combat Medics. I don't think a new Medigun would be viable either, simply because what could you do for the Uber given crits and invincibility have been done already?

I really haven't had many milestones lately and I don't plan on having many anytime soon, but I'm sure they'll come every now and then. In other news, I'm working on the sequel to Pyroscape 2 and the sequel to Snow Wars along with some other odds and ends.
4,444 BBS posts.
This one snuck up on me and I almost passed it unknowingly.

Nice Doubt I will go up that high though unless they decide to add some new B/P Ranks.
Well, it is a small step along the road to the top, but we'll see me making another place in about a month, which is nice :)
You must mean moving up a rank in B/P I am guessing it must be murder gaining rank being that high since Flash doesn't come in like it used to back in the day, not to mention some things you think would or should get blammed or protected goes the other way. Oh well good luck with that Coop83
I hit 5,000 Medal Points today. I've refrained from posting any other thousand mark prior, lol. I'm not sure at what point medal points deserve congrats really :/

Also, I noticed yesterday: If you aren't connected to the PSN, the console doesn't update (well duh, how should it if it doesn't know there is an update waiting). So if you just want to play offline you don't HAVE to update.
Fair enough, lol.
And yes I realize that but what fun is playing games on a console if you can't go online? lol. Well, at least FPS games that is...I guess that's mostly all I played really.

Yeah, I just was trying to say it politly. :P
Better a day late than weeks or months.Good! NG Log won't mention it for you so you better keep it in mind.Usually I notice it about one day late.
True true.
I have to rely on Amazon, eBay and such a lot since most of the stuff I want aren't even sold in local stores. You should keep it in mind. Amazon is where I got many great CDs from.I still prefer buying CDs in a store. I guess it's because I get to see the actual album before I buy it and not just a silly small picture. Plus, I can grab a few CDs here and there from bands I don't know and listen to them in the store. If I like them, I might buy that album as well.
No HMV near you? I got the impression they have a great selection of Metal CDs in their stores.
I get stronger and stronger every day and your little shelter won't do anything to help you.It won't if I'm ultra angry. It's an ultra helpful shelter.
That's the advantage of the shelter. The stronger you are, the stronger it gets. That's why it's ultra helpful.

Heh, I hardly ever play FPS. I get motion sick when I play them for too long and that's why I suck badly at them, which is yet another reason not to play them. ^^

I've got a sneaking suspicion that they won't.

Well, it's something that I've been gunning for, now that I've accomplished my long-term goal of becoming a top 50 Blammer. Now I'm aiming for the top 10 B/Pers and that's over a year away, at a sum nearing 100,000 Big Ones.
Moving up the occasional rank is worth it, plus I'll be passing schneelocke soon.

I'm after all the weapons in the game. I'm a weapons collector and I'll even keep weapons I know I'll never need such as the Dalakohs Bar. The only weapon I can't get is the Golden Wrench. I also like to collect hats but that's not easy to do at all.
Damn, I'm even getting a crate off my friend for my spare Vintage Southern Hospitality. I'm glad I'm doing this trade since I really don't want to craft vintage weapons.Yeah, crafting can be a pain in the ass to get materials for, or it has been in my experience thus far.
It's not that hard, really. If you're after a specific weapon, you'll get it eventually. As for crafting metal, I just have a page for spare weapons to craft eventually and craft them whenever I feel like it.
Good luck trying to get one. Ze Goggles and brain slug are some of the most sought for hats in the game and whoever has either of them are asking for at least 2 good hats for them.See above comment re crates :P Eh I dunno, might be better off trying to get the medic token and metal and hope I get lucky on the craft.
You'll need four refined metals to get it. I'd only craft four refined metals if I really need one of the polycount hats. I remember crafting four refined metals with a pyro token and all I got was the beanie, the weakest Pyro hat at the time. I was harping on the brigade helm or the brain slug but luck wasn't on my side. However, it wasn't as bad as getting the Trophy Belt by crafting. THAT was a bitch!

Yeah, 2,500 and 7,500 are OK. However, for reviews and such, 250 isn't much.

You didn't need to with them.

There's a few but HMV isn't always reliable. One, there's a chance they don't have the specific artist in (I didn't see any fucking Accept last Saturday) and two, the prices are often £15+.

It was good but not worth a DVD purchase for me. The drawbacks Kickassia had are enough to put me off from getting it. I don't feel like getting a DVD where they give Spoony a huge ego-stroke.

Posting 444 would be fine as well.
No, I meant our government is actually giving people money for the first three years to pay for their studies. The amount depends on whether you still live with your parents or not. I do so I only get about 1200 euros per year but you can get about 3000 euros if you live elsewhere.Oh I see. Yeah, we applied for loans for me as well to the govt. Just waiting to hear back from them at this point. Hopefully I get approved too.
Hopefully. Don't you need to study on a little longer in high school before you can go to college?
Yeah you better not, but perhaps it will be a good motivation to pull through it.That's what I'm thinking. I mean, it's not like I'm working right now either, so it'll really be the only thing I have to do. I think I can manage that.
Just don't give up if it seems difficult at first ;) The first period/semester is always the hardest, it's when most people drop out.

Oh I see. Well I'm not keeping much track of it. Metal is not my favorite genre, although I can appreciate it every now and again.
I just hope rock will make a comeback someday, and I mean the more classical type of rock (not pop rock which has been popular ever since The Beatles).
I can think of a few bands and artists who have been around since the 60's, 70's and 80's, but none of them have more than 25 albums as far as I know.I think some more folk-y bands may have had more, but that's because they can't find the way out of the recording studio, because they find the use of doors "unethical"
Lol!
I just did a little google search and apparently there are some artists who have way more albums than that. Frank Zappa has 87 apparently (excluding compilation albums), Elvis Presley has over 90 and Frank Sinatra also has a shitload, but none of them beat this guy with 148 albums :p
I was a Review Mod for a few months before getting BBS Modded. Still being one keeps me sharp, but it taught me to type a ban or lock message in less than 200 characters :PAt 10/11/10 02:26 PM, Auz wrote:At 10/11/10 04:00 AM, Coop83 wrote: Simple and effective, but I'm sure not everybody will appreciate you locking their topic that way :p

I guess review bans don't need that much of an explanation.

Well unfortunately you're stuck to a major program in which you will sometimes have to deal with courses and subjects you don't give a shit about :p
True. The examples are always good to look through.Yeah and books about business economics have pretty good examples as well. Not like books about mathematical topics, where they always say: "The rest is trivial."
Lol. I don't know, I do have one good mathematical book, but the other math related ones often do a poor job of explaining things and indeed expect much from the reader.

Yeah, you better do ;)But then it's less time for the other forums.
They don't need nearly as much attendance as the general forum.
Oh well, since you don't live on your own yet I'm sure you'll have plenty of money soon to buy everything you want. We'll just wait and see.
The longer you wait, the more money you'll have.
Lol, better warn everybody beforehand. Maybe it'll change their mind about voting for the torries. Or not if they want you to shut up of course :pWell, not if they're quiet about voting for them.
People used to keep that quiet here, but lately everybody seems to reveal his political stance to everybody to check if they're on the same side (liberal or socialist).
There are actually rumors going around that confrontations are being planned between 'fascists' and 'anti-fascists' in our capital and that the British 'EBL' (or something, some extreme right wing group) will come to support the 'fascists' =/
