Yeah, because you just relegate a 10 time gold glover to the DH slot, when his only 'injury' is a fat ass. Get him a work ethic and he could marshal any of the outfield positions for the White Sox.

It's up to him whether to have some motivation to be productive. Clearly he didn't want to be in LA when he showed up plus twenty pounds. He took the deal in Texas to hope to start but he didn't really show anything and was just a fill-in guy/pinch hitter. It's going to be interesting to see what happens next season with the sox.

I guess I should have qualified that statement. Normally, 500 will get you into the Hall. Yep, all we have from the first generation are gfox and Recon. I do like the thought of generations of Wi/Ht? and I'd say we're on the third generation now. 2002 - 2004 for first, 2005 - 2007 for second and 2008 - present for the current generation.

No, I was still with the factory standard (Not bad for a car that was built in 2000, eh?

I'd had the offer of a replacement battery from the first roadside recovery bloke that had turned up, but he used the hard sell on me, so I rebelled. The parts place I went to (Halfords) on Saturday wouldn't change the battery, as they're not trained mechanics, so they could only take the battery straight out and put a new one in.

The funny thing was, I'd booked a half day off work yesterday to leave at lunch and get the battery sorted. Timing was perfect :P
