A rant about some metal band
I'm sticking up for a few sensibilities here - Guns 'n' Roses are not some metal band. They are a rock band that's never really been metal.
Oh right. Well, I didn't read the whole paragraph, so I just read some other replies and figured out it was Guns n Roses, when I first thought Bahamut was saying Chinese Democracy was a band he liked!
That's what Google is for - you don't understand, you google a few key words (Chinese Democracy) and suddenly the answers are on screen.
How could you not have heard about Chinese Democracy? It's an album that W. Axl Rose has been allegedly writing for 14 years.
Longer than I've been alive O_O And he kept it out of the public for this long.. WHY?
Basically because he couldn't find any people willing to step into the shoes of the other GnR members, like Slash.
His problem is that he lets his political views get in the way of the music, hence why the only members of GnR that I ever cared about left the band and formed Velvet Revolver.
And now there are newer, yet. not crappier... (!) not as good members in your opinion?
Oh the new GnR sucks. I'm not casting my opinions on the new members, save that they can't live up to the legacy left by Slash. Axl Rose is the main problem that band has and the only way that GnR would be better would be if he left it to the original members. That's why I like Velvet Revolver - it's GnR without Axl.

Coop gets ready to start some home weight lifting, while congratulating:
I remember when I did weight lifting.
Back in fall 2005, I did sit-ups and weight-lifts ev'ry night! Not anymoar though.
You shouldn't lift weights at your age, it's bad for you, as your body has not developed yet and you run the risk of doing yourself long term damage.

I'd suggest that you listen to the following songs, as they are by GnR and are quite good:
Paradise City
Welcome to the Jungle
Sweet Child o' Mine
November Rain
Sympathy for the Devil
OK, I'll listen to them later, thanks for the suggestion :) *bookmarks*
They are worth listening to - possibly even worth buying a copy of GnR's greatest hits, as people don't tend to rip the piss for having their classics on your mp3 player

No, don't listen to this song. It's crap.
That's their best song. What's wrong with it (aside from Axl, that is)?
Seriously, GnR is THE most overrated band in the world. The only good one ever was Slash. And he wasted his talent on some dickhead like Axl. Also, he looks very silly with Top Hats.
Yeah, we know they are very overrated (closely followed by Nirvana, IMO) and that the split up was the best thing that ever happened to them, but they must have been onto something to shift so many copies of albums and singles.
