Hmm I got a lot less medals, but my medal score is still higher.
Congrats.

Well no it's probably not that bad, but Dutch TV station are really annoying when it comes to broadcasting series. They're always at least one season behind the UK and USA, they keep rewinding older episodes (especially with series like The Simpsons and South Park) and if there is an interesting series I'd like to follow it's always broadcasted on normal weekdays at 00:30 or some other unholy time.
I take it they favour crap like reality shows and soap operas? It seems every country is like this and it's a damn shame. They are nothing but cancer to television.
Yeah lots of reality and I think about half of them are based around fashion or giving 44 year old whiny housewives a new look. To make things even worse...
We also got a shitload of 'talent shows' with concepts stolen directly from the USA and the UK. Those are the real cancer to television in my opinion and I don't think any of the winners are even getting famous anymore except under the group of teenagers who watch those crappy shows. Unfortunately too many of them still do and that's why we get a new one about every few months.
Anyway, reality shows and talent shows are the kind of crap that is broadcasted on prime time and all the series are pushed to much later times. So I just gotta watch it on the internet because I'm not gonna stay up that late for them.
And they're wondering why so many people here watch TV series via the internet...
I'm not even sure if the new season of Futurama has aired in the UK yet so I've resorted to watching them on the internet. I'd watch it on TV if they released the episodes sooner and I'll buy the season box set when it comes out.
Yeah, I was thinking about buying some series season boxes as well, but the thing is... they're expensive and if I don't even know whether I'll like the series or not, I don't feel like risking it. Even if I think I like a series, you'll still never know how good it will be a couple of episodes later.
Yeah I already told her I got a dragon buddy here. Don't think it convinced her...
If a dragon doesn't convince someone to join Newgrounds, nothing will.
Yeah good point. Oh well, we'll see how this turns out.
... alright. If you insist on spending most of your summer that way. Remember that you're still young right now.
My friends aren't doing much anyway but we're still the young ones.
Hmm well I don't know about the UK but the weather has been quite awful here this summer so it wasn't exactly like: "Hey let's all go out and do this here and here" with me and my friends.
Oh yeah, but you can also play those online if you tell people your friend code and all. Not sure how that worked and I never cared to figure it out. I can't imagine it would've kept me interested in them for that much longer though.
It works differently for TF2 and most computer games since all you need is the server information and you're good to go.
Yeah I suppose on an ordinary PC it would be easier.
Oh wait a minute. Yeah I probably know where you are. That part wasn't so difficult though, you could easily catch the fish you needed if you know where it was. I'm a little surprised that that's the part where you gave up, because there were other parts in the game that were more of a turn off.
I just don't like fishing. And besides, that was around the time my sister borrowed the Wii for a while. After that, I just lost interest.
I see.
I may go back to the Wii since Metroid: Other M comes out next Friday and I really want to play this game. Although I never finished Metroid Prime 3, I sure as hell enjoy the franchise overall. Who knows, maybe I'll get back to Prime 3 after this or even play through the trilogy together.
Yeah it's a great series and I think Metroid Prime 1 and 2 are definitely among the best games for the Gamecube. I thought Metroid Prime 3 was received less well, but I would've bought it if I owned a Wii and I would definitely look out for Other M as soon as it came out.
Exactly! That's what my thought was on how to improve the series. Having specific genre's or specific era's for each game. I'd love a Classic Rock or 60's and/or 70's Guitar Hero themed game and I'm sure other people will like Metal or 90's or Pop or whatever.
They did make an 80s Guitar Hero game and they really need to make more games like that.
They did? Don't like the 80s as much as the 60s and 70s when it comes to music, but it's definitely a step in the right direction. I think those Rockband games were a pretty good idea too.
Nothing wrong with making it a little extra hardcore by adding a doze of danger to it.
Icon making is hardcore enough.
But you're a dragon! Aren't you supposed to be going for like... as hardcore as possible?
She did make her 31,000th post in here.
Yes but she hasn't been here much recently. I CARE FOR HER!
Well it was only about two weeks ago. I don't consider it that long ago since before that she was gone for much longer.
Nope me neither. I can't remember the last time I watched MTV... well actually I can't remember the last time MTV broadcasted music =/
It must have been ages ago since they last played music. Yeah. you know a TV channel is bad when they completely forget the original purpose of themselves.
Exactly. They're broadcasting way too many shitty, fake TV series right now.

Wut? They gotta be from Holland, but I've never heard of them.
Yeah they are. I'll be seeing them live next month along with a few other viking metal bands. Well, that's if I'm permitted by the school to take the days off then.
Viking metal? Hmm heidevolk sounds more like a term for barbarians living in mud huts.
Strange that you've heard of them and I haven't.

I've seen house - there was the one episode when Dr. Foreman was having a brain operation and House hijacked the operation to carry on himself. Foreman was pissed off
"House, get out of my brain!"
And then he said:
Good God in heaven, Newbie, there are just so very many ways for me to say this to you: Never; not in a million years; absolutely not; no way, Jose; no chance, Lance; nyet; negatory; mm-mm; nuh-uh; oh-oh; and of course my own personal favorite of all time, man falling off of a cliff -- "NOOOOOOOoooooooo!

Lol, I see :p Still, I think the Benny Hill theme will be more suitable.
Ah, the genius that was Benny Hill chasing after semi-naked girls while that lovely piece of saxophone plays.
Yep. I guess the theme has been overused though.
Wait, there's a TV series of that movie? 0.0
Yeah, it was better than the film.
I don't believe it! Looks like it only had 7 episodes, right? I gotta check it out then.

Where does your beard grow decently then? On your eyebrows? =/
It grows well in the goatee fashion, but the sides of my cheeks are pretty barren. My neck is pretty popular for hair growth and I can fashion some fairly standard sideburns, though I can't control how it all looks at the moment, which is a shame.
Well maybe if you went to a barbershop they can cut it the right way.
