Another reason might be the redesign, you know everything looking fancy and new and all. Might have caused people to start voting higher.
Yeah, that was also after the redesign but let's not blame the layout and rather Clock Day 2007. :P
Yeah, the Pokemon series went too far. If it was just the original 151 Pokemon, it wouldn't have been as bad. He only made the Pokemon series because people were demanding for more Hitler flashes. I know that sounds crazy but it's true.Indeed the first 151 would have been alright. I actually thought he would quit somewhere at that point, but then he moved on and I was thinking: He can't be serious about making 493 episodes of this.
Afro_Stud can be determined at times and he would have went all the way to 493 if the admins didn't stop him. It's a good thing they did since Afro didn't enjoy making them. I know it makes no sense for him to keep making them yet hate doing so.
As much as I supported the series, I could have lived without it happening in the first place. Then again, if it weren't for those flashes, Pokemon Bahamut Version would have never been made and that's my best flash.I haven't seen all your work (yet), but I remember Pokemon Bahamut Version was indeed one of your best projects thus far.
Yes, I put more effort into that flash than the others and I'm happy with it. Infact, I fixed a few things on it a while ago as well as finally giving it API.
We need to give him some time. After all, he must be kicking people in da nuts 5000000000000000 kajillion times!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Lol, you mean like this? :p
That's the spirit! Infact, there was even a few photoshops of them but only by Afro_Stud.
I invented the "Informative" genre. Its better than having to call your flash "Educational." Who the hell wants to be educated on Newgrounds?

That sounds odd indeed. It didn't seem like he had much effort to put into it though, and to be honest it also seemed he put less and less effort in the flashes as the series proceeded. I was expecting at least some special episodes on the legendary Pokemons and at the start of a new generation, but he just moved on. That was slightly disappointing imo.

So here's a little update / catch-up (although, probably more non-catch-up than actual catch-up) for all of you who I know and remember and cherish deep in my heart... just so you know that I'm still poking around behind the scenes, in relative silence.

IIRC, review and BBS mods talked about it and decided it would make things easier if the original abusive review thread was locked, and not recreated on NG in the form of news posts etc., because it just caused too much non-abusive stuff to get flagged and ultimately increased work for the review mods.
I think Wade interjected that if it's on news posts, users can do pretty much what they want... but if you're trying to help out review mods it's probably not the best way to go about it. But then I'm guessing it's more for helping people upgrade their whistle level than helping mods clean the site.
Not to get into a debate about a frankly tired issue or anything, just explaining the situation as I remember it.

Pretty much that - Whistle Whores try to help Newgrounds, but for the wrong reasons. When they make mistakes, they whinge and bitch about the Review Mods in a none too subtle "I'd make a better Review Mod than any of those dickweeds" cry for help.
Basically, sure - if you see abusive reviews, that are definitely abusive, feel free to get friends to flag them as well, so they come to our attention. If you're unsure, it's your own risk of flagging, but don't blindly flag submissions, as we're not exactly fans of people who flag just to get their whistle up. Naturally, if your whistle does get downgraded for miss-flagging, we will be full of sympathy :P

I would have assumed I would be negative since he is over here (at the moment) playing. I really don't keep up to date on English National soccer that much so I don't know who are your key guys are going to be for the World Cup.
I think that the 'key guys' are players like Wayne Rooney up front, John Terry at the back and possibly Becks in the midfield - he's not going to get much support from Lampard and Gerrard. Unfortunately, England coaches regard them as the two best midfielders in England, but since they play the same attacking game, it leave space in the centre, so we get beaten too easily.
Hopefully Mr. Capello can sort it out though.
Finally it's weekend! For me at least :p

Well, yesterday was my 5th Newgrounds Birthday! :)
I'll blame my lack of activity on why I totally forgot about it yesterday. :\

As long as it's not going to jump much more... if it does, you might end up having to take the long dive to work instead. :)
I just got a new craze - went for a run this morning. A great way to wake up, but bloody knackering.
Jolly good, old bean. I've never gotten into running myself, but I've enjoyed walking to places on occasion again now that I got myself a pair of paw covers. ^^

Right. One down, two to go. The second one should be easy, but it's the last one that's going to be tricky tonight. We'll see ;)

I suppose I was overdue for an LUL catch-up... but honestly I'd rather just jump back into it after the sheer amount of pages I've missed. The catch-up would have to be far too epic, and I just can't bring myself to do it with all the work that I've had recently ;P
On the bright side, I THINK I'm done with coursework for this term. I've just given in my third piece (in less than a month ;_; ), so AFAIK I'm just waiting for christmas now.
There's been quite a lot of uni work to be getting on with lately, and I'm at my girlfriend's place a lot of the time too and usually forget to check teh NG's when I'm there.Newgrounds, this is what happens to NGers when they spend too much time in the outside world.
It's pretty disgusting, eh?

2 of 3 now. The third one is going to be the hardest to reach, but I'm going to devote some time to getting it sorted now >:)
Something good happens but then something bad happens. One of my rabbits died last night so soon and I wish we took her to the vets sooner. My mum suspected she wasn't feeling well but I'm not sure if my dad even checked soon enough.
The good news, however, I can finally play TF2 again without any FPS issues! :D All I had to do was clean the fan on the laptop base and voila, it played well once again! So yes, I need to play this game for a good amount of time to make up for all the times when I didn't feel like playing it due to not being able to play it well.

NO! There's nothing more than that and dragons. :P

Goddamn, what did you ask for?
We couldn't be too playful with the alt-alt statements. However, we can be as silly as we want with Manowar arguments.No.
YES! However, I will say one thing about them: Joey DeMaio is a prick these days! Why he had a legal fight with Rhapsody is beyond me! Good thing they escaped from his wrath and signed to Nuclear Blast. NEW RHAPSODY IN 2010! :D
Maybe you could catch an episode with Scruffy.Maybe. But I'm not even sure when they show Futurama. And I'm too lazy to check right now. :P
Then check the goddamn channel!

I would've loved to see a little short as well, but I believe Afro isn't that good with animating. I can't remember any flash of him that had animation in it actually... =/
Yeah, I was also happy with the Bahamut special episode, even though it was just another single frame flash. And yes, Afro_Stud didn't put the effort into animating at all. It's a shame since he did draw some good character models one time but never put them to good use.

The catch-up would have put gfox to shame.

You deserve a medal!

Indeed. I almost became victim of this a while ago. :o
9,000 Medal Points GET!
I really don't think that I'll be able to get any more medals now today, so I'll be back in the morning for more congratulations and conversations :)
