but deciding to not vote at all in order to maintain your ratio is perfectly fine, of course.

I haven't done that too often either, but i don't really like doing it, either. It was like that when i hit some of my first EG ranks, when i had like 995 saves and exactly 2k blams, then i chose not to vote on crappy entries. I think it was quite unecessary, since it was in my early ranks, and i still am.

Still, it's something I wouldn't consider for myself, or - for that matter - something I even understand. For me, the number of blams I have, the number of saves, and the ratio of the two values are just observable parameters that do not carry any inherent quality - they're not inherently good, bad, or anything like that, so I just take them at face value, no matter what they are.

In other words, I simply seem them as things I observe, not things I actively try to change in any way (not counting the fact that I vote on stuff under submission to get points, without specifying whether they should be saves or blams).

I never meant to make the impression of me being the kind of guy who does that. But since i don't normally keep high paces, if i'd go saving verything that crossed my way, it would hurt me too much. It won't be happining anytime soon, though.

You got 10 EXP for registering with applying both subscriptions. You got 20 EXP for creating a profile. And incase you're not sure how to get more EXP, just take a look at the Experience Information from the FAQ.

It's not special. 1000 is, but 1100 is just a relatively random unimportant number. :)
