Also, Crysis (which I finally got b/c it was on sale for $15 this weekend on Steam) is calling my name, as well.....

Plus it's not like he struck out that many times in the World Series... 8Ks in 6 games (20 at-bats), where as Howard was 13Ks in 23 at bats. So the HBPs may have reduced A-Rods stats in this category, but they may have also reduced his run production.

Nature, or nurture? I got into baseball from playing the demo version of NHL '99 and from there to the late night watching of Ice Hockey on Five. When the baseball season rolled around, I recorded a baseball game, thinking that there was going to be Ice Hockey that Sunday and became hooked.

I never particularly liked the MLS even though it has helped American soccer improve dramatically. It's really a bunch of wash-ups like Beckam trying to keep their career alive. Maybe if there were some more quality players I might watch more but it really doesn't hold my interest.

Well, he's probably my favourite NL player for my favourite NL team. (Tony LaRussa was the inspiration this time), but walking around the streets of England, correcting people's pronunciation of Pujols and seeing their reaction - When people in England hear "poo-holes", they assume you mean arseholes - could get quite old, quite quickly.

Afro_Stud can be determined at times and he would have went all the way to 493 if the admins didn't stop him. It's a good thing they did since Afro didn't enjoy making them. I know it makes no sense for him to keep making them yet hate doing so.

I was thinking the same. I bought something from amazon on Friday and the package tracking says: "delivered". Yeah, somewhere in south germany, really funny. That sounds odd indeed. It didn't seem like he had much effort to put into it though, and to be honest it also seemed he put less and less effort in the flashes as the series proceeded. I was expecting at least some special episodes on the legendary Pokemons and at the start of a new generation, but he just moved on. That was slightly disappointing imo.

I haven't seen all your work (yet), but I remember Pokemon Bahamut Version was indeed one of your best projects thus far.

Yes, I put more effort into that flash than the others and I'm happy with it. Infact, I fixed a few things on it a while ago as well as finally giving it API.

Oh that reminds me I still gotta add the API to some of my flashes. Only problem is, I lost the original flash files long ago =/

It never ceases to amaze me how much of this thread I've missed out on whenever I actually have the time to check it / post in it. HUNDREDS upon HUNDREDS of pages. My own fault for not being here as much, though.

IIRC, review and BBS mods talked about it and decided it would make things easier if the original abusive review thread was locked, and not recreated on NG in the form of news posts etc., because it just caused too much non-abusive stuff to get flagged and ultimately increased work for the review mods.

I think Wade interjected that if it's on news posts, users can do pretty much what they want... but if you're trying to help out review mods it's probably not the best way to go about it. But then I'm guessing it's more for helping people upgrade their whistle level than helping mods clean the site.

Not to get into a debate about a frankly tired issue or anything, just explaining the situation as I remember it.

Most people would probably ignore it, but it got a few laughs down at the pub when I was talking to another baseball fan (Braves fan, bless him). I think it was something along the lines of "The Braves got fucked in the Pujols last night!"

I'd say it's largely positive. Especially if he's going back to Milan with his eye on the World Cup in the summer. He's a hard working player, but a little materialistic off the pitch for my liking. Oh well, at least he didn't marry a stunning woman.

Pretty much that - Whistle Whores try to help Newgrounds, but for the wrong reasons. When they make mistakes, they whinge and bitch about the Review Mods in a none too subtle "I'd make a better Review Mod than any of those dickweeds" cry for help.

Basically, sure - if you see abusive reviews, that are definitely abusive, feel free to get friends to flag them as well, so they come to our attention. If you're unsure, it's your own risk of flagging, but don't blindly flag submissions, as we're not exactly fans of people who flag just to get their whistle up. Naturally, if your whistle does get downgraded for miss-flagging, we will be full of sympathy :P

Hell, even I suggested he did something special with the legendary Pokemon episodes but he refused. :( You all had to rely on me to make something for the landmarks.
