No, you can just turn up and type conventionally - it might mean that people with mics tend to ignore you for periods, but that's a hazard of frequenting a chat room.

Today's gonna be one of those days I think. All this week there are optional tutorials on in place of normal lectures, to help us prepare for the exams next week. So I got up, of my own accord, at 7 o'clock, so I could catch the 7.55 bus to college so I'd be there for Maths at 9.

Well, my bus didn't show, another one didn't appear for a good 20 minutes, and I wound up missing the tutorial, which was the ONLY reason I got up so early in the first place! Now I'm stuck here until 2 o'clock with nothing to do, when I could have had about 5 more hours in bed.

Got my final exam in my Computing for Scientists module today. It counts for 50% of our final grade, but I'm not too worried, it's essentially slightly complex Microsoft Office, so it should be grand.
