Ichiro for sure. Jeter, I would absolutely love for him to pass Pete Rose. He definitely deserves it. Only 1509 Hits to go which is not totally impossible.

Yeah, but you consider that they got Peavy and Alex Rios last year, which gave them a boost for 2010 and combine that with the acquisitions of Jones, Vizquel and Mark Teahen at third base, they're starting to build up something good.

Hmm I don't know. Peavy is good, Vizquel is pretty so-so and Jones would most likely be relegated to DH.

I truly think that players have only one stat goal and that is to reach 500 HRs because that always seems to be a guaranteed HoF requirement. Sure, the Doubles record is nice but Home Runs are the stat to have.

I guess I should have qualified that statement. Normally, 500 will get you into the Hall. Yep, all we have from the first generation are gfox and Recon. I do like the thought of generations of Wi/Ht? and I'd say we're on the third generation now. 2002 - 2004 for first, 2005 - 2007 for second and 2008 - present for the current generation.
