Congradulations on retirement. (Should I be congratulating you for retiring?)

Congrats again to the winners. The numbers you accurately guessed I'd stop at... have now been stopped at. And thus..... the circle is complete. Or somesuch.

But it begins anew with gfoxclock?

Why not? They throw retirement parties to congratulate policemen, politicians, and businessmen who retire...

Doesn't a longtime NG user and fan who retires from b/ping after nearly 3 years (January 2003 to October 2005) of plenty of work and fun and number-obsessing... merit a congrats? I appreciate it. #;-}>

Yeah. Those pesky circles... they cause things to loop and loop and loop again.

But let me assure you, gfoxclock's b/p path is going to be much longer, much slower, and much less intense than gfoxcook's was.

It will, however, be very... very... very neutral. I hope to maintain a near 50:50 b/p ratio for my alt... for many many months, if not years, to come. While slowly (but surely) increasing those numbers. But it won't cause me any stress, won't cause me to waste any time I can't afford to waste (as I have in the past), etc. etc.

As I said before, what was once almost a job in itself... I have retired from. No more 21,000-point years for me... that kind of b/p production is in my past now (not that I could ever compete with some of the ultimate b/pers in terms of rate).

It will now be a minor hobby that I spend very little time on, with other things taking up what little free time I have nowadays. b/p just isn't a priority anymore. But I won't be stopping entirely any time soon. Just.... massively cutting back compared to what I was doing for those 34 months that just came to an end. #;-}>

...

Anyway, I'm getting tired, even though I kinda took an accidental-nap earlier tonight (soooo tired from the workweek). I'll be around later (late Saturday, early Sunday most likely) to update the pentalist and so forth.

5 more posts till 8600, where (believe it or not!) I will be stopping at for much if not most if not all of next week (back to reality and my job, yo... oh, what I wouldn't give for just a few more hours in every day... mmm... extra time... delicious...).

GOODNIGHT NOW.

Ahhh... retirement is nice. Hey, where'd you contest winners go, anyway? I kinda expected one or two of ya (at least!) to drop by at some point, especially those of you still wearing your sigpics (wismty and Myst are... I'm not sure if anyone else is, I haven't seen posts by the rest of you tonight)... to say... one last time:

"I was right! I was right about you, gfox... there WAS good in me... and I am your (abouttobedead) father... use the Force, Luke..."

uhhh... I have no idea what the hell just happened. That was teh twisted Return of the Jedi meets total sleepy insanity on my part... insanity. Fun!

So anyway, yeah... where be ye guys?

No, I'm almost to 8620. #;-}>

I seriously am starting to wonder WHEN I'm going to hit 10,000. I thought it was gonna be by the end of 2005 back in the spring, but that was before I got my current job in June... Now it's looking like I'll be lucky to hit 10k by my birthday NEXT year... June 2006 (when I'll be nearly level 21, BTW).

GOODNIGHT NOW.
(

You no likey fellow SoCal guy... aka teh Jim Rome?

Again... I say to you...

GOODNIGHT NOW!

You'll probably end up stopping at 39000 and 25000, for a total of 64000.
Assuming you go past 60000 anyway.

Heh... you guys put a bolt through his neck for Halloween, didntcha. #;-}>

Come on, man, that topic is like... what, almost as old as THIS topic is? How can people be upset with the 30 posters from page 1 of that topic if they decide to move on and control their own sigpic destiny again. Heh.

Anywho... I wasn't singling you out or anything, I just wondered if Tar, wismty, Myst, etc. were gonna drop by here anytime ever again. But... while we're on the subject: don't you have an alt you could wear the contest sigpic on or something, at least? #;-}>

Youse guys is so funny.

You know, the way you didn't read anything besides the start of the topic and ALSO how you didn't notice the start of the topic is months and months old by this point. Or that I've already retired at 36k and 24k.

TRIPLE-FUNNIES TIMES TWO FOR THE WIN! #;-}>
