Yeah, I've heard about the epic Oblivion intro, where the vastness of the game world hits you.
Some of the fuck-ups weren't really fuck-ups since they were more Doug's opinions but yeah, I'm surprised I didn't catch the bulldozer one. True enough. I'm not sure he wants them to do that though :P
Of all of their sons, only two have made it to the NHL so far - Brett & Brandon. Brody and Luke might still make it, as they are in the junior ranks of NHL organisations. Their careers will be worth watching, from a Hockey fan's point of view.I am sure they are. People probably have high expectations of them. And it´s always interesting to see if they can live up to those expectations or not.
Well, Brandon has so far - 4 games played, 1 goal. Brett is a little less prolific, with 5 points (1G, 4 assists) over his 51 game career so far. However, he's with a team that can bring him through this year.
Although I can imagine it sucks to be them though. I think as a sportman, I would really hate to be compared to someone else all the time =/
Some thrive on it, others don't. I could give you lots of examples from the Ice Hockey world, but mentioning names like Bobby & Brett Hull would just touch the tip of the iceberg...

Indeed it is, it's right there at the start and you know you've got one hell of a game to play after seeing it. I may have to decide whether this beats the opening in Bioshock or not.

Well, he raises a god point - we don't know for sure what happened, as we weren't there :P
I think what the theory is that all of the matter in the universe had attracted all of the other matter together and as a result of the massive gravity of it all compressing together into a singularity, it reached 'critical mass' and exploded.
Kind of like nature's kaleidoscope.

I´m not very familiar with this point system, but it sounds very interesting. So 1 goal and 4 assists is 5 points and the points determine the skill of a player? Any other things worth points as well, cause I can imagine it´s hard for a goalie and defenders to get into the spotlights this way. And also, I assume they use the points to determine the player of the year and such?

Oblivion is very much like Morrowind but with a better plot, better combat system and....better in everything. :D The intro feels epic, while Morrowind's felt dull.Yeah, I've heard about the epic Oblivion intro, where the vastness of the game world hits you.
I haven't played Bioshock, but probably the most epic intro I've ever seen is the one from Shadow of the Colossus, then again the whole game is an epic piece of art.
Exactly, and he did state his reasons as to why he didn't add that moment. You could say I've made a few mistakes on my Top FF tracks list myself and you know what, there could probably be a few changes done to the list but my top 10 will remain intact. Some of the fuck-ups weren't really fuck-ups since they were more Doug's opinions but yeah, I'm surprised I didn't catch the bulldozer one. I guess he was being too silly towards the film that it didn't really matter, although I didn't see anything nostalgic about Barb Wire.Yeah, I think the furore over the death of Optimus Prime was undue, I know he said himself he should have included it, but it's a guy on the internets' list at the end of the day.
Whenever someone does a top X of Y there'll always be doubts, omissions and second-guessing yourself, so no point worrying about it I suppose :P

According to NASA research, it's was about 13.7 Billion Years ago. You can read how they came about that number here.

There was an old man from Peru,
Who dreamed he was eating his shoe.
He woke in a fright
In the middle of the night
And found it was perfectly true.

I should check people's userpages for news posts more often then, I guess.
Then make sure you never hear any of their songs. I truly was in so much pain then and you were lucky compared to me. Infact, if you ever listen to it, you'll regret saying a single bad thing about Manowar...Even though you should be already. :PAs long as you didn't listen to any of their songs, you're not in much pain as I am.I'm sure I'm not in so much pain as you are. But I don't want to imagine how big your pain must be.
I'll never regret saying bad things about bad bands. I mean, a band that plays shitty music doesn't get better because some other band play even worse music. :P
Obviously you'll never accept the fact that I'm right.Obviously, you're still getting things wrong about Manowar.Obviously you still don't get that I'm the one who's right in this argument.
That's right, I won't accept it because you aren't. And because you aren't right I CAN'T accept it.
This bites. :(The universe must never end because....When did it start?Hm, Terry Pratchett put it this way: "There was a big nothing. And it exploded." But IIRC he doesn't say when exactly it happened.
I don't think we'll ever know when the universe started. :(

According to christians from all around the world the universe started some 5,000 years ago. I think the truth lies somwhere in between those two numbers. -.-
