Yeah, but it used to be made about 20 miles down the road from me, so it's pretty local.
I never understood why you brits have to pour vinegar over every food you eat. Hell, you even have crisps with vinegar flavour. ^^
Well, the vinegar is something that I only tend to put over deep fried fish. I was never really a fan of vinegar on my chips. I can eat salt & vinegar crisps though, they can be quite nice. Vinegar is just a base for HP though - the real flavour is a fruity BBQ flavour.

A friend of mine who's father was from the UK said: "They do it because the food tastes so awful, so they need something to make that stuff taste better." Do you agree with that? :P
Last time I was in GB food wasn't bad, but maybe it was because I was mostly eating at restaurants.
And I remember me being in a supermarket, in front of me a storage rack full of brown sauce... boy that smell nearly etched off my nasal mucosa. ^^

I hate buying single songs or singles.

Yes, you do. :P

Good. :)

Aye, or you could do that. Why didn't you do that for Muse? And how about doin' the same thin' for Megadeth? Ye'll ne'er get me buried booty!
Because neither Muse nor Megadeth are going to play at the Rock Hard Festival. I only can motivate myself to check out bands if there's a chance that I can see them live.
Either way, it's highly recommended you listen to some Megadeth.

Yeah, maybe some day...

Off the plank!
There's no plank.
Oh yes there was. Now you go and this argument on myself thinking Slayer and Manowar are awesome is over.

Couldn't we just end this argument without me jumping off the plank?

Aye, me ne'er fail, I'm definitely right about Manowar's music bein' great. You just can't accept my thoughts on their music. Gar.
You can't accept my thoughts on their music.
You didn't accept mine in the first place. >:(

And I can never accept them.

Aye, what about Runnin' Wild and Alestorm? Gar.
Running Wild is quite good, but "Angelo Sasso" was just stupid.
I wouldn't recommend later Running Wild material. Supposedly, it's their weakest stuff and I suggest listening to Black Hand Inn.

I have a few songs off that album. But I think "Under Jolly Roger" and "Port Royal" are better.

There're few. Watched 'Last of the Samurai' with Tom Cruise, which I actually like... but feel that I must resent for hating my freshman roommate in college. Gay, dance major, anime obsessed room mate. Yea.

But, I've been playing Ninja Gaiden II, and now that you mention the pair I do recognize them. They're just poorly cropped into the level icon, and thusly I hate it.

I had to post in here again to congratulate gfox on his having finally hit the top 50. That's QUITE the achievement right there. I hope to join in on the fun down there 100 spots improved from my current rank within the next 2-3 years, I suppose. Odds are it'll be a lot tougher than that appraisal says. I really should get myself to 30k b/p though... not maxing out my voting potential is kinda starting to bother me.

Stuff like that. Coming up with moralities and principles and all. It sounds so typically American to me.

Yeah, but it's one of those feel good stories from the end of the News.

"Breaking News, North Korea invades South Korea. World War 3 is just around the corner! But now, a father shows his daughter some love, after she throws away his first souvenir baseball, after he watched the Phillies for 25 years. Aaw."

Well, the Braves would need to suck royally for 2-3 years to reach the 178 more losses required. The Cubs have had a longer history and have managed to hold their own in the regular season, saving the suckage mainly for the playoffs. 405 losses could take 5 or 6 years for the Cubs to achieve, as it doesn't count playoff losses. I don't think they'd have 10k, even if postseason was taken into consideration, either... Nope, they're only 29-55 in postseason, so they're still short of 10k.

Sounds like Stamper... You have my sympathies for such a room mate. At least it's not as bad as the couple who shared a room above me when I was at Uni - never went out, serial drinkers, spent most of their time when I was in watching the X-Files and shagging noisily. *shudders*

I still need Port Royal. It's really hard to get one in CD these days. :( However, I've seen one bid on eBay at a fair price so here's hoping I can get it. It's a shame some of their albums are difficult to get. There was enough hassle getting Death or Glory since I had to buy a second hand copy from Japan for £15.

Hmmm. I would have figured that the Cubs would have a lot more postseason losses. I guess you have to make the postseason to lose in it.
I figure the NL East is much a softer division than the Central so the Braves will have more opportunities to win, while the Cubbies have more opportunities to implode; that's my rationality. I guess we'll see in 3-5 years. :)

Perhaps he should try Brains' faggots ;)

Who, my friend or his father?
If you mean his father... well it's too late, he isn't with us anymore (he died years ago, don't know when, but I never got to know him).

No, my win. Because I have more money to buy other stuff then.
You have a point. I call it a win-loss situation. If you buy the one track, you'll have it to listen to wherever but if you don't, you won't have it but there's always money for other things. :)

Albums > Singles, that's for sure. There are only a few bands I buy singles from, but only if there are some songs on it that aren't on any album.

I'm sorry but I do not fail for thinking Megadeth are better than Metallica.
Yes, you do. :P
I. DO. NOT. FAIL.

Well, maybe you don't. But Metallica is still better than Megadeth. :P

Ahoy, you verily need your metalness impro'ed. Gar, Where can I find a bottle o'rum?
Over there -->
Thanks, I enjoyed it.
Good. :)
It was great with Running Wild playing very loud.

"Rum and Running Wild
go together like a horse and carriage"

Ah, not that good of a rhyme... :(

Either way, it's highly recommended you listen to some Megadeth.
Yeah, maybe some day...
You don't seem that bothered at all. :P

Lol, not right now. I have other things on my mind, that are far more important. :P

Oh yes there was. Now you go and this argument on myself thinking Slayer and Manowar are awesome is over.
Couldn't we just end this argument without me jumping off the plank?
Sorry but off you go! *pushes Haggard off the plank thus ending the argument*

*dries himself off*. That was mean. :(

I wouldn't recommend later Running Wild material. Supposedly, it's their weakest stuff and I suggest listening to Black Hand Inn.
I have a few songs off that album. But I think "Under Jolly Roger" and "Port Royal" are better.

Hm, never bought a Running Wild album, so I don't know how hard they are to get. Maybe I'll have a look next time I'm at the Media Markt/Saturn. After all they are a german band, so it shouldn't be too hard to get their albums here.

21st September 2009 is the day I declare myself as a retired B/P'er. I've been voting on flashes for almost five years now (I started on 30th October 2004) and I've finally hit my retirement number, which funny enough the total was the one I had thoughts even in 2005 about it. It's been a few years and some breaks but I finally reached:

77,777 B/P - 40,000 Blams and 37,777 Saves

All great looking counts, even though 10,000 more for blams and 10,000 less for saves would have been nice but ah well, can't win everything. At least I'm there now. :D Of course, there are those future blams that I'm likely to get but if it happens, so be it.

Lol, good point. You would rarely see those things on the dutch news though.

Yeah, but a media that lives of feeding the nation fear needs something light hearted to end the bulletin with.

Hmmm. I would have figured that the Cubs would have a lot more postseason losses. I guess you have to make the postseason to lose in it.

There is that, but I think that the Cubs have a habit of losing in the first round, which could only be a maximum of 4 losses (Nowadays, that would be 3) before the playoffs are over.

Takes a while to add up :P

I figure the NL East is much a softer division than the Central so the Braves will have more opportunities to win, while the Cubbies have more opportunities to implode; that's my rationality. I guess we'll see in 3-5 years. :)

I wouldn't say it's much softer - the Mets, Braves and Phillies can all suck, but it's kind of gone around in circles, with one or two of these teams taking the point. The Marlins are pretty much Bipolar in that they will either win the world series or finish with a losing record.

And as for Washington...

It's kind of a house rule at Old Trafford - they play just long enough to get the goal they need :P Remember the Champions League final in 1999? Ole Gunnar Solskjaer scoring the winner deep into injury time. Michael Owen seems to be filling that role.
Yes, I rember it too well. I didn't see that game, but I'm a fan of Bayern Munich. ^^
And yeah, my brother said something similar: "The ref lets them play just as long as ManU needs to score another goal."

It's not an official rule, but it certainly feels like one. Villa haven't beaten Man U in the Premiership for about 12 years now. Maybe this year is our year?

It's just that the british have a very bad reputation when it comes to cooking (not to say, maybe the worst reputation in europe :P ).

Well, that's an uninformed opinion in my eyes ;) I've been cooking for a few years and while most of the food I cook is 'foreign', it's still been cooked by me and I'm hardly professional, but I can cook a damned good meal. I must learn how to make a roast pork dinner...

Perhaps he should try Brains' faggots ;)

His father...

If you mean his father... well it's too late, he isn't with us anymore (he died years ago, don't know when, but I never got to know him).

You got me to lambast a dead man's taste in food? For shame, Haggard.

I hope to gain about 100+ BP today, but so far I´m not counting on it.

Bahamut: 77,777 BP, 40,000 Blams. Congrats on reaching your retirement numbers Bahamut! I was certain you were gonna keep that last save for your 100th flash, but you didn´t. Also, I think these are nicer retirement numbers because it's almost 50:50. Just my opinion. Anyway, congrats!
