Ah yes, I've heard of those profs who won't care if you fall asleep or not. But I never met one of those ^^.
The funniest lecturer I ever had was Professor Erhard Kremer. Because he's so unique... he taped the microphone with sticking plaster to his chin! Of course it loosened over the course of the lecture, so he just used more and more sticking plaster until he had a big lump of plaster in his face.
But the best of all: You just can't understand him! If he uses the mic or not doesn't matter, because he mumbels like hell! All one could hear was something like: "Mmpfn, mmapf. X is - I never married because I do not earn enough money - bigger than zero mmpf."
And as you can see on his page: He bought himself some titles (like "Most admired man of the year") and says, the "honors" were "given to him" for his "intellectual achievements in the field of Applied Mathematical Stochastics".
