Well, I generally only review people who I feel have decent music. Lately, there has been a lot more great music showing up to the portal, so I've been giving a lot more reviews.

They won't get helpful feedback, making them slower in the process of improving.

I'm just going to be blunt here, I hope no one takes offense. There are some people who (despite however hard trying) just aren't going to get very far with music- it's not their forte.
When I am on my computer, I am always composing music. For example, when I am posting stuff on forums I am in the process of listening to a creation of mine for mastering or am brainstorming ideas in my head. When I review a piece however, I have to stop everything and focus on that piece. This is why I am selective with my reviews, because it puts a delay on my personal work.
If I was to review everyone, I wouldn't be able to get anything outside of newgrounds done, so I have to be selective. And, I tend to review people who I think will benefit from my comments most, and those people are generally the ones who show most potential (and are most dedicated). That's not to say I won't review someone who is new at music, and if someone asks me to review I generally will do it.
It may sound a little selfish, but I just don't have the time to be listening to other music constantly, so I have to draw the line somewhere.
Anyway, glad you got approved, now I can go add your stuff to my Newground library!

It's obviously difficult to do a collaboration with someone if both people are not using identical programs, unless of course they are using medium software such as ReWire. Is there anyone interested in doing a single collaboration song with me? Preferable someone with a keen sense of emotion and diversibility in their music. I'm open to most styles and genres.
