The point of the BBS itself is basically to communicate with other NG users really.
This thread served to show how dedicated Wi/Ht-ers compared with each other stat-wise.

I agree with this - people are becoming more aware of the lists again and think that their post count in the Wi/Ht guarantees them a chance to join the list. I've got a few ideas, but I shall keep them under wraps until nominations are called for (if ever this should happen)

Ah yes. Before this list went dormant, myself and absent were Regulars, but now we're on the Wi/Ht? Memberlist. Therefore, we cannot vote for any new regulars. Yeah, iscrulz, X-Naut/Tannerite and Major-Punk haven't posted much on this forum for a while now. LittleWashu and Kirk-Cocaine, however, have posted more than them and they're more likely to vote for someone than the other three on the next Regulars update.

Also, I agree with lowering the requirement for someone to get on this list. I was actually thinking about having just one new regular per update (maybe two for the revival update) as long as they have at least 5 votes.

Well said, really. Question threads ARE what this thread was intended to be for by the admins in the beginning, but it grew to be about more than that.

That said, there is NOTHING better than someone finding an old flash movie or game for someone, I've been posting in a couple of those threads this month, and I just reviewed (#666) a movie that someone was looking for, posted here about, and someone else helped them just a few days later. It is indeed awesome when someone does that.

But that doesn't mean that all threads here are for all people. If you only find some stat threads interesting, and others (such as this one) not so much... can't you just "change the channel," as it were, but not bitch in the threads you don't like? Seriously, man. Leave the drama in General, Politics, and C&C where it belongs.

Actually, I'm seen a plausible idea on a website extolling the virtues of the 28 hour day/6 day week, which means 6 days with 4 extra hours, making up the 24 hours from the missing day.

The timing would be such that Monday morning's the same, but Friday night and Saturday night have light later, so you can use more sunlight on the weekends.

Of course, for 3 workdays it would be pitch black out most of the day. Such is the cost. Oh, and 10 hour work days, but 4 x 10 = way better than 5 x 8 to me, anyway.

Yeah, like the Members vs Mods thread, although I didn't get into that thread until the last few months before it got locked. To be honest, the title of that thread didn't make me look at it until one day when I got bored, I just looked at what was said and heard about the Regulars list and saw myself being nominated. That gave me a huge surprise since I wasn't aware of it at all. I'm glad I did check because some would have asked me about my thoughts on becoming one of the newest Wi/Ht? regulars back and I'd be like "WTF are you talking about?"

Quick clarification - when is the update actually coming again? 1st March? It'll be cool to get this list up and running again - maybe it will encourage more new people to increase their activity levels in the Wi/Ht.

Yeah, Coop could go and do that. However, back then, there were forum mods, audio mods and review mods. Now we have icon mods too and loads more mods. In total, that'll be four mod lists and the Wi/Ht? memberlist. I highly recommend Coop to resurrect the Members vs Mods list if he's so desperate for a Wi/Ht? member stat list.

That's what I thought. Although I find the Wi/Ht? forum very active right now, more activity wouldn't hurt. Because of all the replies to threads, I've managed to pick up about 25 regular potentials so far! I've created a list of regular potentials for the current regulars to know who to vote for, most especially the ones who haven't been active for a while now.

I don't think a separate list for all mod types is a good idea. Either make a list of all mods together in one list, or just do forum mods.
