Yeah I kinda liked that minigame too. I think Spoony was a little too harsh on that one. I had more problems with Tetra Masters in FF IX to be honest.

I didn't really mind his thoughts on Triple Triad. It was only a minigame so he can say what he wants. As for me, at least I had fun with it.

Well it's only a small part of the game, that's true. But he did dedicate an entire episode about it. He was right though that the rules changing all the time was really fucked up. I always just restarted the game as soon as crappy rules started to spread. Take All was fine, but the Random rule and the flipped cards are yours rule... fuck those.

I thought that magic refining method was a little lame because you needed to play the card game for so long before you finally had a decent profit from them.

I had some cases of OCD for the game so it was no issue.

Lol. It was fairly addicting I suppose, although the music could get on your nerves.

I just think the 1,000 experience requirement was too low considering there were monsters that could give you well over 1,000 experience if you defeated them. If they increased that requirement with every 10 levels or so it might have been better and less quick.

That's it, there were monsters that gave you 250 or more EXP within the first place. That's what made it too easy to level up. I'd much rather have FFIV's slow level system than that. At least I knew getting to the highest level wouldn't be a walk in the park.

Yes exactly. Although getting to level 100 didn't mean all that much if you didn't have good spells to attach to your stats.

I'd love to go to Japan myself too, just to see the culture, nature and old architecture. I would love to go shopping for Miyazaki films too, but I'm afraid I might end up with Japanese only which I don't understand a single word of.

Local food? Well not really. We went to lots of vegan restaurants in London, but I don't suppose you could say that that is local food.

Been waiting for this achievement for a long time. I can't even remember when I passed 10,000 blams. All I know is that it must've been well before the redesign in July 2007 because I was around 11,000-12,000 then.

Closest you can get to something resembling a tube in Norway is probably the regular train when it goes through tunnels, which is pretty often in Norway.

As far as I know, there's one single busline that uses double deckers, and that's an expressline that goes four times a day or something like that. But I know what you mean, sitting up there makes you feel like a king.

Dropping a teenager off at school for mum (it's on my way to the office), I pulled over just past the school gate, as the traffic was flowing at a reasonable rate, rather than allowing her out before. A rather angry man in a 4x4 decided to give me an earful of horn, totally ruining my enjoyment of Man of the Year, by Alice Cooper. I gave him the finger, knowing that I'd pulled up for less than 10 seconds on double yellow "no parking" lines. I pulled away and met the traffic filter, less than 50 yards down the road, when he gets out to remonstrate with me. I wound down the window and duly turned tyhe stereo down

Calmly looking in my mirror, I pointed out that he was doing just the same that I had been doing, but he was actually parked. I could go nowhere, because of traffic, but there is now a 20-30 yard gap between our vehicles. As I watched his blood pressure rise, a gap appeared in the traffic and, not wanting to hold up the flow, I drove off.

I almost expected him to follow me to work and try to continue this. Twat.
