It takes ages to get from level 9 to 10. It was a lot more conveient when 50 points separated each level.

Are you sure? You've got 100 XP, and have been signed since the 20th of December - so you could've gained about 170 or so since then (~15 days = 150 XP, plus 20 or so that you can get by subscribing to the newsletters when you sign up). And even if you didn't sign up for those, you still should have about 150 or so if you had deposited every day. :)
