Yes, I rember it too well. I didn't see that game, but I'm a fan of Bayern Munich. ^^
And yeah, my brother said something similar: "The ref lets them play just as long as ManU needs to score another goal."
Not at all. I think that your friend's father may not have had the time to taste all of the culinary delights of the UK, which is saddening to hear a fellow country man saying that about home cooking.A friend of mine who's father was from the UK said: "They do it because the food tastes so awful, so they need something to make that stuff taste better." Do you agree with that? :PAt 9/19/09 06:54 PM, Haggard wrote:Well, the vinegar is something that I only tend to put over deep fried fish. I was never really a fan of vinegar on my chips. Lol, not right now. I have other things on my mind, that are far more important. :P

*dries himself off*. That was mean. :(
I still need Port Royal. It's really hard to get one in CD these days. :( However, I've seen one bid on eBay at a fair price so here's hoping I can get it. It's a shame some of their albums are difficult to get. There was enough hassle getting Death or Glory since I had to buy a second hand copy from Japan for £15.I wouldn't recommend later Running Wild material. Supposedly, it's their weakest stuff and I suggest listening to Black Hand Inn.I have a few songs off that album. But I think "Under Jolly Roger" and "Port Royal" are better.
Hm, never bought a Running Wild album, so I don't know how hard they are to get. Maybe I'll have a look next time I'm at the Media Markt/Saturn. After all they are a german band, so it shouldn't be too hard to get their albums here.

Thank you, guys! :)
21st September 2009 is the day I declare myself as a retired B/P'er. I've been voting on flashes for almost five years now (I started on 30th October 2004) and I've finally hit my retirement number, which funny enough the total was the one I had thoughts even in 2005 about it. It's been a few years and some breaks but I finally reached:
77,777 B/P - 40,000 Blams and 37,777 Saves
All great looking counts, even though 10,000 more for blams and 10,000 less for saves would have been nice but ah well, can't win everything. At least I'm there now. :D Of course, there are those future blams that I'm likely to get but if it happens, so be it.
Welcome to Idiot-buster's 92nd Level Up Lounge list!

There is that, but I think that the Cubs have a habit of losing in the first round, which could only be a maximum of 4 losses (Nowadays, that would be 3) before the playoffs are over.
Takes a while to add up :P
I figure the NL East is much a softer division than the Central so the Braves will have more opportunities to win, while the Cubbies have more opportunities to implode; that's my rationality. I guess we'll see in 3-5 years. :)
I wouldn't say it's much softer - the Mets, Braves and Phillies can all suck, but it's kind of gone around in circles, with one or two of these teams taking the point. The Marlins are pretty much Bipolar in that they will either win the world series or finish with a losing record.
And as for Washington...
