Fatboy Slim album, yep. That's it. Thanks, man. I so lazy. #;-}>
Me too, but checking wikipedia doesn't disturb my lazyness at all :P
Normally it doesn't mine, either. The problem is I'm really really vulnerable to wiki-traps. If I go to wikipedia just to look up one thing, sometimes I spend hours reading dozens of articles. IT'S A TRAP.
Just a note: Tea time is time to drink tea. Tee time is time to go start playing golf. #;-}>
Oh teh stupid spelling errors! At least I have a good excuse. "Tea" is spelled "Tee" in Germany :P
Ahhh, heh. Yeah, there's so many spellings of tea around the world. Te, Che, etc. etc. too.
Unless my mp3, which was autonamed by CDDB when I ripped it off of my CD of Curve's Doppleganger album, is lying... both the song and the album of the same name have the umlaut in Curve's naming of them.
Ah okay.
Doesn't that make you happy? Umlauts all over the place! #;-}>
Like I just saids, I did catch up yesterday! Just not in here.
More like 90 posts or so now. (GASP)
I feel weird.
I hope you big speech (and we all do expect a big speech, don't we?! :P ) is well prepared by now! ;)
It's not. But I'll have it for you guys. OMG.

Ha ha! Tons more Guitar Hero 2 songs. Awesome.
Why no MOTHER!?!? Danzig, baby.

Whoa. All of those are Guitar Hero 2 songs. Coincidence? I think not!
Again seriously on the ball. :D Well I've been really getting into Buckethead recently, so I couldn't get Jordan anywhere so I thought the soundtrack would be a good purchase. And I forgot how good all the songs were, I'm even listening to it again.
Ah, I see. I only played through Jordan on easy and medium in GH2, and I never replayed it very much, so I don't know the song very well.
Soundtrack CDs to teh GH games? Hmmmm.... I have so many of the songs already is the problem. It'd kinda be a lotta duplication.
Awesome! I called it, I called it, I called it!
You: 2 - Everyone else: 0 :P
I can't remember what I called again?
I've got nothing like that, either. Like I said, I was born in 77. Unless I saw them when I was 0, 1, or 2... there was no way for me to see them, either. #;-}>
Well I've seen baby clothes with Led Zep stuff on them but I suppose even if you went you wouldn't remember it :P
Exactly. But no, I didn't go. Unless my parents took me and have never told me. But that would blow! My first concert was ZZ Top, I believe, in around 1983 or 1984.
I actually saw it earlier today. I wanted to see it before the Oscars.
It won best adapted screenplay, supporting actor, director, and picture.
Woop, but I'm not gonna say if it deserved to take away from TWBB until I see it.
A fair stance you've got there.
TWBB only won best cinematography (which was gorgeous, BTW) and best actor.
Yeah I heard, it's all over the Irish news, with Daniel Day-Lewis being part Irish or whatever, sure I knew he was gonna win it, it was obvious. And it's just makin this Friday's wait a little longer now. Stupid European release dates :(
I think he's all Irish, but... don't quote me on that.
I was a bit disappointed by that. Don't get me wrong, I agree with you that NCFOM is a great movie, too. But I personally enjoyed TWBB quite a bit more, plot-wise and characters-wise and visuals/scenery-wise, too.
Again I won't judge till I see it. But I suppose being the Coen Brothers, NCFOM was always gonna win alot of awards. I don't really agree with whole academy thing deciding the best movies etc. Cause if they don't like you no matter how good you are you'll never win anything. Needs to be reformed in my opinion
Maybe, but the only Oscar they had won before last night was 1 for Fargo's screenplay.
Now they've gone from 1 all the way up 4. Pretty impressive.

What would the spendy be on?
Well, if I decided to drink, I'd end up spending quite a bit on beer and such. I didn't actually drink in the end, as I decided that it's better to save as much money as possible for travel expenses, as I'm hoping to go to Australia to stay with a friend of mine in May. Need to book the ticket by March 10th though, hence the need to save cash.
Interesting... so not only is there the avoiding driving after drinking reason to avoid teh drinks... but also the cost of drinks, eh?
I guess I assumed you were talking about a situation where the liquor runs free and wild. #;-}>
Ah but the thing is, I live about 15-20 miles outside of the nearest *good* city for evenings out, and cab drivers tend to try and take the piss a bit with fares, especially when you've had a few and they think they can extort you out of more money.
Ah, so there is a distance issue. Oh wells.
ABSENT IS GONE? Oh my gods. Lame. ;_;
I guess so. He hasn't posted or anything since he created that news post, and comments are disabled. It is indeed pretty lame.
I noticed he disabled comments on that, yeah. That's the worst part of all, really.
Also, was he quoting something else in his goodbye message? What was that?
I could do, but due to my Army aspirations, I'd prefer to go in at a reasonably young age, which means taking one or the other. If I did both, it would probably end up being 6-7 years in University, meaning that by the time I go to Sandhurst (the officer training academy), I'd be about 26-27, and then Sandhurst is another year of training before receiving your formal commission. I'd be within the age limit for going to Sandhurst (29), but I'd prefer to be younger when I go, as it's fairly physically demanding.
Well, you could do English or whatever else, then the officer training and... save the law school for later in life. Plenty of people get a law degree in their 30s or 40s.
Sure it does, but seriously I don't remember a time in the Wi/HT? history when there were this many Brits around. I mean, way back in the day jonthomson was the only one around (that I can think of)... and then came Denvish, of course, and others.
It's a golden age of diversity for the Wi/Ht?! :)
Well, a ton of Americans and Brits isn't exactly SUPER diverse, but we've got plenty of others around, too, so it's all good.
Some people seem to pick up languages fairly easily. One of my friends whom I went to Amsterdam with last year picked up Dutch over the course of the week that we were there for. Obviously, he wasn't anywhere near fluent by the end, but he easily knew enough to get by, which is impressive to me, as I'm not that great with learning foreign languages.
Did he really know NO Dutch at all going in, though? No preparation at all? If so, that's insanely impressive, yes.
