I don't know... I've been here for 2,5 years, and I'm only level 15. Given that the first 9 levels don't really count, anyway, that means I've reached the 6th "real" level out of 21 - so it's not just about not being able to get to high levels "real fast". Also, on a side note, it's not just about the time it's taking to get to those levels, it's also about the unfairness. If, for example, all levels above 9 had had never-changing 1000 XP gaps between them right from the start, it would still take you a long, long time to get to (for example) level 25, but it would've been like that for *everyone*, and the fact that some signed up earlier than others would only have meant that they'd have amassed more XP already and that they thus would get there earlier - but those who signed up later wouldn't receive an extra penalty for it.

The "broken system" even when the new levels are added the system won't be fixed since the gaps won't be gone they will only be smaller. Personally I don't think the new levels are a good Idea either for that same reason since it isn't a permanent solution to the problem. In a couple more years it will be the same thing all over again. The only way to fix the broken system would be to put all the levels on a fixed scale like the B/P system but that would defeat the whole purpose of depositing everyday since no matter how many deposits you miss it will take you the same amount of days to get to a certain level as some one who deposited everyday and how would that be fair?

I agree that adding new levels is band-aid at best, yes - but it's better than nothing for now, and purdy new icons are always nice, too. ;)

But seriously, it's simply not true that putting all levels on a fixed, never-changing scale is the only way to fix the current system. I've already proposed another solution in my last post - use an exponential scale instead of a linear one, so that the levels are spaced tighter near level 9 at any given points than they are near level 30 (or, hopefully soon, 60). That would neatly solve the current problems while still giving you an incentive to deposit every day that goes beyond reaching fixed levels.

(On a side note, even if the level requirements were frozen, I'm not sure how it'd take you the same amount of days to reach a certain level when you miss deposits as someone who doesn't - that person would have more XP than you and would thus take less time to reach certain levels, too. But I do see why a system like that would be less desirable than a sliding-scale system.)

The EXP Calculator isn't always correct as well. You forget that is only correct if the #1 user deposits everyday. If the #1 users doesn't deposit for the day but you do the gap won't increase. and if the #1 user stops completely there wouldn't be no increasing gaps until some one passes him/her.

If the #1 user stops, he will soon be overtaken by somebody else. Remember ht52? He stopped, but since pimp was right behind him, everything continued like before. Nowadays, of course, it'd take people some time to overtake pimp even if he stopped, but it wouldn't take *that* long, and I don't think the chance that he'll stop depositing anytime soon is that large, either.

Of course, it's true that he might miss deposits, but if you look at his average XP/day gain, you'll see that he really doesn't miss many - not at all.

Finally, yes, it's true that the calculator's estimates will be too big if the level 30 user doesn't deposit every day... but they will also be too small if *I* don't deposit every day, and I'd say that for the average user, that's actually more likely. I myself certainly have missed more deposits since I joined NG than pimp did since he joined.

I did a lot in the last 48 hours:
1. Reached 1,500 Blams;
2. Reached 3,000 Blams + Saves;
3. Broke past the 1337 ranking for total Blams + Saves;
4. Broke into the top 10,000 for Experience Points.
Pretty good for all to occur in just 2 days time!

Yeah and you only need 28 more saves before you can break the 1500 saves mark.

Well, now even if I want to submit decent movies they'll be zeroed. I submitted something ok not to long ago it passed at 2.29 by the time it left the portal it was 1.70. This is ok if I want to get turd but, now it seems like thats all I'll ever get. D:

In other words, your reputation is built upon by your actions, if alll your other movies deserve zeros, people will see your name by the submission and not even view it knowing there's a high chance of just being crap, voting zero.

you're right and all but people vote 0s for no reason too. For instance when a flash passes in the blue or green, you'l see the score drop slowly from random people, same like this if you change the name of the flash to "hot hentai fuckfest" it'll be massed 0ed or anything sexual for that matter.
