Aye. :) It always amazes me that many people seem to stop voting on new stuff after reaching EGSC - maybe it's the (perceived) lack of challenges after that, but in any case, it does allow you to gain a couple of ranks within a very short time when you reach EGSC yourself, yes. :)

Who knows. Back when I entered the top 50, you needed about 25000 points for it; today, it's about 28500, so the requirements have already risen by 3500 points. In the beginning of 2007, I think 38000 just might not be enough anymore, although it will of course depend on how many people will stop gathering points (or at least, many points) after reaching EGSC.

On the other hand, though, once the entire top 50 is filled with EGSCs, "I want to enter the top 50" might also become an important goal, and *then* we might really see some competition, with the established top-50ers trying to stay in and those behind them trying to gain an edge by getting more points...

Quadlisting is probably out for me. >_> I do post more than I used to these days, but still not *that* much; a conservative estimate would be about 5 posts per day, which would mean it'd take me roughly 1900 days to reach 10000 posts - about five years. Fortunately, my XP's better, though, so I should be able to get triple-listed some time in 2007, at least. ^^ (Although given my luck, gfox will probably switch to 3x10k format right when I'm about to hit 10k saves and 4x10k format when I'm about to hit 10k XP. It happened with blams in the past - he switched to 2x10k right when I was about to hit 10k blams and was already looking forward to list entry.)

Not top 2000 exp users, top 2000 ACTIVE exp users. As in level 21 who quit newgrounds 2 years ago doesn't get a shot. And no one is randomly picked, the nominess, admins, and mods are picked, in addition to the normal 2000 panel. didn't you read my post? SMC is like 60 points above me.
