To get experience points you have to vote on 5 submissions in a day, once you've done that you will be allowed to deposit your experience points and you will recieve 10 points for doing so.

Once you get a certain number of experience points you will go up a level. Look at this to see how many experience points you need to reach a certain level and what the icons for each level are.

Use this to see how long it will take you to reach a certain level.

How time flies, it has been a week since I joined NG. I experienced some internet flames in the week since some people think that I am DoD's alt. We were a bit upset for a few times. But I guess that I will have to deal with the flames as the cost of being a n00b. But as I said, I want to make impacts and I believe that I will make big impacts one day just like by bf. Back to the topic. I am a level 3 (just leveled up) user and a Safety Patrol now. Because of that, I now have a 2% bonus voting power and I am so excited about it. I know that Safety Patrol is nothing for most of you. But at least it is a good start for me as a n00b. Hopefully, it will not take me too long to get my second b/p level up.

Well save the levelup accouncements until lvl 10. 2-9 are easy to get. There always will be noobs think your d0d alt. But He has to know that creating alts is fine, guess who I am, an alt. however congrats on the safety partol.

Well, if you find out, let me know. But I don't care too much. I'm more interested in how many days could I have leveled up by depositing before DaFreak and then slipped back to level 26 when he deposited... I'm thinking the total's gonna be about 8 days, but that seems wrong somehow... 6, 7, 8, somewhere in there, I believe. No actual calculations on my part, just "feel."

Yeah... um... so, congrats on leveling up early, then. We all will, at some point or another, thanks to yet another great "level 30 user doesn't deposit" day.

The bad news is that with Pimp and HT both at the same exp amount every day, that's TWO level 30 users that would have to miss a deposit before we ever get another break like the one we got yesterday. Ah well.

... and hey... The gap between them used to be 30... so over the past two years, we've gained 3 extra days of non-lv-30-user-affected exping. And that's a good thing, though it's still not enough to satisfy entirely.

Well, the last time HT and Shrapnel missed a deposit before yesterday was in June of 2005... and the last time before THAT time... was in April of 2004.

What I'm trying to say here is that it is a rare enough event that it happens once or twice a year.

Unless hell has frozen over... I don't expect they'll miss another deposit until the middle of 2006 or so, and that will be when Pimp finally takes over the crown. But we'll see! And time shall tell. Sooner... or later.
