So Where are we dear? Unlike a number of users I have done this for I don't have a long history of knowing you that well. Indeed due to your internet problems you're 'out of the loop' on a fair few Newgrounds things. Therefore it wouldn't surprise me if we have a difference of views but plunging ahead... I think you're obviously influenced by home events, I think your interest with fantasy worlds, Newgrounds and perhaps critically role-play is as of a contributing factor home life. It doesn't take a genius to say that but I think it's a reasonable assumption to think that if someone is very interested in fantasy roleplay and imaginary worlds that they either have a very large imagination or are to some extent "escaping". I don't know about your imagination, reading your writing such as the Myspace one it's not cutting edge stuff (but I think you could do better if you tried). I am therefore tempted to partly attribute your use of this website and its RP clubs as a barrier against home trouble. I think this was reinforced when you said that you would get the Naruto RP club deleted if people didn't tell you what was going on in it (You'd had a spell of not being online at that time), you were posessive of something you felt you'd created and was yours as you had been unable to be possessive of perhaps some *real* things in life because other adults were involved.

Anyway, I don't want to get down this path too much further. Either you think you have a perfect home-life and it has no impact on you or you might see some of what I am saying and be able to phrase it in a better way. You're welcome to post it...
In other areas you have not said too much about what you enjoy outside of Newgrounds except for these animations and also some games (You mention Guitar Hero a bit), games are fine and they're things for your age. They're also a little bit of an escape and it's important to find other things, tangible things if you want to escape and make your life settled in the future.

You seem to me a person who doesn't crave attention, infact you don't seem to want it that much. Although you post on NG a lot (or used to), you don't make much controversial posts although you do defend your patch with a fierce tongue. I guess for your friends you are a good loyal friend but you're always a bit worried that they're going to muscle in on your space or ideas or that they aren't showing their true side to you. You are likely to place a lot of value in someone's word, but only accept that word from very very close friends of which you may only have even one or two. There's nothing wrong with this at all.
I would suspect though that on your MSN, AIM or Facebook (or whatever...) you know a fair few people at a very casual arms length distance, you do however share some intimate stuff, personal truths, etc with them, mostly because you know they're not in a position to hurt you and you do want to tell someone. This is perfectly natural, the internet has taken on the role of a friend, or a counsellor in many cases.
I don't see you showing too much emotion on NG or elsewhere, you complain about things that brake (laptop) etc, but you must have quite a lot of being sad, confused, or angry. You need to get that out (without being EMO) and although games and stuff can help, nothing beats going with friends for a few drinks (when legal), bowling, or Laser Quest or something like that.

So, what else can I say? Well, not too much. I hope you've enjoyed reading this, sorry for the delay... (massive delay) and rest assured that out of my analysis jobs I've done due to your rather shallow post history I'm not 100% convinced I've struck the right path. This is my oldest thread on NG. Like a good wine, it has matured with age from two paragraph reviews of Dobio, to two - four full posts for people who get one. Since inception over 80 people have been reviewed, for a total word count of over 110,000.

This thread is Still active, as demonstrated below by the review of SSI. Therefore to prevent it getting filled with spam which mods don't like, I require the following to be done and noted if you wish to be reviewed;

i) You *must* have over 2,000 posts.
ii) You *must* have joined NG during 2006 or earlier.
iii) You must only *request once* in this thread. FROM THIS post onwards, due to the nature of the gap since the last post, all previous requests are considered completed / ignored. Therefore if you have posted before and not been done, you may now re-request.
iv) Do not bump the thread if I have not done yours. *PM me to ask where it is*
v) If you're reviewed, feel free to PM me with additional information, links or what-not you wish to have considered. I also very much like it when people bother to reply to tell me how I did. I am shallow like that and need to know when I get things wrong, or right and how to improve.

ii) If you'd read any of the recent... uh 50-55 pages, when I post, I post long 2 - 4 page reviews of people. That takes time and effort. I am currently in the starting phase of another persons' and will likely finish 3 maximum today including SSI. By denigrating what I do, you don't do anything... mostly because you've misconceptualised what I am doing.

I've seen this thread numerous times in the past. I'd like it if you could analyse me at some point. I thought I might have done it before, but obviously not judging by your index. It would probably make more sense to judge my more recent posts, as I think I was a bigger idiot in the past. Well, that's up to you I guess.

I'll launch straigt into it then with your profile... Lots of stats I guess. XP Points, some flash reviews but very little B/P. You're a BBS poster through-and-through which isn't suprising for a number of reasons, (age, gender... interests - see later). The post per day is the same as the maxiumum I got to when I was a BBS moderator... That's quite a high number!

I vote everyday that I can and I review what I like or what really needs an improvement. I started B/Ping but it got boring so I stopped. I like posting since it gives me a voice.

You started your posting on Newgrounds very soon after you created an account with the post 'If anyone disagrees the go shove it', rather rude don't you think? You also like some new people picture spammed (http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/user_imag es/pics/1/8862000/ng bbs4466a98267137.gif). You used to be called 'Battleman7' on Newgrounds, which again fits with the other things so far. I think at least then you were typically into games and so on.
Your first few pages of posts were about getting 'rated'. Since then you branched out a bit into other areas and I'd like to take a few pages that I browsed into special consideration.

I only picture spammed because I was an idiot who didn't know how to make a sig. Battleman7 came from my old runescape name, everyone had at least one account, Battlenet2k7. I was new to the BBS which meant I didn't understand how it worked just then.

just as background, I read on average 25 pages of posts out of every hundred, so I do apologize if I miss something key. Usually not however...

On page 179 you were looking to get Adobe Flash for free. Mostly this was because you had been drawing Zelda characters (and other things) in MS Paint and people seemed to be flaming you a bit. To be honest around these pages (which are quite early in your NG life (July 2006)) you didn't appear to have the greatest interest into going into things in a meaningful way. Many threads you posted in where "Joke Threads" with little chance to survive very long. Still you appeared to have some fun although a telling comment you left was that: "I post to do something". Obviously quite a few NG users do that, one of the points it has to be said of a BBS is to provide interaction to people who are apart from each other. When the topics aren't very deep it's not a stretch of the imagination to see that people might be bored... or at least unfullfilled by what they are posting.

I don't care about it any more, If I could get the money I would buy it but for now I'm cool with paint. It did in fact though help me interact with other people.

This is actually a point I'll come back to later. For now during 2006 you didn't demonstrate that you weren't happy, but it was something of an angst/anger theme in 2007 that makes me think you used the internet and NG as a kind of sounding-board. We'll get back to this in a bit...

Well I matured in 2007 which made me relize that I can truly get a word out there. I got angry because I really didn't know any other way to express these feelings.

You joined a club "Naruto RPG", now I don't know exactly what Naruto is (Japanese anime right?), I personally like some animations but these tend to be stand alone movie versions. So for example I love "Wonderful Days" which is Korean, "Nausicaa" and "Apple Seed", but these are all single movies. You seem to like series, which is cool if you can keep up with what's going on!

I made the Naruto RPG, it is a stupid anime but I like the setting. I've seen Apple Seed which was pretty cool and I kind of want to see Ex Machina. I am really good at keeping up with any storyline, including A Clockwork Orange, great book.

On Page 165 there's a little extract from a story you wrote for the "fire emblem crew", although the grammar and so forth is not top-flight it's so well written compared to lots of your earlier posts. In addition if you look round this page of posts you'll see that you get the punctuation and other things in most posts much better than you used to do. Perhaps NG 'grew you up', through flames, or more likely in my view you were starting to identify that you could be a little more than the standard user. One of the ways of doing this is to make a little extra effort... and you did that.

Actually I did kind of grow up from NG and I am above a standard user. The only reason I was able to write so well is because I just sit down and type what comes to mind and only make tiny tweaks. The best stuff comes out better when it is still fresh in your mind.

You continued writing parts of your story while still posting mostly smaller posts. I read through the pages 150- 155 and didn't see anything really deep. I was a little disapointed as it was September by now in your account history.

I had nothing to think about. I usually create better when there are things going on. Just recently my English teacher was impressed when she read this extra chapter I added to, The Adventure of Huckleberry Finn.

I caught on page 131 of your posts (http://www.newgrounds.com/bbs/topic/583 331) this topic... Your "Myspace Attack" story. The thread died on page one, but you did manage to post three updates. It was a start to something outside your comfort zone of your clubs and crews (Naruto) but I suspect a lack of effort stopped you, or perhaps the main characters hadn't commented in your thread, (Jade, BobbyJ etc). Still, a start hey?

I'm only able to write what feels natural to me. If I'm not interested in it I usually won't add to it. But if I'm able to keep interest i will continue the story and kepp continuing until I feel I should be done.

Sometimes you share a bit much with Newgrounds "There is this girl who sits across from me in Spanish class. She almost always wears skirts and I almost always get to see her panties. It gives me a hard on and I try not to look."

Ahhh, last year, I don't know why I was thinking about it but it was true. I don't see her around much except on the school news. I have matured much more since then.

Yes, thanks for that. Still, hey at least you were able to transfer growing up from being an internal thing to some form of external thing (posting it...) externalising your experiences is important for development.
