Heh... that must've been quite a while ago, yes. :) I switched to light when I hit level 13, simply because it looks better with these icons. Anyhow, I started sorting congrats lists alphabetically a while (a few months? half a year? something like that) ago, mostly because it makes it easier for people to find their own congrats in long lists.

The 50 votes thing was my suggestion and Tom put it in effect, this was to combat the ammount of shit clogging up the portal a while ago, but it seems to be causing problems now.

Not really. I like how it reduces the flood of new entries. Often I log in to find 40 UJ flash, and the page only displays the 50 most recent entries. It'd be a bitch to find all th UJ if it goes over 50. The 50 votes thing helps prevent that.
