Yeah, but that doesn't mean that you couldn't use it to deflect some of the stars. I mean, you could, but the weight of the crowbar (or penguinbar, in this case :P) would make it a tad difficult.

I just found that out :P The problem is, I still have no clue of what could cause that. I would gladly fix it, you know, but I just don't know how...

A good idea might be to have a look at the flashes that were present in the Portal on the moment PG stopped working. I didn't manage to do it when it just fell out for me, but if you ever manage to have a look at the Portal little after it stopped, it would be kind to mail or PM me the source code of the UJ part of the Portal. I know that's not easy, but you're the person to which (I think) this has happened most times.

I agree, although in my opinion, the most ridiculous ones by far are 58, 59, and 60. I just laughed when I saw them. I expected them to be cool beyond the realms of cool; powering through the barriers of the mundane; exceeding everything in a manner that screams 'fuck you' while simultaneously politely demanding your respect.

Needless to say, I was utterly disappointed.

I also miss level weapons from the levels old levels of 19, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 28 and 29 they were pretty much abadonned.

19 and 26 always eluded me in the sense that I was never quite sure what they actually were.

21 and 22 were awesome axes, but they have been replaced by the orgasm of a level icon that is the level 46 axe, so that makes it slightly better.

23 I never really liked. It just looked too fragile to be level 23 out of 30.

24 was a nice little sword, but there are 4 or 5 swords in the new system. I reckon the level 42 and 51 swords should be switched though.

25 was just amazing. I guess 47 has replaced it, but it looks nowhere near as cool.

28 was the sweet golden axe, I believe? But again, axes aplenty.

29 was ok. No real opinion on it.

I just get the feeling that they ran out of ideas for the last 3 icons in the new system.

I have to agree, if you remember, when I used to post, I opposed the idea of new levels. But they way they did them, and locked them in place, I gotta say I like it too. And then there's the rest of the redesign which is als extremely nice.

Well if we're listing icons we're not fond of how about levels 2, 40 and 49? I've always hated the lollipop and that hasn't changed. Level 40 is kinda screwed. Do you really think a flimsy leg bone is going to fare better than a solid oak handle? No bloody way (glad I just missed it). As for level 49 I think draw on that bow is around 20 lbs. Good for target practice but not much else (unless it happens to be magical).

I agree... and the level 60 is totally a rip-off of the Furnation logo. :) But seriously, yeah, I wish they would've stayed with more of a fantasy theme for the level icons. Randomly thrown-in zodiac signs (level 49) and modern tools (especially levels 11, 14, 22, but also 39 and 54) just look a bit out of place. And the gloves just don't look that great, either. Ah well, at least the levels I will reach in the foreseeable future all look pretty cool. :)

It might be the case that when Pimp reaches level 60, he'll start pushing all of the level requirements up again. Tom wanted to give us a golden age before that happens. Either that, or they've given everyone on NG some goals to aim for.

My favorite is 46 too but I think it looks good in the light aura. I now have to bear the stupid 27 and 38 aka redesigned old level 21 and 22 axes. but 39-47 is cool fresh.

Scaling? I'm not quite sure what you mean... I was under the impression that the sliding level requirements are a thing of the past now, and in fact, the required amounts of XP do not seem to have changed since the introduction of the new design. :P

The FAQ still talks about them, of course, but then, it also still talks about levels 1 to 9 being 50 XP apart each.
