Congradulations on retirement. (Should I be congratulating you for retiring?)
Why not? They throw retirement parties to congratulate policemen, politicians, and businessmen who retire...
Doesn't a longtime NG user and fan who retires from b/ping after nearly 3 years (January 2003 to October 2005) of plenty of work and fun and number-obsessing... merit a congrats? I appreciate it. #;-}>
Congrats again to the winners. The numbers you accurately guessed I'd stop at... have now been stopped at. And thus..... the circle is complete. Or somesuch.
But it begins anew with gfoxclock?
Yeah. Those pesky circles... they cause things to loop and loop and loop again.
But let me assure you, gfoxclock's b/p path is going to be much longer, much slower, and much less intense than gfoxcook's was.
It will, however, be very... very... very neutral. I hope to maintain a near 50:50 b/p ratio for my alt... for many many months, if not years, to come. While slowly (but surely) increasing those numbers. But it won't cause me any stress, won't cause me to waste any time I can't afford to waste (as I have in the past), etc. etc.
As I said before, what was once almost a job in itself... I have retired from. No more 21,000-point years for me... that kind of b/p production is in my past now (not that I could ever compete with some of the ultimate b/pers in terms of rate).
It will now be a minor hobby that I spend very little time on, with other things taking up what little free time I have nowadays. b/p just isn't a priority anymore. But I won't be stopping entirely any time soon. Just.... massively cutting back compared to what I was doing for those 34 months that just came to an end. #;-}>

Anyway, I'm getting tired, even though I kinda took an accidental-nap earlier tonight (soooo tired from the workweek). I'll be around later (late Saturday, early Sunday most likely) to update the pentalist and so forth.
5 more posts till 8600, where (believe it or not!) I will be stopping at for much if not most if not all of next week (back to reality and my job, yo... oh, what I wouldn't give for just a few more hours in every day... mmm... extra time... delicious...).
GOODNIGHT NOW.
