Finally I am Level 10!

Also my B/P's are growing fast. I should be on the next level pretty soon.

I've finally got1000 experience points, it feels great to have reached the first 1000 points milestone on this account.

Though it's somewhat a shame that major_punk can't experience this himself.

Secrets of the Ancients
9 - “A Night Out”

Noir, the mayor of the city stood up from his limousine as he was greeted by a roll of red carpet and mass media of coverage cameras. Bahamut grinned as he stared at the crowd while walking away from the scene. Without walking far, Bahamut entered an alleyway, where he immediately withdrew his grappling hook. It seemed basic to use. There were two triggers; one to fire and one to pull. With that thought in his mind, Bahamut edged closer to the building he faced, raising the gadget upwards and firing a rope that flew up into the sky without caution. Bahamut shifted the rope forwards in hope to catch the ledge, quickly pulling back the trigger as he felt weight catch and his body being pulled out to the sky. The sound of rope spinning back into the gadget was absent and it made Bahamut even more excited in finding out Syndicate’s secrets. As he reached the ledge, he quickly raised his hand as he grabbed the edge, pulling himself upwards and looking around him. He was at the top and there was one door that led into the building he would be entering.

Proceeding through the door, Bahamut quickly removed his leather trench coat as he tucked the small sized grappling hook beneath his suit. Moving his hand to his right side, he quickly produced his glass designed pistol, which felt like any other. Pulling back the trigger, he proceeded onwards in the dark corridors. No body moved yet he stayed cautious, desperately trying to find the elevator. In little time, he found the door, pushing the button while waiting for the lift to comply and rise up to greet him in. Upon entering, Bahamut stared at the few buttons and pushed the lowest (B2), moving down instantly. There would be problems if people saw him armed, so he tucked his pistol back in his suit just to be cautious.

Without interruptions, Bahamut reached the basement floor safely, quickly pulling out his gun and waiting for the door to open. A man in a black suit turned to greet someone he was expecting. The man’s face changed to a twisted shock of horror as Bahamut took little time to fire a shot to end the man’s life. Killing now seemed surreal to Bahamut as he had played so many simulations throughout his lifetime.

Moving on through the various corridors, while knocking out necessary soldiers and guards (that would have been a threat to him), Bahamut finally reached a mechanical large door. It was ajar. Bahamut glanced around him, realizing the typical cliché environment he was in. He stood at the end of a dark hallway where no one lurked was a large door that led into darkness. It seemed all too good to be true.

Entering, he was immediately brought to the attention of mechanical sounds at the other end of the dark room. It sounded similar to that of a print off from a photo copier machine. Proceeding further in the darkness, Bahamut managed to focus his eyes to the black, seeing the large tangles of wires that whirled around the room. Towards the centre of the large room was a small light, where a single screen continued to flash black and white. Curious, Bahamut proceeded closer forwards as he realized the screen showed a particular page of a book, quickly changing to another and another until it all seemed the same.

“Have you found any links with the Creator’s city core yet Fifth?” Asked a tall shaded man in a leathered trench coat.
“Not yet Seventh,” replied Fifth; obviously the Fifth Star, “From what I can see, all this text is the basic Ancient language.”

To Bahamut’s horror, he saw a large vine of electrical wires connected to a cap attached the Fifth Star’s head, which was directly aligned with the strange screen. It seemed as though the man was processing everything he saw on the screen in an instant. Without thinking, Bahamut lifted his pistol, firing at the mass of wires about the Fifth’s head, blowing the connection instantly and sending the screen to vanish into darkness.

“He is here,” said the Seventh, “Bahamut is here.”
Turning around, the dark man stared at Bahamut as his white teeth flashed momentarily. It was obvious that they had been expecting the man. Bahamut clenched his teeth as he growled under his voice, taking a step back, pistol pointed at the tall man.
“You are not getting away with this,” growled the man, “I am going to stop you. Here. Now.”

To get experience points you have to vote on 5 submissions in a day, once you've done that you will be allowed to deposit your experience points and you will recieve 10 points for doing so.
